guys i got the jellybean system dump from sdk can someone tell me how to port

test

Sdk? Last time someone tried to do sdk port they failed bad (Mike) just wait for the source Porting the Gnex system%2pdump would be even harder due to the fact that this phone is mdpi

we haven't boot and in other porting, boot.img is 8 MB and in GT540 boot partition is 5MB

so... i took META-INF, SYSTEM AND BOOT.IMG... i erased all apps that deal the system partiton, i changed the build.prop with GT540 build.prop... then i rezip the rom and i tryed and prayed....

so i tryed to port GNEXUS on GT540 unsuccessfully, now i'm trying to port the ONE X port, because its boot.img is 4MB, so good for GT540

now i'm trying to change boot.img JB with PARANOIDANDROID boot.img ics...

Ok meta-inf is "rom" specific it tells the recovery what to do, eg. write the system folder to here and here, set perms etc etc. It changes from rom to rom phone to phone. So when you change something in the rom zip like build.prop or apps the updater-script is not changed but the files inside the zip are(something like the md5 when you make a nandroid backup). And about the direct porting of HOX and Gnex roms. 2 major issues They have 1280x720 resolution screens so the imgs are wrong. Another thing, cpu.
Gt540 ArmV6
HOX, Gnex ArmV7
To get the Meta-inf, status 0 fixed you guys should try out dsixda's kitchen. It will unzip and rom zip and from there you can do lots of things to it (there is even a porting option) after adding and removing files it can help you recompile the zip and create a meta-inf folder with the right updater-script.

folow the instruction, enable usb debugging and oem unlock, after you flashed the file, restart it one more time. then check the root with root checker mate.

Who is Using what Custom Lineages Based OS?

I'm trying to get a grasp on how many Zenfone 3 ZE552KL/ZE520KL Users there are using custom roms? Please Feel free to fill out the poll so I can see who is using what.

There should be an option for stock ROM. I'm on stock and currently not planning to flash another ROM.

Thanks for the feedback. I have updated the title to make it less ambiguous. I only maintain custom roms which is really my interest. If you like stock that is fine by me.

We/they cant vote RR because its not like viper and los that can use as daily driver ithink if you dev. It Too i will use RR thanks to everything bro GODBLESS

RR has alot of errors like System.UI error messages. And the hardware recent app key doesnt work, althrough there is a vibation when I press the key.

On Rr too

Asus app takes picture good, but video is terrible

We need to Wait on our dev

In my opinion, ZenUI is an ugly UI and the battery life is better with a clean AOSP rom without useless asus bloatware.
When you came from Nexus rom before 4 years, it's hard to stay with ZenUI...

After install Asus flashlight to activate the flash for the first time, flashlight in QS started working!!

Latest security patch for all rom please hahahaha... Because i will share it to ze552kl fb group thanks dev...

Just copy any lib and apk manually. When you make the camera works, do make a script later.

Increase performance?

Hi there i use this phone to play games when i'm not at home...and i was wondering if someone knows any mod or any way to increase peformance(and battery if possible ) of this phone (i've already flashed the OC kernel and i'm running LOS13).
Edit:Currently i'm using L speed....it seems that's the only one which is still being updated
Edit 2: If someone wants to use a script there are two magisk modules that runs well...LKT(legendary kernel tweaks) and NSF injector

Little update : the project "FeraDroidEngine" on xda is back!
It is a AIO flashable zip, now is magisk compatible and supports recent versions of android...seems promising!
