get quickboot app from the market.. much better. On a phone, the power menu mod is good but with N7's awkwardly located power button, i don't see myself need to hold down the button often.
ANybody? I dont need a rom with this. I need a link for the mod itself to add it to stock

its included in custom roms, its not part of android as it is. for native screenshots, press and hold the power button and volume down, at the same time.
I have the custom rom. I know of the volume option but i was wondering if you could add it to the power menu. I could have sworn it was there previously.

Go to the thread that belongs to the custom rom you're using, and ask if it's supposed to have a screenshot entry in the Power menu.
i can't find any screenshot button in Hyperion 9. where to find it ?

... It's exactly the same way with stock.
If you really don't know and you've never used screenshot on stock ROM, the button combo is home+power. Hold the home key (not long enough to bring up the recent apps window) and quickly press the power button.
Note that in CM7.2 this combo does not work, rather there is an option in the power menu (when you press and hold the power button to turn it off/reboot).
Next time, use Search or Google.

Hi everyone,
I have somewhat newbie question but I am unable to find answer anywhere so maybe someone here knows - how to make a screenshot on that tablet? Holding combination of Volume Down and Power buttons is not working for me. The only way to do it for now is to choose that option from top-down menu on homescreen - but it is very uncomfortable to use.
It is neither my first Android tablet nor phone, I get used to many different ways of interfaces but this is first time when whole Google claims "Volume Down + Power" but it certainly not working. Android 7.0, EMUI 5.0.
Works for me, seems like I had to hold it a bit for it to work.

I just pull down the status bar (top right) and screen shot is one of the options. If it is not there it can be added.
Hey All...
Is there any way I can get the screenshot button back in the power menu where it belongs. The palm swipe is stupid and I hate it.
Stock Android 11 has a customisable power menu that gives you options to do that with things like tasker. No go here on One UI...
There's the accessibility floating button but that's a pain in the ass.
Otherwise I'm left with flashing a custom ROM and voiding KNOX bs and warranty...
Is there any other way?
