Incase I'm not the only person left who never realised this.
In JB if you have annoying apps/games (games mostly) that don't have inbuilt options to turn off notications, ie autorap. You can turn them off by going to settings - apps - select app - untick the box "show notifications"
Can't believe I never noticed this already

Most of the games which spam with notifications have an option to disable it in their ingame menu

Not all, like I said autorap doesn't, others too

The other trick is to long press the notification which will bring up an option to view the App Info. Removing several steps.

Think you can get an app which will display the battery percentage in the notification bar.
Yeah I am aware you can get an app that will do this I'm asking if it's built in the stock setting as it is in the gs3.

If you do the two-finger swipe down (like with the notifications, but with two fingers) it shows the quick settings. The percentage is listed in there. I don't think it shows it by default in the notification bar, though.
After play around for awhile i found a cool hidden menu

You can find loads of strange & often useless menus assigning shortcuts to otherwise unlabled settings activities. Hours of fun. The developers menu you found is a favorite.

Anyone know how to disable the click on the keyboard? Seems simple but have yet to find the option outside if turning the sound of completely.

When the keyboard is open there is a settings button next to the space bar. Hit that go to advanced and turn off the sound.

Hey folks:
I have been looking for days to turn off the little sidebar app with all the shortcuts. I can't find the app to disable or the setting to turn off!
Any one know how?
Thanks,

Try long pressing the back button
It took me a while to figure out as well. If you want it back long press it again (multi window must be enabled)

Or you can use the Multi window button in notification panel.
Question: Can you force the home/back keys to stay on screen at all times? Like say if you go into the camera the buttons disappear. Is there a way to force them to be on all the time?
Yeah mine are on all the time.

They don't disappear on mine. However on mine the icons turn into dots sometimes, like in the camera. Not sure why.

Buttons stay or go away based upon the app you are using. Camera...they stay on. Netflix or any other video, they go bye bye. Varies by app I believe
