Messaging Bug

Has anyone else found the messaging app to be extremly buggy? I have the stock ATT rom and haven't made any major mods to it. It's constantly freezing, the text input field is always hidden, etc. Is there a fix somewhere? At this point I'm even willing to pay for an app, but I can't find any. SMS chat doesnt work with 6.5.

I'm inexperienced with custom ROMs, but I think its a 50/50 chance. Give it a shot and if it doesn't work you can simply unistall it. Everything will be like before. That's the beauty of CABs.

did you get the error before installation? if so, my guess is htc put in a check to see what rom ur running so the fix cant install on another device. maybe a good dev here can decompile the cab and remove the check/block.

cannot d/l from htc site....

Just got around to installing this. My messaging app wasn't giving me much trouble prior to now, so i just installed it. It froze right when I opened the first message and backed out. Just tried again and it froze again. Way to go HTC.

Im just looking at the actual file. I was under the impression that it was a cab. my mistake.

[Q] That themes to use with Sense2 ROMs? Desire or DesireHD?

I'm confused a bit. Please, can somebody explain, if I use Sense2 ROM for my Desire (CoolHD or RCMixHD, for example), what themes should I look for and where? Here, in this forum, or in DesireHD's "Themes and Apps"?
And how to decide which one should work with ROM I use (besides installing it + doing nandroid restore after next bootloop )

Well i no that carbonara wrks on rcmxhd so just do nandroid backups try flash if it doesnt wrk jus boot recovery and reinstall backup i recomend pcb carbon ara awezome theme

Normally every theme should work.
You can search in ''Themes and Apps'' for themes or in ''Development''.
I'm using ReflexTSense HD 1.8 right now and every theme I installed works like a charm.
But dont forget, if you found a great theme, male sure it'll working with the rom u're using by posting in the theard.

theme for Thor_Rom V14.2

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but with a quick search, I couldn't find an answer. Does anyone suggest a theme for Thors V14.2 rom? I saw themes for his galaxy rom, but nothing for the one I'm running. I apologize if i completely missed it. TIA!

I did search a little bit and found yours, but i just didnt want yours...no offense. Its ok, but not what i want. Thanks anyway.
Edit: ok I installed your theme, but i cant really see a difference from the original thor rom... maybe i got a bad install, I'll give it another shot.
Edit: ok got it..... bad flash the first time...I'll try it out for a few days and see.

Ok no problem mate if you look good you can see that the status bar is not the same, the fonts are different, average 70% are changed and more ^^
Tell me what do you search or want as theme ?

in the dev section i was just searching for one of my favourites: paranoidandroid ... i downloaded v1.9.2a yesterday and wanted to check for updates now... and i am missing the whole threat! has anybody any idea what happent to it?
another thing: does anyone know where i can set the "force widget scaling" option in this new version?

If that's the jellybean one I think it was removed by the mods as he stole someone else's work and passed it off as his own.

The known issues list is not updated. I'm running CM10 for a week now and i noticed only the following:
-camera can't save pictures on external card
-direct dial/messaging in lock screen not working
The rest is working great and I am very happy with it, especially after installing also the SuperLauncher+ and inverted apps (thanks to mnazin).
Bottom line: install it and you'll never look back
