Hi team,
I dropped my Blade in water and the touch screen is not responding after that, is there any way I can get it fixed, if not how can I can I get the stock ROM back without the touch screen as I am not able to enter the CWM screen also. If I get back the stock ROM I can try my luck with the service center to get it replaced.
Regards
UK
Why can't u get to cwm?
Just press volume- and then power while the phone is off
Even that is not working, I have backup copy with my stock rom but since I an not able to get into CWM I am not able to restore it...

If you send it to center, make it sock: if you have a stock gen1 blade use a stock tpt layout ( you will have a recovery ) and flash a stock rom

is that a custom kernel?where did he get that?tell me...is it work?
btw, youre a senior member. please don't be a bad example for newer member here. please put your answer in faq section next time. to root your sons device, you may use super one click from shortfuse if you can't get into recovery nor odin mode.

@clauss: tell me...where did your son got that kernel. we're developing a new kernel for SGY at this moment. that kernel could be helpfull for us.

Hey,
Thanks to this amazing forum, to replace the Galaxy S2 I soft-bricked (for sale if anyone interested pm me), I bought an HTC HD2 and managed to get HyperDroid onto it, it's been fantastic for the past couple of months however now I have an S3 and I'm trying to reset it or flash a new rom onto it.
If I hold the power button and choose reboot into recovery, it just reboots normally into hyperdoid.
When I went into ROM manager, I think it may of said there wasn't a CWM Recovery, anyway I told it to flash latest 3.1 and it is now saying that it is installed.
If I tell it to reboot into recovery via ROM manager same thing happens, boots like normal.
I just can't damn well get into recovery
Any help pretty please.
Howard
That's normal issue if you are using MAGLDR.
Shut off the phone and turn it on holding on the power key till You're in MAGLDR. Then choose 8 AD Recovery.
Wahey, thank you. However when I choose that it's saying error cannot load ramdisk image, any ideas?

What partition size did you flash? Did you make sure that the ROM you flashed required the same or a smaller partition size than you flashed?
My phone might be bricked. After many failed attempts to flash a custom rom (I really believe there is a hardware problem since I am a flashaholic since 2009), I managed to flash stock recovery (using cwm 6) so that I could go back to bootloader and flash original ZTE rom.
Now, I can boot to stock recovery, but not to the bootloader.
When pressing Vol+ with Power, instead of going to FTM mode, it shows a white screen with ZTE logo and then reboots back to recovery.
Unfortunately, /system is corrupt with no working rom.
Any ideas?

It's a while back to remember exactly but I think my Blade had a hardware problem with it's internal storage. It just worked after doing the steps correctly after a while and then it went back to be replaced....!
What problems are you having?

Same as you, can't launch into FTM mode, just to stock CMW mode and can't install any ROM.

Hi there,
I have been running my TF101 rooted with TWRP recovery and Rayman's JB rom. I wanted to revert to a stock rom and tried this earlier today by flashing the stock ASUS ICS image zip from TWRP. I used the Version V9.2.1.27(WW) file which I am 100% sure is correct for my hardware.
This appeared to complete the install okay, but has left me with a system that won't boot and just sits at the ASUS boot screen with the spinning circle below the logo.
If I power up with the volume button down held I now don't have TWRP recovery and get the Android on its back screen. I've tried powering on with volume held up and have chosen the cold boot option but that is no different.
I have seen the easyflasher tool and thought that might help, but I am on OSX and Ubuntu without a Win 7 machine accessible!
Please can anyone point me in the direction of a solution? I have a backup file that I could restore if I could get back to having TWRP / CWM available
Sorry for a classic newbie question...
Thanks
Dont think you can install Original Firmware through Twrp or CMW... you need to be in APX mode to flash Org Firmware...

If your using the USA version the WW version is NOT going to work and will cause this exact issue. Also is yours with the 3G capability or not?

To enter into recovery it is Power + Volume Down, then when the tiny text shows up it's volume up.

I would find a way to get to either machine and use Easyflasher, that worked for me when I installed the WW version on my TF101 US Variant.

Hi,
Okay problem solved, but I'm not sure how. I originally left the machine with the spinning circle for a couple of hours. Later in the day I did a cold boot and after 5 mins it boted into the stock ICS.
Thanks for the suggestions and help!
Well this is my first post here.I flashed cm 14.1 on my devices with gapps through twrp.I managed to get to recovery with the adb drivers (as I mentioned I have a broken button so pressing Volume Down+Power+Home won't work).Everything was ok but due to the critical bugs of this rom (was still in development) I decided to downgrade to cm 13 which had less bugs.So I tried getting into recovery but everytime I gave the command in it would reboot to the system (not even in stock recovery). So I decided to flash the stock rom with odin and then try entering recovery mode. After flashing I actually realised that I f*cked up cuz I couldn't wipe the system data/davik cache, due to the fact that my home button is broken and so i cant access my stock recovery. Now my device is in bootloop...I already have a usb jig and it will just make it boot into download mode where i cant really do much.Any help would be appreciated.
