but the file is in the root of sd card
please help tnx in advanced more power xda =)
I think it's a apps2sd issue .... i read somewhere that you need to have free phone storage 2 times the application size to install it ... on native app2sd on android 2.3 roms there is no problem with larger files because you can install directly to the SD fat32 partition
hmmm better to use android 2.3?
but i have 140mb space in my phone storage and im going to install an 53mb size of apps but still it says free up some memory >.<
what is the better solution for it?
hello every one
i wanna ask if i can use A2SD to move my apps to sd-ext BUT...
not all my apps that i wanna move so here is what i wanna do:
install some apps to internal (so that they will not be in sd-ext)
flash A2SD zip
install apps (so that the apps that i installed after flashing the A2SD zip they will be on sd-ext) and keeping my first apps that i installed be fore flashing the A2SD zip to the phone memory
is it possible ???
use link2sd from market. You can select the apps there and even what goes to sdext (dalvic, app, appdata)
How can i expand my system storage? Because i want to instal chainfire 3d and it dont let me istall it , it says there are not enaught space in system.....
You can't expand the system partition. Do a full wipe (including system) and flash your ROM again, and this time save some space by not flashing mods, and using minimal gapps.
Or, for a quick solution you could delete certain system apps via root explorer

In to system folder and delete unnecessary ringtones or system apps
With this little information it's a wild guess but:
If your internal memory is full, maybe you can check the /data/tombstones directory because it can take up a few GiB's. If your phone is rooted and you have root explorer, you can delete them all. If not delete something so you can install root explorer.
hey guys. i need help
my GSY recently dont install any apps.
i thought that the apps dont compatible with my phones though i download armv6 version of the apps
i tried to reinstall some of my curently apps, it cant install either ?
what im i suppose to do ?
i dont really fancy doing a factory reset
Did your internal storage is near full? Try move your app to your SD Card.

There are a few reasons you would get app not installed
1- app not compatible with phone (eg armv7 only)
2- not enough internal storage (try cleaning cache either in cwm or with app cache cleaner playstore or clear data of an app that uses a large amount like twitter)
3- app already exists (some apps to upgrade or reinstall you have to remove previous version)
4- app can only be installed to system (use system app installer playstore)
thanks for your suggestion.
but i have a lot of memory left, about 300mb. cause i use amarullz script
i only install armv6 ported games. they say it 100% working. i hadnt installed them before either
I have Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and some time ago I installed successfully Hyperion 9 ROM. Then sometime later, an update has been released and following the instructions, I installed the update. After the reboot, the system showed that I had small space on internal memory. I tried everything to get some space but I couldn't do anything so I reinstalled Hyperion 9.1. When I installed the apps I had again the same problem. After deleting some apps, I have now 25 MB free space on internal memory but I cannot either install or update apps from Google Play Store.
Now the question. Can something be done to free space on the internal memory?
Note: Before and after the update, I had the same apps
Note: I have installed Link2SD and I have linked the apps to the external partition.
Note: Before the update, I had about 50MB free space
