Only Dual Shock 3 PS3 controller works with Sixaxis Controller, nothing else.

The normal sixxaxis controller works too. As for BT controllers there's an app called BT controller, which should work for other bluetooth controllers.

Pair NC with PS3?

Title says it all. Anyone have success pairing a nook color with a ps3 (over bluetooth)? I'd like to use BlueputDroid with it for a handy keyboard.

Yeah, well, I'll deal with that when the time comes. Right now I'm having trouble pairing them when I lean the NC against the side of the PS3. Anyone out there gotten farther than me?

LMAO Is it really 6 inches? I've been planning on doing this too so I could get rid of the 2nd keyboard but oh well. There goes that.

GTA III Questions

I searched the Nexus 7 General and Nexus 7 Q&A and I don't see these questions covered.
I just d/l'ed GTA III on my Nexus 7. It runs nice, but when in landscape, the button placement makes it impossible to use. As in, the game's buttons don't appear on the screen like they do in portrait. The picture is perfect, not cut off or anything. If it helps, I am rooted, and my DPI is stock.
I tried remapping the controls in the game's settings menu, but it would not let me drag any of the buttons from their standard placement.
Anyone have suggestions?
I just grabbed one of those Micro USB OTG Cables and am going to plug a ps3 controller right into the N7.
It worked well on my A500 but the n7 doesn't have a full size USB port obviously.

+1 to this ^^
I use a wired xbox controller through a port and it works fine, also bluetooth ps3 controllers work well. (sixaxis app)
I think there is a GTA 3 setting to move button placement, try that out.

Using Bluetooth mouse on Xoom

Is it possible to use a Bluetooth mouse on a Motorola Xoom II, although the Xoom hasn't got a cursor is it possible
Thanks

Not sure about a mouse but...
I have a Stingray that ran stock ICS 4.0.4 and now is rooted with CM 10.0.0 with JB 4.1.2.
For the last 2 years, I've used an "Apple Magic Trackpad" as a mouse. Finger movement on the Trackpad causes a blue "halo" to appear on the Xoom screen. I also use an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard.
Now, there may be other options but Apple was the only "Bluetooth" input devices when I was looking.

As long as it has anything above android 3.2 it should work.

you can enable pointer location in developer options too.
or even use Droidmote on your touchscreen phone and use that as a mousepad

Absolutely! Moto made their own even and they're really very good. You can buy just the keyboard and mouse together or they do a work and play kit that includes a dock with 3 USB ports, analogue audio out and mini HDMI plus your HDMI cable, a high power adaptor the keyboard and the mouse. The cursor appears once the mouse is active.
Good post. I forgot Moto had their own kit.

Miracast is awesume!

One reason I got this tablet was to try miracast. I picked up a Panasonic. Blue ray player that supports miracast. It was easy to configure and works great! I don't know why but was surprised that it sends the sound also.

Google is your friend:

Isn't this Miracast that requires the screen to be on all the time ?

Yes, it appears that the screen must be on to enable screen mirroring. That is OK for me. I have it on right now with my 50" plasma TV and using my bluetooth keyboard. I just use the tablet kind of like a mouse pad since I don't know how to naviigate to everything with the keyboard.

MHL to HDMI -Screen Cast

Hello. I know Samsung dropped support for MHL supposedly so people wanting to use their phones on their TVs could just buy Samsung TVs and cast their screens over using adapters. First of all, that's so lame, second of all there has to be another way to cast my phone on my 60inch (not a Samsung, a Sony) without having to hack a Chromecast or Fire adapter. With my Sony z3 I had a mhl cable, I could connect my Bluetooth controller and play NBA Jam on my TV. Does anyone else know another way to do this on the s7?

Why would you need to hack a chromecast?

It was poor sarcasm i guess. I didn't literally mean hack a chromcast....
The Chromecast app has native support for casting your entire phone screen to a Chromecast. As long as your internet connection is solid, there will be little to no lag. It was an experimental feature for a while, but has seen much refinement.
Also if you have a smart tv there almost always is a screen cast option just they all use different names for the method
