My GT540 is ****ed :( - GT540 Optimus General

So, I decided to erase everything (boot, system, userdata, recovery) using fastboot.
I am now selling it to my sister, but nothing I do will make it work
I have tried flashing a recovery - it doesn't boot into it, tried system and boot - it showed me the boot splash screen but didn't proceed.
I tried reflashing a bootloader using the mur4ik tool - didn't help.
I am now stumped
EDIT: OK, fixed now

Did you try to reflash KDZ file ?

am I briked or just stuck

hi, my first post here.
I just flashed my g3 with kyrillos ex V3.3 according to instruction including parting sd card, and everything was perfect. didnt get the chnce to thank for the rom (didn't get to use it for more than 5 min')
I tryed to folow a diferent tutorial that sould eneble fixing the text oriantation so I have Hebrew corect from right to left.
During the process, just after booting to recovery, I accidentaly pressed the update.zip option and the phone got stuck in the first "gt-i5800" screen and loops to the boot sound but the screen doen't chang.
I have recovery mode and download mode, I reflashed again, but the phone keeps getting stuck in the same place.
Help?
Try to reflash! Use samfirmware's JPF rom, do data and cache wipe with XXJPF in recovery mode. XXJPF rom helped me a lot. When recovery and downloading working, you don't have to panic!

Agreed. Try wiping data/cache, then flash an old firmware, then reflash Kyrillos'.
If recovery/download are working that means your boot partition is still in tact. Which means your phone isn't bricked
you are right!
good!
I got the phone back.
Reflashing.
thanks again
It was a Soft brick though no bad done!

You do that by reading a bit

Can't Flash boot image!!!

As the title says i can't flash any boot images
expect swiftdroids boot .img
Everytime i go onto recovery the swiftdroid boot image
comes up for about 1 sec and then the recovery menu
comes up!!!
I also tried flashing different CWMs but the same!!
My normal boot image does come up if i don't go to
recovery!! (It is the android boot image)
Cause of this i can't flash any type of boot .img
expect the swiftdroid's boot .img
Anyone know how i can get rid of this??
I am using SuperFast Froyo so its got nothing to do
with swiftdroid!!
I did go to data/local/
but nothings there so i went into data/local/tmp
and nothings there too. (used root explorer)
Any help will be appreciated!!

I'm guessing you've already done a wipe & flash lol.
What do you mean by "...i can't flash any boot images...". Won't you be able to do that via fastboot or recovery? On my device with Swiftdroid, when I enter recovery it also comes up with the Swiftdroid logo and then quickly to recovery (when I decide to boot to recovery). Are you trying to say that the Swiftdroid logo comes with other ROMs instead of Swiftdroid itself?

It could be a problem with the recovery image. Do you get the Swiftdroid logo when booting normally?

Maybe the other ROMs take more space than Swiftdroid's boot image. How big are the other's ROMs' boot images compard to Swiftdroid boot images?

then i tried with boot animation abled
and it still didn't come up!! YAA
But to confirm i am gonna flash a new new rom

By any chance do you have ClockworkMod Recovery on your phone???
Because with this one you can try to access it and over there Wipe Dalvik Cache, do a wipe data/factory reset, and if this doesn't works to wipe cache partition.
After doing this I will look for a restore image over the web, there are tons of them, Install one of them with the ClockworkMod Recovery, and just after the first boot access once again the Recovery and do a wipe data/factory reset. I think this way you will have a phone with nothing on it just a new OS.
If you need a guide for installing ClockworkMod this is the first one I used:

And thanks to effortless. for this awesome guide.
Hope it works...

[Q] Nexus 4: Can't wipe/Flash factory image. Semi-bricked phone.

Earlier today my phone was working fine running Stock 4.4.1/Kernel. I decided I wanted to get the franco kernel so I got the .img file from the xda thread. I flashed the .img file onto the boot partition using fastboot, and restarted my phone. After a few minutes of sitting at the "Google" screen I rebooted into the bootloader. I tried flashing the 4.4 factory image using the "flash-all.bat" without wiping anything. My phone continued to get stuck at the "Google" screen after multiple reboots. I then tried to wipe my device using fastboot. However, when using the command "fastboot erase system" I got an error that said "Failed: unknown chunk type." I kept on retrying the wipe to no avail. I found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2347060 and followed the steps. All the steps seemed to work up until I had to flash the given factory image using fastboot. I got the same "Unknown chunk type" when the cmd was trying to write files to the "system partition." Before you ask, yes my fastboot/adb is updated to the newest version. (I triple checked) And all my drivers work properly. I just flashed the 4.4.1 firmware 3 days ago using fastboot and everything went perfectly, including the wipe. Please offer any solutions you think could get me out of this situation. Thank you.

Never encountered something like this, but maybe from bootloader u can get into ur stock recovery & wipe cahce & wipe data.
once again I never had that issue...so its upto u...but might be worth a try...if u had made a backup or dont care about the data in ur phone then it did be easier for u u to try
Flash the factory images and erase all partitions on the device. If you want to get some data from the internal memory you could pull it through recovery. Next time read more do less. Franko's kernel uses different ram disk than the stock one. You could also try to flash a full stock kernel for your build first. Get it from the factory images and flash it through fastboot.

Can you get into bootloader mode. It's worth a try. Your not bricked if it can turn on. Your emmc may be bad and flashing the factory image won't work. But if that's the case then warranty or replacement are your only options.

Please Help me : My Huawei Ascend G700 device has a big problem!!!

Hello every body
I have a Huawei ascend G700 and i tried to install TWRP recovery and I could install it on official rom. BUT after wipe dalvic cache, cache and etc... and reboot, my device stuck in boot logo page and I think it has been boot looped.
Now how can I fix it?!

Well, you probably wiped /system.. I would suggest finding a custom ROM and flash that. You might be able to find stock images. I don't see why you erased your partitions though..
