[Q] MyMIUI - Playstore quits - HD2 General

I am using myMIUI 14 B5 [MAGLDR/CLK║Dorimanx║GB║APP2SD║CACHE2DATA║ZIPALIGN] by Aternus
I had this problem when I installed this rom.
1) After installing when i tried to restart my phone it used stuck on Dorimanx kernel logo. I had to wipe and reinstall everything.
Solution: I had to format my SD card to ext2. I am not really sure. Now I am able to restart the phone without any problem.
However after 2 days use of this ROM I have this problem. Few apps doesnt open, main app which doesnt open is PlayStore. I try to launch it, black screen pops and goes back to home screen.
@Aternus: Please find the log attachment. I am in love with this ROM. This is my 1st MIUI ROM and the Best one i have used so far..!! As I was using Hyperdroid Rom before which was also good but was with Old UI.
@XDA moderators: I am unable to post reply on MyMIUI thread. I am getting a message saying I have to post 10 useful post to be able to reply on the development post.. Please help. Atleast on this thread. I have questions to be asked to Aternus or please move this post to the relevant thread where I can get answer.
Thank you XDA and Devs: Without you My HD2 is just a Windows phone, Sorry for the long post.

Problem after install RAFDROID HD 4.0

Hi everyone!!
First of all, i want to apologize for open this thread but i can't post it in the RAFDROID one.
A few weeks ago i succesfully install the 3.1 version and today i upgraded to 4.0. I followed all the steps to install the ROM... everything goes well until i made the first reboot, well i turned off the device and then i turned on again.
When the phone starts in first place appears the RAFDROID image and then an animation, well my problem starts here it doesn't appear this animation anymore and then, after boot, i get error msg "system process..."
So, i need some help hahaha! What i have to do? Reinstall the rom? Any recommendation?
Thanks in advance!
P.S/ I made the backup and format the SD... but i think i did it wrong the format, 'cos i format all the SD no the ext3 partition...
EDIT:
I found the answer finally! Sorry again!! The thread can be closed!!
u may have to reformat the card with the build instead of the backup itself
if you found a solution write what helped you, in case anybody else has similar problem he won't have to start a new thread.

[Q] So...

I guess I'll post it here since I can't post in the development forums, cause I'm new. ):
But I'm trying out Imilka's doubleshot ROM, and I get to the green and white mytouch screen, but it keeps blacking out and going back to the same screen... What could be the problem?
I don't quite know how to edit a post, but i think I might have a bad cwr. Everytime I try to install any ROMS from the install from zip option, it says error, status 0.
What could that possibly mean???
Please help!
First off to edit your post look at the bottom of hour post beside the thanks button you will see a edit bitton, you will have to click advanced edit if you want to edit hour thread title.
Ok about your CWM, do you have your ROM's zip file on the root of hour SD card? You can also try reflashing CWM but make sure it is the right portition size for the ROM you want to flash. If that does not work run a Task 29 and then reflash MAGLDR or cLK which ever one you are using and then flash your CWM again. If still no joy post back here with hour exact steps you did and the results.

[Q] Black camera screen Mytouch 4g

Hey guys I have a mytouch 4g that has been rooted to 2.3.3 (gingerbread) (I bought it like this) and when I try to go to the camera/camcorder/ or any other camera using application its just a black screen. I don’t know how to fix it, please help thanks!
Try to flash another ROM and see if it works then. I don't know if you are familiar on how to do that, but in the Mytouch 4G android development section there are plenty of ROMs to choose from with instructions. Make sure you make a back up. I suggest royalginger 2.1
thanks for the response,
i actually dont know how to change the ROM, does that mean changing from gingerbread? thanks for your help,
Nope, there are plenty of roms that are gingerbread. The link I am posting is the resource bible located in the development forum. It has basically everything you need to know. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=866175
I suggest you go to the android market, look up rom manager, an download it. Also go to cynogenmods website an find the mytouch 4g, go to the wiki part of it. It well show you there how to download an install a new rom.if you still need help send me a private message, cause I change roms bout once every few days.

Since his phone is already rooted with a custom rom, I am willing to bet he has ROM Manager on his phone...
thanks guys i am a little confused, but yeah it does have a rom manager but im not sure how to use it, its my first android and i didnt know it was rooted when i bought it lol
i might be asking for too much, but can anyone break it down for a 1st timer, i just want a stable phone with the camera to work lol
Make sure you have recovery installed, rom manager can install it. Its the very top in the app.Open rom manager, select download rom, pice the rom you want.make sure you also download gapps(google apps). Wait for it to download. Once it downloads rom manager will ask you,to wipe cache, dalvik,an back up rom. Do all three of them. Select ok. You should now reboot into recovery, use your track pad,to find install zip, select that then find choose zip, from sd card. Look for either rom manager or cynogenmod(not, sure which it is). Find the rom you downloaded, select it. Itll ask you if you want to install, select yes. Then repeat the process in,recovery to install a rom,for gapps. One you done that, hit the back button an,reboot your phone.

Hey, guys i finally got a new ROM! but the bad news is that the camera still doesnt work? any other suggestions.... the weird thing is that the camera has worked before, and then it goes black again
I think the camera on that phone, is probably messed up. Maybe a bad connection.

Hopes this works for you.
Ive been having the same prob for months. Then tonight I did something unusual. I called T-mobile to see if they had a solution, and by golly it worked! The tech mentioned that the black screen may be due to an issue with the sd card. She said that if I used to much memory, the camera will not allow anymore videos and pics to be taken(why it doesnt just flash a note that says memory overload or something, IDK) So she said to remove the sd card and reboot and try to access the camera. If the phone allows you to do that then there is an issue with the card. Remove all saved data to another device and reboot.
I actually did it a little different. I remembered that the last time it worked, I was at a concert and took several videos, so I was hoping I had just used to much memory. So before rebooting I simply deleted all the videos from that concert(you can dump files on another device). Then I tried to start my cam, got the black screen. So I powered the phone down, removed the SD card and battery, reinserted the battery sans the SD card and rebooted phone. Activated the cam, still got a black screen. Powered down again, re-inserted the SD card, and rebooted. Started the camera and......it worked.
No more black screen!

[Q] problems with incoming calls

for some time, after restarting or turned on my leo, if I receive a call, the phone freezes and I have to restart it. but if after a reboot, I'm the first to make a call to someone else, I can talk quietly and the phone will not lock. this happens for all subsequent calls. I thought it would be a problem with the ROM I used, but also by changing the ROM problem occurs again.
What should I do?
my LEO:
HSPL 3.3 (I also tried 8.2 but I get the same problem)
radio 2.15.50.14
Bootloader CLK 1.5.0.3
ROM: Pixeldroid Jelly Bean AOPK 4.2.2 v 6.0 FINAL 20/05/2013 (with date and onext linuxswap)
thanks for your help
p.s . sorry for my english!
I was going to ask you to post your question here, in the ROM specific Q&A thread. But you said you changed the ROM and the problem is still there.
Try a fresh install, remove everything, install a new ROM and BEFORE restoring your apps or setting up the phone, try to reproduce the problem. It could be because of one of your apps, or one of the settings.

Unfortunately, even after a fresh install, my LEO crashes when I receive an incoming call.
Moreover , i have no badblock
Your problem is weird. I have just made a search, and found about two people with a similar problem, but with a dead end, i.e. not answered.
I see that you have SWAP enabled, try to remove its partition from the sd card and reinstall the ROM without swap.
I had only troubles with Swap/Odex checking while inatalling ROM, so yeah, worth trying.
Also, it still can be HARDWARE issue as nothing (which should) helps.
If unchecking swap wont help, i'd suggest doing hard reset and if WM has same problem, go to HTC or any GSM store, maybe big heads can help with that then.
I hope You will get it sorted out!

Long time ago had similar issue. Problem was in phone and second factor slowly dying sdcard.
I fix my problem by flashing back to wm6.5 then after did install back MAGLDR used newer Cwm (dont use old 3.x.x version). Ofc bought new sdcard.
My advice would be try now while you are on Wm 6.5 this rom, its SRAM version, meaning you will run from wm and it will be loaded in RAM so no messing with sdcard: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1868306
If it works, try to flash Magldr, don't use HSPL 3.3 instead use older 2.8, also don't use Cwm 3.x.x use instead 5.x.x version.
When you install android allways follow instructions especially how much system, data partition size must be and if you install JB version try NativeSd if your card is good one.
Hope it helps.

This happened to my phone also difference being it didn't freeze all the time but literally half of the time whenever i got an incoming call. I did all the stuff being suggested here and tried multiple roms without success. Then i removed task killer after a fresh install of "CM9ight_leo_v1.1a_div2" rom and my phone hasn't freezed since, been two months now.

[Q] How to get back app menu on Nexus Me v5 ROM

I dont know how but i removed the app menu option from the screen from my ga;axy y. I have installed the nexus Me v5 Rom in it. Can you please tell, how to get it back???
I know that factory restore is an option but i want to first look for any other option rather than reseting my phone

I don't use that rom so the wording might be slightly different depending on its launcher
Long press on any blank area of the home screen
select add launcher action
Select add/close app drawer
long press on app draw image
drag it anywhere you want to put it

I was also facing the same problem. You are not installing the kernel properly. Download kernel from http://www.mediafire.com/download/s32dnj9g9g44h31/Percy_G2_CyanogenMod2_2+.zip
Then download ROM from either xda developers or from http://goo.im/devs/YashRastogi/Galaxy Y Android Development/NexFit/NexusFit_v0.1_CM7_YOUNG.zip
Copy all the files to your SD card. And then follow the following video. Please leave a thanks & tell me if it works. [first time booting takes time]
