Greetings,
Does anyone know how to extract the live wallpapers from ICS to put onto the Nexus 7? I'm specifically looking for the Microbes and Nexus live wallpapers. I'm a bit disappointed that I can't show off that great feature on the 7, that big beautiful screen just screams for something flashy like that.

You could copy the apk from ICS or manually add the desired files to the JB apk. The apk should be in /system/app/livewallpapers.apk

Just to update, I've gotten the Microbes live wallpaper to work by installing the APK I got from the Galaxy Nexus forum. I think it was originally from a Nexus S,because it looks a bit fuzzy. I'm going g to try to extract the APK's from the 4.0.4 image later today and I'll post my results.

Does anyone have the Nexus live wallpaper from ICS? I couldn't get the APK from the image I downloaded from Google. I found the Microbes one, but I'm still looking for the nexus one to run on the Nex7.

the samsung nexus s hasent been released yet...... the gallery with cool live wallpapers is called .... THE ANDROID MARKET lol

the native gingerbread LWP's might be in the sdk but we wont be able to get hold of the new Nexus LWP untill the NS is released, its not that diffrent from the old nexus one the

ya I want this wallpaper, looks great
yea when i saw it looked as if it was kinda 3d cus some of the lasers seem to be on a different plane like they're in the distance while some are closer....i want it too lol

When you look at the Nexus 10 you will find that the launcher has a real landscape-mode. I'm missing this mode on our Nexus 7. I.e. on the Nexus 10 the dock is at the bottom, we are having it on the right side and we have no search-bar.
Is there already a way to get the Nexus 10 launcher-layout to our Nexus 7?

It seems like no one else dislikes the landscape-mode of the Nexus 7.
I don't believe so, but you could play around with launchers and try to make one you like. Get creative with it.
I personally don't care for that sort of dock, so it doesn't bother me. And the setup I have with Nova Launcher really works for me.

Exactly what I mean!
You could use nova launcher.Turn the Dock off then put the icons you want on the bottom.. Same difference .. I really dislike the google search and the dock bar on a tablet size screen.. The search bar i want NO PLACE. not even on phone..

I have been looking for wallpapers for my new nexus 5 and most of the ones im finding are just widescreen PC wallpapers. So, i took a bunch of images with Vertical resolutions of at least 1920 and cropped them to make great looking wallpapers. Keep checking cause I will be adding more throughout the day, il post a reply if i make any major updates.

There's a wallpaper I cant seem to find. It's from the galaxy tab pro 8.4, sort of looks like a mashup of paint colors.
Although this may be because nobody has extracted them from a device yet?

1. Click on the link to open the Google Drive Folder

3. Bottom Right there will be a Down Arrow, Click that.

There is no live wallpaper of the beach alone. It belongs to a set of live wallpapers of the Pixel 2. THIS APK works on my S8. Some of the wallpapers crash, but not the landscape ones (like the beach wallpaper). This'll have to do, or you should give up your search.
Use app Zedge and search for Pixel 2 wallpapers. The static one (beach) is available if that helps anyway!

The one that I climb, in the previous post of the beach, only occupies 10 mb:good:
