How do we get rid of the white dot that follow your touch on the screen?

You're either pushing the screen really hard, or you should be able to go into Settings->Developer Options->Uncheck "Show Touches"

Mass effect infiltrator install

I recently bought this game and know I have to install the larger portion of the game after the initial 16 mb download. But when I open it up to install, this is what I get:
I followed what it says, but this still pops up.

Toggle your status bar/navigation bar off (full screen) before you start the game to get the download to start.

How would I do this exactly? I tried the method found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1706008
But that didn't work. Any ideas?

Its probably the modified build.prop (I see that you have the tablet ui) - the server can't find the resources matching your fake configuration and most probably that's why you get an error.

There's an app in the play store for root users that will toggle the Nav bar. Its like 2$ I think.

If youre on paranoidandroid, go to settings/paranoid settings/user interface and put status bar size to 213. Reboot and then download th game. Once done pu your status bar back to how ever you want it.

If he's on paranoid android he can just toggle the status bar off with the power button.
Im running kaos droid v3.7.3
These are the options I get when I click on status bar in the settings menu
There isn't an option to disable it... is there another way to do it besides buying the app?

The description for your ROM lists the power menu toggle for the navigation bar. Hold down your power button and see if there is an option for full screen or hide status bar. If not it would need to be turned on in the settings under power menu, then you can hold down the power button to access it.

Are you serious... in the ROM tweaks whatever they are called.. then find the Power Menu option and in there you should have an option to toggle systembars or nav bars it'll be called something similar.

I've looked under this option, and no systembars is being displayed. I only have the option to enable screenshot and reboot menu as with profile switcher.

Then your ROM doesn't support it. Find one that does or buy the app called hide bar in the play store.

as you can see, I no longer have the status bar there and this still pops up. All I want is for the game to install.

Notification tip

Incase I'm not the only person left who never realised this.
In JB if you have annoying apps/games (games mostly) that don't have inbuilt options to turn off notications, ie autorap. You can turn them off by going to settings - apps - select app - untick the box "show notifications"
Can't believe I never noticed this already
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Most of the games which spam with notifications have an option to disable it in their ingame menu

Not all, like I said autorap doesn't, others too

The other trick is to long press the notification which will bring up an option to view the App Info. Removing several steps.

It will only work on the homescreen as this is the only app that puts something behind the status bar, go to settings>hybrid properties> slide and choose apps then on your launcher tap status bar colour
I do this but I don't know who color to choose :sly:

You choose the color for status bar and set it black (default) and use the alpha slider above. Don't forget to hit apply!
Go to: settings>hybrid properties>slide and choose interface>go to the bottom and choose "status bar color"> there is a large bar with little cubes, slide this till the end then press "new color" go back and apply. That should work.

Doing it that way I'm getting some weird looks for some apps. Think it has to do that only the launcher is able to draw under the bars...
So I'd only try setting transparency for launcher app. Works perfectly here:thumbup:
OK thanks ! I apply this only on apex and its look good
One more question , I can do this on lock screen?

Think it is the android system app that you have to change. And rebooting is recommended.

I'm on PA right now too. And transparency on lock screen works for me atm. Don't know why it doesn't for you though.
BTW would appreciate it if you hit the thanks button rather then saying thanks:beer:

They don't disappear on mine. However on mine the icons turn into dots sometimes, like in the camera. Not sure why.

Buttons stay or go away based upon the app you are using. Camera...they stay on. Netflix or any other video, they go bye bye. Varies by app I believe
