Tempory cwm - you have to flash the cwm zip each time you enter stock recovery
Perminant cwm - cwm is built into the kernel and replaces stock recovery as the default recovery
please use google for these type of questions as you will find it alot quicker and more information

Yes,,, but ever try with custom rom and keep doing the same....
Whenever I flash job soft keys on jellyblast. V3 using merruk kernel I do not get any virtual app in the app drawer.....can anyone help me?

its a flashable zip file......hw will cwm identify it if its a system app it shud be in the root of sd

There is a script named updater script in flashable.zip/meta-inf/com/google/android/ which tells cwm what to do

just go into cwn and go to backup and restore from there backup your phone

Look for your downloaded package of Cod Rom zip.
1. Go to,"system/framework" and look for framework-res.apk.
2. Copy and replace the framework-res inside detranspatch.zip.
3. Copy "detranspatch.zip" in SD root. Flash it!
Finally, It should work.
Tell me if you didnt get the instruction and ill make it more clearer.

Try to copy framework-res from Rom to patch, or just install ROM again

BTW, do you have 7Zip installed in your PC? If you don't, visit http://www.7-zip.org/
Then, download and install it.
After that follow these steps.
1. Find and open framework-res.apk in detranspatch.zip using 7zip and delete it.
2. Go to CoD rom package zip then find framework-res.apk and drag it to detranspatch.zip
3. Place detranspatch.zip to SD card root.
4. Flash it. Now you're done.
Please read the instruction well, im sure you will get it.
Its so simple!.just go to recovery mode and do wipe data/factory reset..and its all done!

No, brother. It will not restore the original framework-res.apk if you just do wipe data/factory reset. The original framework from CoD package must be reflashed. Data wipe will not help.

Search Clockwork mod site for compatible recovery for your phone.. Or make your own with your stock recovery by uploading it in CWM recovery builder site.. just google it for more info.. surely that will help you... If the recovery builder fails aditionaly u may need to upload your recovery.fstab file also..

The status 7 error fix
YOU SHOULD ALREADY HAVE PREVIOUS CWM FLASHED BEFORE FLASHING THIS.

Download this file of CWM and flash rom with this version of CWM and status 7 error wont show up.
You will have to flash this file using ODIN (in PDA)
