CM10 Jelly Bean (Help!) - Acer Iconia A500

Would someone help me? I just installed CM10 Jelly bean for Iconia A500 and flashed the corresponding GApss right after. Now I'm stuck on Acer logo and can't go to recovery. Help.

Did you upgrade to the unlocked ICS bootloader first?

Try nvflash, go to the acer a500 development fourm, then search for the rollback from ics thread, read the instructions... you might be able to do it, i'm not too sure, do you have your sbk ? Or your cpuid ?

Can u boot into recovery?
Do u have your backup in CWM?
Restore backup and try again after confirming you have the right bootloader.
Also which gapps did you flash? July 26th or any older one?

1. Try asking in the correct JB discussion thread in General. Waydownsouth monitor's that thread so you're more likely to get help relating to his ROM, there.
2. You almost certainly haven't installed the unlocked ICS bootloader. This is a mandatory requirement for CM10. Instructions for this can be found in the dev section.

Read this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18503406 to root your tablet then install ROM of your choice.
I would suggest reading all instructions through at least twice.

Hi mate
Can you get into recovery mode to flash another rom ? If not follow one of the rooting guilds in the android dev forums. I had loads of trouble rooting my note and getting everything to work. Don't worry I was in your situation and you can get out of it just have a look at all the rooting guides. In the end from what I remember I flashed via PC Odin a stock pre rooted version of ICS think it was the nordic version i then flashed the rom I wanted through recovery CWM
Hope this helps
Abyssnote is for GB, thats why u cant boot back into ICS. Suggest PC Odin and flash Stock ROM from here :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997 (try different ones of WIFI no-good) plus follow rooting instructions contained therein. If tar file, use Odin, if zip, use Abyss (Just reboot straight back into it)
PS: Dont flash or wipe on stock ICS or CF-Root- ICS Kernels.

Relax man. What is this aggression for?
-----
@op AbyssNote is for Gingerbread.
Use only ICS kernels on ICS not even CM9.
Flash stock ICS rom. Root it then flash SpeedMod or NoteCore kernel using HC K-Tool.
id suggest he revert back to stock rom and read a lot before doing any stunts with his phone.

Don't panic. Flash any ics kernel such as franco r6 or speedmod k3-6 by using "PC ODIN", then you will be fine.
Bear in mind, if u use pc odin to flash kernel u will get binary count increase and yellow triangle. But don't worry, you can use "move triangle" to reset the binary count to zero and remove the triangle.
Good luck.

this really should be in Q and A but if you're on the honeycomb bootloader just flash the 3.01 buggy.zip and you'll get an OTA updating you to ICS and ics bootloader...make sure to do all the wipes before

Maybe this guide can help you.
If you're wanting to flash any of the roms here on xda you MUST flash the unlocked bootloader first. There are guides in my sig or see the unlocked bootloader thread by civato which is stickied in the dev forum.

[SOLVED] Please Help A501 stuck at acer logo.

Hey guys maybe you heard this problem 100 thimes but its a kind of special because I have got CWM Recovery from thor2002ro.
I cant install any rom original or any other every time it stucks on acer logo....
I tried to format cache and Isearched in several theards but didnt found anyting.
First I tried to flash custom rom like in this video:
(HD) Root Your Acer Iconia A500/A501 from Honeycomb 3.2/3.2.1 Sry but i cant send links :/
I installt the 3.0.1 and i rooted my device sucessfully but after I installt the Little_Honey_3.2.2 my iconia stuck at the acer logo and didn't came out yet.
Please help i am lost without my tablet.
Honeycomb roms need to run on hc boot loader.
ICS Stock/OTA roms need ics stock bootloader
Custom ICS/JB xda roms require skrilax_cz unlocked bootloader v8 or v9.
You need to make sure you flash the correct recovery, rom and bootloader combination.
Read the root guide in my Sig for more info

Thank you for your help, I got the CPUID using Ubuntu, then installed Skrilaz's V8 Bootloader and flashed the Alexandra IV ROM.
