Hy All,
in the dev section i was just searching for one of my favourites: paranoidandroid ... i downloaded v1.9.2a yesterday and wanted to check for updates now... and i am missing the whole threat! has anybody any idea what happent to it?
another thing: does anyone know where i can set the "force widget scaling" option in this new version?

If that's the jellybean one I think it was removed by the mods as he stole someone else's work and passed it off as his own.

Hi!
I was wondering if there is any way i can replace my lockscreen?
i am not interested in downloading apps from market to use as replacement since i already tried it and i think it sucks since it places itself over the normal lockscreen.
Shouldn't it be possible to get a new lockscreen onto my legend using the ordinary "flashing-method" ? (installing a .zip-file i mean)
The lockscreen i want is the froyo or similar.

OKay before you guys blast me im confused; some post say have a rooted phone to do this in this section, yet other say mt4g is not rooted yet? which is it?
i just switch from iphone and im lost here. if rotted can i get a link to a tut for total newbs? and how in the hell do i change that damn touchtone/typing sound ?
a picture/screenshot friendly tut would rock!

If it's 2.2.1 then you've received the OTA package (or it came pre-installed.) If not, there are a lot of resources on forcing OTA in the Android Development subforum here. You'll find pretty much everything you need to know about rooting your MT4G there

Hi all, I have recently flashed my tab with Overcome 1.20 rom (Love it) but it doesn’t include the 'Samsungs Apps' which came with the phone, is there a way to get this back without reflashing?
P.S where would i get games that are meant for the tab that are full screen? android market hasnt really offered much, or i havent been looking in the right places.

I too am in the same situation after flashing with Roto JMIv2. Would never go back, but wouldn't mind some of the Samsung apps which are no longer available. I had about 20 something to choose from, now there is only 2. I'm guessing it's region based, so there must be way of tricking the Samsung app store. Anyone know how to get around this issue?

theres got to be away around this!..I dont want to revert back to the stock rom maybe theres a Sansumg App.apk we could install or ADB it?
I'm going to bump this thread as I figure someone out there knows the solution to this but is not sharing. There are people asking this question in the dev forums as well. I'd post there, but I'm "not allowed" till I fill this forum up with some crap first.

Well, Samsung Apps IS actually included with the ROM, I am guessing maybe something went wrong? I would suggest a complete wipe and do a full Install, see how it goes.
I can assure you however that Samsung Apps is definitely included.
Im using overcome 1.2 and it has the Samsung apps with no problems.

Hi there,
I couldnt seem to find it, knowing me it was probably there but i must of been blind...anywho i managed to download the Samsungapps.apk so all is okay agen...ALTHO! the ASPHALT 5 HD on the samsungapps doesnt play at FULL SCREEN, cant seem to find a version that does! ...the spares part trick doesnt does seem to work...ahh well nevermind

Hi, I have also flashed my tab with Overcome 1.20 rom. It's a nice ROM !
I face two problems:
- there is no multi-CSC locale languages (need greek)
- how can I go back from EXT4 to RFS backup (rotoJMI v2)

just happened today.
theme is generally ok but says it isn't complete and notifications
aren't themed.
I've tried it 4 times now so not just missing this section.
it previews ok online.
anyone else having same?
