searching for German ROM with working GPS

Hi, I'm searching for German ROM with working GPS.
Or is it possible to change the language of the french orange ROM into german?

yes there is a way .. i also saw a post describing how to do that... has to do with replacing the language files (dutch for instance is 413 but i dont know which numbers french and german are) you should use the search function!
then you can probably do it yourself. good luck

i´m new an bevor i´ll say to all hallo. i´m searching a long time for an gernam rom 6.1 for the rharos, but nobody have one.
Can anyboby help all the people an me?

wie Ihr seht, bin ich neu hier aber auf Empfehlung zu euch gestoßen. Nun suche ich seit langem ein deutsches Rom 6.1 für den Pharos, das einzige was ich gefunden habe war das orig. Rom in deutsch, aber das funktioniert und auch das flashen ging gut.
Vielleicht kann jemand, der einen kennt, der einen kennt, so ein rom einstellen oder vermitteln, wie ich gesehen habe, bin ich auch nicht der einzige, der ein deutsches Rom sucht.
Alternativ würde ich auch ein englisches nehmen, wenn dieses gut ist, vielleicht kann ja einer was empfehlen - in der hinsicht bin ich noch ein DAU...

I have the UK Version of Vodafone but it dosnt work on the German HD2 from Vodafone !

Hi Rifat,
I'm using HTC HD2 with its original ROM and wanna burn the WWE version 1.66.
I've just seen your post and want to know from you if there is any problem in changing the ROM version because you said that you want to send it to support service or something like that.
I'm trying to find the original Vodafone ROM but no results till now and there is a German Forum and one person from the vodafone service said that the new version would be released in KW 12.
My question is there any problem upgrading my phone's ROM to another one like WWE???

So leid mir das auch tut.... ich hab vodafone hd2... und brauch das auch irgendwann wegen garantie...
und ich weis wie scheisse das ist... wenn mann nicht zurückschiken kann wegen soner scheisse....
aber es gibt noch keine vodafone rom... die UK version gibts ja... aber ne deutsche noch nicht...
die original die auf dem telefon ist... die gibts aber nirgendswo zum download...
und die 1.66 vodafone germany, die bald verfügbar sein wird... wie er schon gesagt hat, KW12...

i have the same prop is there nobody who is able to extract the german vodafone Rom from his phone and load it up......I would also make my rapidshare account available for this.

Try and download a ROM off the site. If you can, you don't need to Vodafone ROM as you get it from HTC directly. You can then download this and reflash your phone to get the normal German ROM back on.

I have tried this but it says !
For this vodafone HTC its no Update avalable

Also ich habe seit ca 1 Woche das HD2 !
Mein Problem ist das mein Akku warscheinlich defekt. Ich vermute mal oder liegt es an der Software !
Bei den ersten 3 Ladezyklen war alles ganz normal Ladedauer ca 2 stunden LED Orange dann Grün für akku voll !
Da hielt er auch ca 1 1/2 tage je nach anwendung .
Aber seit gestern das problem, hatte leider mein Ladegerät nicht mit musste es am Laptop mit einem Micro Usb kabel von Nokia Anschliesen
und aufladen das komische war das es nach ca 30 minuten grün leuchtete und den akku als voll anzeigte !
daraufhin hielt er gerade mal 3-4 Stunden ohne viel gebrauch !
Ab nach hause von der Arbeit ans original Ladegerät angeschlossen 3 stunden laden lassen kontroll leuchte wieder nach ca 30 min grün
schon voll kann nicht sein weiter angesteckt gelassen so das es mindesten 3 angeschlossen war .
um 0 uhr miternachts abgeschlossen in der früh um 8 uhr kein weckton siehe da Akku wieder leer .
In der arbeit wieder ans ladegerät selbe Problem wieder 30-45 min am stecker LED grün
Also irgendwas stimmt da nicht entweder akku oder Software .
Habe schon verschiedene Roms versucht problem besteht weiterhin !
Weis einer einen Rat ! Oder muss das Teil zur Garantie !

Benutz mein WM6.5.x RC5 da hast du keine Probs mit WLAN...
PS: Hier wird nur in english geschrieben also stell deine Frage auch auf english!!!!

Hallo, ich bräuchte Hilfe in Deutsch bzgl. Android Installation

ich möchte gerne die [27.MAR][CWM] NexusHD2-Gingerbread V2.5 [Android2.3.3][Kernel: tytung_r8.3] ROM installieren.
Habe momentan die Artemis winmo Rom installiert und starte Androids nur von der SD. Will nun richtig umsteigen.
HSPL flashen ist kein Problem, hab zwar noch SPPL installiert, wegen Artemis aber das ist ja nix wo man falsch machen kann.
Jetzt will ich aber mein Handy nicht bricken und möchte wissen,
wie ich diesen MAGLDR 1.13 bootmanager installieren.
Also einfach die .exe starten ist klar, nur wie ist das mit den Roms. Muss die 10ner radio rom rauf, weil ich schon viel negatives bzgl. dem Akkuverbrauch gehört habe. Es steht bei MAGLDR 1.13 es muss eine 512 MB rom sein, was ja nur die neuste wäre.
Wie sieht es danach aus mit den Partitionen die ich erstellen muss aus.

Windows Mobile Rom 6.1 ENG translate in GER

Hey Guys,
I need a german 6.1 rom for the HTC Magician.
I don't find any so i wan't to translate a ENG Rom in GERMAN.
Can anybody say me how can i do it?

ich hatte eine German cab Datei, die ich einfach nur installieren musste, nachhr musste man noch einen Eintrag in der Registrie machen und alles war in deutsch!
Leider hatte ich das Gerät verkauft und nun wieder neu eingekauft und die Dateien sind weg. Sollte einer die deutsche cab haben für wm5 oder 6 Bitte Melde Dich

this is not realy a German Translation for that ....
This is a German T9 Language File but you need the "MasterApp" too to use that File
I have today Post a Link with Manila 2d you can Translate your Phone to German (Homescreen only) "aber ich denke das reicht "

Also ich hatte mal eine German Cab, die alles in deutsch umgewandelt hat, leider ist die abhanden gekommen.
Problem ist, das man nicht einfach so eine cab nehmen kann denn die deutschen Programme (Player IE etc.) müssen zuerst in deutsch auf das Gerät kopiert werden, dann müssen die ORdner umbenannt werden bsp.
Program Files = Programme
wenn man das nicht macht und die cab installiert, wird das Gerät am Ende nicht mehr booten und muß neu geflasht werden.
Ich hatte es einmal geschafft und die Rom komplett in deutsch, leider das Gerät abgegeben und RomBackup gelöscht :S
Es ist machbar nur muß man sich die Dateien aus einem deutschen Rom kopieren. Am einfachsten wäre es, wenn man ein Gerät mit deutscher Rom hätte, dann einfach die ORdner umbenennen und Dateien kopieren.
Anschließend die German Lang cab drauf und die Registry von 1013 auf 407 ändern XD
Wer Bock drauf hat, Bitte das Rom Hochladen XD
Da ich ein iPhone habe, habe ich z.Zt kein großes Interesse daran mir die Mühe zu machen, bin aber gerne bereit zu helfen.
