Hi all,
Does anyone know what the stock video app is called. I've extracted the entire app file from system but can't fathom which it is!
Anyone know?
Thanks!

1. I don't think there's a way to do that. If there is, I've never found it and I looked.
2. No. That is a feature of Touchwiz 3.0. Not only do we not have a shortcut but the stock one we have does not save where you were in the video so you have to start over every time.
3. Not yet. Keep watching the dev boards.
1. Switch browsers... dolphin hd is very nice, allows full screen use and pinch to zoom

Can somebody please post the. Apk file for the music player from the galaxy tab so i can install it on my galaxy s : ) thx
Like this?
Thanks : )
: ( it seems there is no way to launch this app on my sgs any suggestions....
Buy a SGT.
Download Meridian Player. I think its a much better player than the stock one. Allows you to delete music while you are listening to them. It is also a video player too.
Galaxy Tab Music Player
hi, guys.
I have a SGT. how can I extract the music player app to use it on my HTC Desire?
Has anyone tried Samsung Link. Is it any good? I am particularly interested in the phone/pc transfers. When you back up your photos/video to your PC, are they compressed? How is the speed and are there any limitations on what Samsung Link can do? I am very interested to see if I can stream FLAC audio files.
Has anyone tried this feature?

well i find samsung link very annoying. try serviio (http://www.serviio.org/) and serviigo
I'm using on my S2. It was previously called Allshare Play. It's pretty easy to transfer your photos and videos over wifi. I use it all the time. I'm too lazy to connect with a cable, hahaha.

It seems that it only supports media files. Is that correct? Samsung Link supports any type of file and also has a feature to automatically upload pictures and videos to your computer. Can serviio do that? And it seems that I will have to pay extra money to use this service. Samsung link also has the ability to choose where to save the files, can serviio do this? Can serviio allow me to upload files from my phone to my computer over 3g/4g? It seems that serviigo can only play media using their media player. Is this correct?
Can anyone actually try Samsung link and tell me how it works and how well it works?
Thanks
I use Samsung link. It is very good and useful. I can access my registered devices (my laptop, desktopPL and even my old SGS3) over 3G. I play movies or songs stored on my laptop over the 3g using Samsung link....

You could go into'my files' and share from there. That's how I share things Most of the time. If not hopefully someone will port it.

Actually any file explorer would do this but no need for that if we can do it directly from the Music player .

it is not going upwards or downwards , it is some thing that was very useful in the prior version and it is gone in the updated version and to me the share option on the music player is so useful because you can share any file directly from there via bluetooth , whatsapp , etc ...
I hope that someone with experience in modding will do that ....
it seems that no one is interested in the share option inside the music player !!!!
these are 2 screenshots for the S3 music player and for the S4 music player to show the missing Share via on the new S4 music player .
anyone can port the S3 music player and mod it to work on the S4 would be really appreciated .
thanks in advance
please see the attachment for differrence between both S3 and S4 Music
up for an answer
Bad move Samsung
This feature was really useful but i guess Samsung is trying to play the nasty game
Good Morning,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S10+ which has a snapdragon processor. I would like to know how would I be able to convert into an mp3 player, along the lines of the Galaxy Player 5.0. Would there be a way to disable the phone feature?

Interesting idea ... removing SIM card is not enough?
What exactly do you want to disable or remove?
If it's about system apps, you will need to root your device.
