Yes, most should work. You will need an app the communicate with the gps receiver. I used bluetoothgps from the play store but there are a few there you could try if that doesn't work with your receiver..
Good luck
Richard
Confirming it is work with bluetooth gps app from play store
Thanks!!

Hi folks!
I was wondering it would be nice if when start "Car Mode" launcher, automatically enable bluetooth.
I'm trying to do that using SL4A, but it crashes (known issue) :S
Is there any other way to do that? I believe Car Mode app is not open source (maybe I'm wrong!)
Thanks!
(Sorry for my poor english! )
Use tasker to tell bluetooth to turn on when car mode is on

I had this once. Not sure if this was what actually fixed it but what I did was download AngryGPS and GPS Aids. Then you use GPSAids to download XTRA files and run the GPS Doctor. Then run AngryGPS in TTFF test mode overnight.
It may also help to set GPS to MSBASED in AngryGPS.

Gps works for me on RemICS-1.3.
I did a factory reset before installing, if that matters...

Try using faster fix to set your region, then use gps aids, clear agps in settings, go outside, request update agps, then go to main gps aids screen and wait for a good fix (can take a couple of minutes first time) then subsequently you should get a good fix pretty fast.....mine takes 15 seconds

How can I do offline navigation with Google Navigation on my N7? I download my city to the device, turned off WiFi, and clicked the navigation button in Maps. It says "Action cannot be completed without data connection?" Is there any way I can get this on my N7 or do I need a different app/tether to my smartphone?

there are some paid apps which stores their maps locally, so you can access them offline. to be able to use navigation in google maps, you need active internet connection eg. your smartphone tether.
I just tether from my gnex.
Just compute your route before you disconnect. Turn by turn directions will then work while disconnected.

but if you take a wrong turn it cannot reroute
Just download a big enough area for offline navigation.

All wrong.
I have 2 apps that can do calculation of route while offline as they download the maps first (over Wi-Fi) and the app only uses your GPS on your nexus 7 to calculate the route.
These apps are nav free world
and
Sygic GPS Navigation
+1 for Sygic
Thanks for all the replies guys. I'll investigate some of the apps you mentioned and see if they will work for me.

No, not dumb, I just don't know the answer. Did you try turning off wifi before trying to connect?
