Problem with ROM Manager

Hello, I'm new to android and I want to install a ROM on my galaxy S2. I'm trying the rom manager but will not let me, I have the recovery 3e and get a signature verification problem. How I can fix it?. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for the help, recovery and restart in cwm (orange letters). Now to try some rom. I have a special curiosity for CyanogenMod 7 ....¿ This all works well?. Can I get the rom originalm?. Excuse my ignorance, I am a rookie.

What kernel are you using with lpy?

Just wondered what kernel people are using with lpy. I want to start flashing some theme zips etc but dont wanna brick. Are there any that work? And are they safe to flash zips etc

if u wanna risk the superbrick .. go ahead ... it doesnt matter what kernel u are using ... cwm flashing either wipe or install zip is not recommended at all

Isnt that just with the leaked/lpy kernels? I thought the ones written from source were safe?

u need to flash CF XXLPY kernel to get root and access to recovery mode right?

thats the way i achieve root from stock GB normally ... & LPY as well

Might flash the dafuq through pc odin then an see how it goes. Starting to annoy me not bein able to flash stuff lol

Tempory cwm - you have to flash the cwm zip each time you enter stock recovery
Perminant cwm - cwm is built into the kernel and replaces stock recovery as the default recovery
please use google for these type of questions as you will find it alot quicker and more information

I have ported an paranoid ROM to my l7. The Problem: It won't Boot up, so I need a kernel for this ROM.
So could somebody help me making this kernel?
Paranoid Version: 3.10 (4.2.2)

hello,, u can use the Kernal for the base rom, just extract and combine it to ur port rom using kitchen

ok i have tryed it with the base cm10.1 kernel but it wont work.
is there any tut for doing this with the android kitchen?

ur using a 4.2 rom,their are may roms avaliable in the forum,,you can extract a kernal from them ,did u replace the boot image fully or the specific kernal?

dude u just need to clear the dalvik cache and then ur rom will start!! :good:

All the custom roms don't have a bootloader. Just flash away.

I have been reading that users are having wifi problems when flashing new bootloader roms on old bootloader devices? Just ensuring :-S

If you flash a custom rom true the recovery, then nothing can go wrong. Just make a nandroid backup in case it doesn't work and you want to go back.
