Started getting this yesterday as well. Pops up every couple minutes.

Also getting this. Are you rooted or running something other than stock.?
I'm rooted with the K747 kernel. Stock rom.

Phone is completely stock, no root.

I'm rooted with a stock image. This was even happening before the root.

it's an issue everyone is having... i'm sure samsung is aware. I'm shocked they sent it with this bug

I've had this issue, and it seems to have been completely fixed by clearing Internet app data.
Hasn't come back yet for me, and it's worth a try.

I had the same issue; seems to be something with syncing that causes the problem. I disabled Internet sync on all my accounts and the problem has gone away.

I had the same problem from day one. Unchecking the sync internet option for all my accounts worked for me as well.

Nexus S stops syncing on WiFi when screen is off

I can't figure this out and its driving me batty. When my phone is on wifi and the screen is off, it will stop syncing with Google.
I turn my screen on and the wifi signal is grey, then after a moment, it turns blue and I get my Google voice texts, gmail, etc.
Dies anyone have any idea?

well, i gave it a go and ran with it all day. still no incoming gmail or google voice texts when the screen is off
even when the screen is on, the notifications are very delayed. might it be a router setting..? it does only seem to happen at home..

what ROM/kernel are you running? Did you flash a kernel with updated wifi drivers and flash another (kernel) without reinstalling the ROM?
Otherwise, yes...check your router settings.
I'm sorry that changing out to wifi never sleeps, didn't fix your problem.

The stock Droid 3 ROM has a battery saving "feature" in the settings. Do you have that somewhere?

Make sure to read the changelog of the kernel. Some kernels include updated WiFi/Bluetooth drivers and if you switch kernels you must reflash the ROM to revert the drivers.

YouTube error PA

I'm using PA beta9 and I've been having issues signing into YouTube. I started having this issue on beta8. I tried re-installing gapps, reflash rom, clear app data, and uninstall and reinstall.
I will get "an error occurred" intermittently using the app (it trying to sign in) and when I try to sign in manually.
I was just curious if anyone else has this issue. I could not find any recent information on this problem.

Youtube working fine here...PA 9 with franco kernel.....just watched a couple of vids to make sure...
I can certainly watch videos but it refuses to sign in.
I'll keep an eye out to see if there's anything else I'm having issues with or if someone else has this problem.
Thanks for the reply, definitely something on my end.

Looks like in between PA versions a data wipe was needed. It works fine now. Thanks for letting me know it was an isolated incident.

Sound search not working

Does anybody else have issues with using Google's sound search widget? I don't know how this happened, it was fully working and one day it starts giving me "unfortunately, sound search has stopped" pop up messages in the middle of searches.
Could this be rom/kernel related? I'm using Minco and Franco's kernel.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

I had that problem too. I solved it by updating Google search.

Through play store? There weren't any updates, but I did try uninstalling and installing it again and the problem persists. Sure that's all you did to fix it?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Yes did a manual update in playstore.

Repeated notifications?

Since yesterday I get repeated notifications for the same thing. For example I'll get a Twitter or Facebook notification. I'll click it and take action in the app, the notification is now gone as normal. A few minutes later I'll get the same notification again! Was wondering if this had something to do with Google Services Framework update since I'm running stock rom and this problem just started yesterday. Very odd. Anyone else?

I got repeat notifications on twitter yesterday as well. Just as u described. Hopefully it was a twitter problem.

Nope. I'm getting them on Facebook too. Think its a Google Push Notification issue that's related to the Google Services Framework update. That's my guess.

I'm getting the same issues on my Nexus 7 too so it definitely appears to be a server issue and not device specific. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Randomly crashing after 4.3 update!

My Nexus 4 just started randomly started crashing after the 4.3 update ... Anyone having the same issue?? Please help...
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Hmm. the Nexus 4 I'm using doesn't have that issue. Sounds like you have an app incompatibility with Android 4.3. I would suggest combing your apps, or doing a factory reset.

Thanks, it turned out to be Snapchat!

yups even i found the issue of random crash in 4.3 (stock update, no root, no unlocked bootloader)
It crashed while using Skype and Gallery.
Chrome randomly crashed on a sandboxed_process:0 with crash type Native Crash.

In three days I've had the phone reboot three times, all within the first hour after unplugging it. Twice it rebooted while I wasn't using it and once while sending an email. I'm completely stock and did a factory reset yesterday.

I fixed my snapchat issue by clearing my snapchat data and cache and uninstalling and reinstalling the app!
