Fresh new colour options for the Samsung Galaxy S3 are on the way, a Sammy rep has announced.
As it stands, the S3 is only available in the launch colours of pebble blue and marble white and the just announced Garnet red edition, which is exclusive to AT&T in the US.

That’s about to change, though, after a Samsung UK spokesperson confirmed that it will be “announcing potential colour variants in due course”.
As well as a UK release for the red hued model, we also anticipate a pink model a la Galaxy Note, and perhaps even something a bit more macho, say gun-metal grey, for those Clarkson-alikes who want an S3 but have been put off by the touchy-feely way it has been marketed.
Available on all major UK networks, the S3 just completed a second month at the top of uSwitch Tech’s Mobile Tracker, commemorating its status as the UK’s most in-demand smartphone.
so is the red s3 coming out in the uk aswell? and if so when is the release date?

If you see carefully in the Pebble Blue cover, the face a bit diffirent with the back. Next time the color will change a little bit for the same between them .

Pickin up my Galaxy S III soon, which just came to AT&T stores today. And as most of you know, there's gonna be an exclusive red version for AT&T. Does anyone have a clue on when it'll come out? I'm pretty set on the blue, but I want some second opinions. So what do you guys think, blue or red?
Pesonal preference really. Hard to say without seeing the red. Have any pictures been released yet? I absolutely adore my pebble blue. It is more of a dark greyish sort of blue & I'm glad I held out for it.

It's hard to say until we see what color the red really is. Solid fire engine red will probably look a bit odd because of the shape of the phone. Who wants a phone that looks like a Fisher-Price kid's toy? If it's a dark garnet with some of the texturing of pebble blue it could be quite upscale looking. I predict AT&T "red" is just the beginning of market and carrier specific "special editions."

I'm really looking into jumping from my Infuse to SGSIII. Love my infuse and all the development for it, but I'm looking for something new to play around with. Plus I'd like something with more modern specs. 500mb of RAM just isn't enough... So my question is, is the jump worth it?

It's definitely worth it, the Infuse is basically a first generation Galaxy S (Captivate with bigger screen), and you're jumping to the third generation of the Galaxy series. It's pretty awesome, and the phone's a beast!

That's how I've been looking at it. Slightly upgraded Galaxy S to SIII. I've had my eye on that white one. Just wish they had black.

Yeah I was initially going for the pebble blue, but the white one is quite a beauty! It's a great, feature-packed phone!

Long time infuse user here. Had the SGSIII for a few days now and I will tell you that you will love it. Wanted black as well, never had anything but black but the blue just didn't work for me and I'm liking the white. Bottom line I believe as an infuse user u will not be sorry. :thumbup:

I am going to purchasing my Galaxy S4 GT-i9500 here in the next couple of days, hopefully today. I want to get the black one, however from a lot of the pictures I have seen of it, it actually looks more gray than black. Kinda like the note 2 did. If this is the case then I'll probably get the white s4. If anyone can confirm it is black and not gray at all that would be much appreciated.

It has sort of a carbon fibre colour and texture to it. I certainly wouldn't call it black so if you want that you will be disappointed.

I can confirm an earlier rumor that the ultra and mini are both launching in all white (Kevlar too) the 29th of this month, for black Friday. No white maxx in sight. Pricing will be the same as current.

Never been a fan of white phones, but after seeing the White Mini, I'd actually rock that. the KEVLAR gives it a nice look.
Its actually not that great, I'm not a fan of the way it looks. By the way it was originally to be launched the 22nd but got pushed back.
Saw one droid ultra being sold in ebay (ain't sure if it's the real deal), but there is a small motorola logo on the front left corner). Guess it is a prototype.

Yea those r prototypes, if it was legit.
That's actually why I'm glad there releasing the white ultra because now I'll be able to swap the glass on my maxx to white like the leaked prototype pics (white glass, matte black Kevlar)
