Need help installing Clockword Recovery

I just flash latest asia firmware P1000DXJM2
I have try using method in previous post ClockworkMod Recovery Beta
Im using International zImage & euro flash image
Still doesnt work..

Yah would like some help too. I own a singapore sgt. P1000dxjj2 but the instructions for CWM only for sprint etc. Would love if someone can provide some info for CWM installation

Check Modaco (Paulobrian) or Rotohammer threads

Try using Odin to flash paulibrians kernel. It'll install CWM and you can convert to ext4 without losing your apps & data on your SD card

bootloop issues

hello everyone
I have a bootloop problem and it is really frustrating!
i was on paranoidandroid rom and i wanted to go back to gingerbread 2.3.5
so i flashed using odin KK4 firmware and once it was complete the phone got stuck on the boot animation.. i had tried taking the battery out and waiting and still no luck.. i then thought to flash 2.3.6 so ive just done that in the form of LPA and I am again getting bootloop problems
on odin i had used phone pda and csc with repartition unchecked when installing 2.3.6 only
how should i go about fixing this??

If you are still on GB. Reboot into recovery and factory reset.

I cant get into recovery for some odd reason even tho the 2.3.6 is a rooted rom

GB is safe. Do not worry. Perform factory reset.

Ok ive got through to the phone successfully but i want to be on 2.3.5..
When i downloaded KK4 i only had the single rom file in there.. is this all i need to flash to get it on 2.3.5?

Let me make it a little clearer.. i have downloaded KK4 from samfirmware.. within the zip i just see the rom file.. is this all i need to flash to get on to 2.3.5? Or do i need to add a couple other files in odin also?

Put it in PDA.
Do not select bootloader update, PIT, Flash Lock or efc clear option.

Best CM10 ROM?

Can anyone and everyone care to tell what they think is the best CM10 ROM right now...and most recent or recently updated....I checked out a bunch from TeamAndroid and I can't tell the differences....just different numbers loo....thanks!

I think 4.1.1 jb ROM maple syrup,droidbasement, and per shoot have the best ROM . Everything works with the exception of ff camera. Super fast and smooth and a world of experience to guide you on any fixes. Updates and nightlies

I have completed a system backup (Nandroid and Titanium and Cheetah sync) and am now ready to install Paranoid Android, however I have a few questions, before I dive into this.

this problem has been solved .u just have to flash ota 2 and then ota 3.use your ota updater to check for updates.if u cant update through ota download the two ota`s from jellyblast thread.put them in sdcard wipe the cache and dalvik cache(inside advanced) and than flash ota 2 and ota 3 one by one from cmw. press thanks plz if i help.

yes just download ota2 and 3 from ota updater
if u get error go to this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1679563 and download the zip file of ota 2 and 3 and flash it via CWM

its not the problem with jellyblast v3.0.3....it has been solved..
even if u update with ota3 the problem will b there with some apps...like xda app
its the problem of apps not rom....

Nexus 7 4.2 OTA update error

I always encounter this problem when updating through OTA, mine is stock and rooted, how can I solve this without wiping all my data guys, thanks a lot !

It seems you have CWM or some such installed over the stock recovery, just flash the recovery to stock or use CWM and flash to 4.2.1 that way

Have you manually altered any system files or manually installed or overwritten a system app? That gives me the same error.

I take it when you originally flashed to CWM, you never backed up your stock recovery? If not then you can flash back to stock with the "nakasig" image from here - https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#nakasig scroll down to Nexus 7.

Same problem but not rooted
I got the same problem aswell. Altough i did never root my Nexus 7. I got this error as fast as i wanted to update the device. i have tried to push the update to it via the computer via android sdk (Manual update) It wont work. I get the error following "Assert failed: apply_patch_check (emmc:/Dev/block/platform/sdhci-tegra.3/by_name/lynx 500736" and so on. The version is "JZO54K". The Nexus 7 model is a 32 gb WIFI version. Any solution?
