Hey, I'm playing a few games on my nexus 7 and I notice that N.O.V.A 3 and the dark knight rises are a bit jerky. You'd think with a Tegra 3 or 12 core gpu, that these wouldn't be a problem. There are no running apps in the background either. So has online else anyone else experienced this? Do you think it's because these games were just made compatable with the nexus 7 and optimisations will be made for the platform. I really hope so.

Not all their games run badly on our Nexus 7 though, I have Modern Combat 3 from the Play Store and it runs perfectly.
But having a HTC ONE X, I've known for a while the Gameloft games (the majority of them) have some big issues with our tegra 3.

Games only run as well as they are coded/optimized. Gameloft games are pretty, but optimized is not a word I would ever use.
Plus the games are rarely if ever updated.

Yep, Gameloft develop for all top devices, so optimisation goes a miss.
However, Modern Combat 3 looks great, and runs smooth on our Nexus 7

getting the nexus up to 1.6ghz helps a lot in batman. but spiderman still runs like a bag of ****.. shame really there both pretty good

Disable HW overlay helps in some games too. Most games were kinda choppy for me too until I checked that option in developer settings

I guess they will always run better on IOS devices because they are all the same, despite hardware speeds. Also modern combat probably runs well because it has been out longer, had more updates ect. They will have removed bugs and improved stability.

Apparently Sony, Gameloft, and MLG want to bring competitive(?) gaming to mobile devices. This "Xperia Mobile Gaming Arena" only supports Modern Combat 3 for the moment. From what I can see there are cash prices available.

Personally, this isn't my type of game, but I like to see Sony pushing the Xperia brand so aggresively. Hopefully we'll see more PS1 games and other cool stuff (PS Store) officially come to the US soon.

Does Modern Combat 3 work with a Bluetooth controller like a Dual Shock 3?
Always wanted to pick it up, just touchpads don't work on all games when using Cyanogenmod 7

I got it working with the PS3 controller using the Sixxaxis controller app. Took some configuring but seems to work pretty good. Haven't really had a chance to play it much. Was playing it on the iPad since it runs much better on there.

i prefare to play genses - sensoid - ps1 . n64 ... games , i never like gameloft 's games !

I just recently tried to download the new Dark Knight Rises game from the play store and it says that my device (GS3) is not compatible. I find it very odd that they would not include the GS3 with the launch of this game, it shows that some of my older devices actually are compatible, like my GS2 and HTC Sensation. Does anyone know why our phones are not compatible or included? And if it will be in the future? I was really looking forward to playing this game.
Not compatible for my Vzw GS3 either, or for that matter my asus infinity. Weird
I see a comment that says constantly crashes for my GS3, so they probably took it off the market for the GS3 until they come out with an update.

i got a hold of 1.0.5 and it crashes after launching.
This is what upsets me about android how can this game not support the newer phones I couldn't wait so I bought it for my ipad and weird thing is ipad version is less then 1gb in size.

you have to wake up and understand that there are more than one company who makes Android phones.
Tons of different specs like resolution of the display and different CPU/GPU.
Lots of games running on Windows still have problems related to GPU. Just read any driver's change log from ATI or Nvidia and you will understand.
And who really cares if you cant get the game the first week ??? Seriously...
I think it'll come out soon, when spiderman first came out,I tried to buy it ,said my device wasn't compatible, then after couple days I checked and it was available. I'm on the verizon network also.

It doesn't seem like a hardware issue if it's only with that one game. Do you have this problem with other apps?
If it persists, you might want to consider doing a factory restore/clean install of your rom.

I can't believe no one asked, it looks like graphical glitches you get from either a CPU/GPU over clock that's too high or an under volt that's too low.

I have a problem on my Galaxy S4 i9505...
Some of the games seems to look bad even on the highest graphics on my device.I mean just look at the screenshots(actually they look good in screen shoots because of the low resolution of them), they look 720p, and is not good looking on an 1080p screen. Any way to fix this? Thanks

If it's an original app, purchased from google play, write a review or e-mail gameloft!
If it's a cracked app, buy the original of try another one that works properly.
Not all cracked apps work great for any device.
You will not see any meaningful difference between 720p and 1080p on a 5 inch display. This is perhaps an issue with the optimizations with multiple devices. Cut the game some slack as it has only been released for a couple of days

You can change the graphics of asphalt 8 on asphalt 8 settings, display, change graphics from medium to high...

Thanks for reply, but i know that. I am already on the highest setting. It seems to be a resolution problem. I have emailed Gameloft about my problem. Hopefully they will fix that in a future update

I just noticed the option to emulate either psp1000 or 2/3000. I never messed with it, it may help compatibility on some games too. It's mainly trial and error with settings and isos and some games just won't work.
What Neo and Mame emus do you use?

Neoemu and mame4droid. Both perfect. I read somewhere snapdragon not great for emulation
