I am trying to setup my team in the options menu on Google Now but it won't let me. When I try to click on Edit team it doesn't do anything, is just faded Gray.
Does someone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advanced

Do a Google Now search for your favorite team. It will be added automatically.

Hi all
Ive just started to make apps using the app inventor and have done all of the tutorials but cant seem to work out how to set a background for the app, i have tried setting an image for the main screen but as soon as i put a button on it, it creates a white banner :/
Any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks, Mitch
P.s. Sorry if this is in the wrong section

I think general android development section would be better, or general android q&a

I'm curious to see how the Google Docs (Drive) app looks on this device.
So far I've been less than impressed with editing spreadsheets via Google Docs on my Android device so far...
Anyone seen any videos of this? YouTube searches turned up nothing.
Thanks!
I hate editing Google Drive spreadsheets on my SGS2. It feels so primitive and lags very often. This is definitely an issue that I hope does not persist in Jelly Bean on the N7.

I see my thread is in the Q&A section, so I guess a 'Thanks' is owed for moving it... If you didn't move it, well then, it was already in the Q&A section ...
Here is a screenshot of the Google Drive UI editing a doc

Works ok with bluetooth keyboard!
For me, it sucks. The desktop view through Drive is better though. But really...what can we expect from a spreadsheet on a mobile device?

This might be the wrong section but I put a few videos on my google drive and tried playing them on my N7 and I get an error message. Anybody know how I can fix this or can't it be fixed? Thanks

They really need to add search to the xda app.
I searched from chrome and Google but didn't find this, although logic tells me is been asked and answered before.
When I open Google+ and click on a posted video, I get a box asking if I want to open it with Google+ or chrome.
My mom's Nexus 7 just goes ahead and opens it with chrome. She may have previously selected chrome at some point (thought I have my doubts that she would select"always"). I want to change hers to open with Google+, but I can't find anything under settings.
My Nexus is rooted but hers isn't, though I don't see how that would make any difference.

Go to system Settings, Apps, Chrome, and clear defaults.
Thanks. Seems to have worked.
Sorry if that had been asked a few dozen times.

For the life of me I can't figure out how to star an item in Google map on this device.I don't see a star located anywhere on the interface except as a possible layer.
good point..
You'll find it in the settings tab.

I feel like that is an incredibly convoluted way to add a star. However, thank you for the help and showing me where it is.
I typically just long press where I want to star, and open the pop up, there's a star to check in the box.

Is there a setting or limitation to certain locations that can be starred? Or a sequence that needs to be followed because I tried selecting a location then clicking on the 3 vertical dots but do not see the Add Star option. Thanks.

By the way, I did a search for Virginia and the ability to add the star shows up without having to go into the settings or 3 vertical dots menu. This is quite odd and inconsistent behavior correct?

Ok I figured it out. Looks like you need to use the Clear Map function sometimes then click on the location you want to get the Add Star option to appear.

"Ok, Google" doesn't work for me.. When I go to Settings > Voice, I don't have offline speech recognition option.. Will it work outside of USA?
tnx it works great for me, everything works now, even speech search, and I'm using an optimus 2x droid 4.3 :good:
Camera isnnt working
After flashing the GoogleHomeV2 on my Nexus 4 by recovery, the google search kept reporting error afterwards. After install the Google Search and Play Services and clearing all the default settings of luanchers, it went back to normal. However, the original factory camera app was gone, and i had to use a third party camera app instead.
Thank you for uploading the launcher and hope that this bug could be fixed soon.
