We're releasing Android 4.1 in AOSP today.
The name of the tagged release is android-4.1.1_r1.
The name of the development branch is jb-dev.
....
...
Cool, now we need the sources for our GTAB77 ROM so the mixings
and cooking can start bigtime

It seems "The waiting " is over
Now devs can really do their stuff to get the best costum rom on the forum.
Lots of JB apps are ready for use in ICS with some functionality, but not all functions! With this, my hope is up for the 7.7 can have it all XD
Good luck to the real Guru devs on this forum...
Regards,
Axelman

You need to understand the JB source code is USELESS without Samsung releasing ICS source code and drivers.
Lots more waiting to be had.

I just read about it as well, this place is gonna pop!
And better still: "Gingerbread will be in AOSP soon after Nexus S ships. Future details will be sent to android-building."
(from http://twitter.com/jbqueru/status/14915850251280384#)
Note that the Nexus S is already available for order from the Carphone Warehouse in the UK.

what does being in AOSP mean?

It means the source code will be released and ROM cookers can start their baking.
In other words, officially built ROMS like Cyanogenmod & Enomthers will be able to start working on their new Gingerbread releases.

No need to wait haha! Unless your waiting for custom device support for unsupported devices. Kind of like how the shift is not supported on the jellybean branch right now. Gingerbread is good to go!

Always updating this tool. Decided that the next release isn't going to be themed. Trying to keep the application as lean as possible. Also adding in run options instead of just static buttons. This way you can clobber, sync, then build in one command.

...very clear about what this is...
......it says Meizu MX in the title....
He's not fooling anyone, he's posting useful rom material.
At least he didn't fool me, a person who can read?
This Flyme looks nice, I'm very interested but my rom baking skills are rusty; I'll have to think about who PM about this port, maybe MIUI developers?
You don't get humor? It does look interesting, yes

He....he....he....he..... looks like the guy who ported it got banned from XDA.
I think its very hard to port without sources, and the framework so different.
Sent from my Lenovo S920 using Tapatalk 2
iya.. so sad.... but bro Toni, i successfully installed and use BBM official version with your CM9, just for test, but again, data connection not stable in CM9. So.... switch back to Gingerbread.

I've checked [email protected] and com.bbm-501082eb365053865c169548a7a51a51.apk for differences.
That is no real port. That guy just changed minSdkVersion from 14 to 10 and tinkered with some
images. Don't put your hopes in it.
