When writing for battery popup script, don't forget to check to make sure you just only kill the popup, not the actual working internals of the charging process. I had to learn the hard way. And woke up to an extremely hot phone that was still charging at 100%. You guys may already know that but just a reminder.

I've searched but to no avail. If my SG2 is in charge and reaches 100% (ie when I have it on charge overnight) it does not power on when I attempt to use it the next day. I have to reboot with the power button or remove the battery.
I don't believe it's rom related as this is recently happening to me using criskelo and rarity roms.
I've installed a few new apps recently but can't find the culprit.
Anyone have any suggestions how to fix this annoying bug....

Well today I faced a very strange issue. I noticed that my phone was hot so I checked out the battery usage and found out that bluetooth had been draining my battery even though I have never turned it on or used it on this phone!! Anybody had similar problem?
P.S. I'm suspecting it's probably some app I've installed but how can it use my bluetooth if it's turned off?!

So my battery completely dies on its on even when im not using it. Because when i receieved a call or text the screen turns on and doesnt turn off at its own. Never had that problem on other phones. Is there a setting im missing???
100% get a text screen stays on leave the phone come back 2 hours later n it drain the battery cuz the screen stayed on the whole time.

I had asked a similar question and found out that no matter what the screen is going to come on when you get a text message. Now it definitely isn't supposed to stay on. That's not normal. I'm sure you have restarted you phone already as it may just be a bug that needs a restart. Another option for you would be to download a third party text program such as handcent.

You didn't happen to go into developers settings and accidentally check the keep screen on while plugged in box did ya? Or try Display settings n see what screen off is set at. I know these are probably obvious things but ya never know, we're only humans and we do miss things sometimes. Hope it helps ya?

Yea thats what i thought screen usually goes off base on the screen time that i set 15 seconds. But the phone screen stays on after 15 seconds of receiving the text i have to press the power button in order to shut the screen which its ok when im around the phone not charge but when i leave in my desk for a while i dont get the chance to turn off the screen so the screen stays on n kills the battery its weird. I even disable the pop out in lockscreen on message settings and still the same. Set the display to turn off at 15 seconds n doesnt help :-/ sucks

I keep GPS and location services off. I disable carrier IQ on startup. However, system is my biggest battery drain, and it shows GPS being on all the time. How do I make this phone keep its idiotic GPS off? And does anyone else have this issue?

Try to reboot the phone and immediately disable CIQ when it boots up.
I already do that. It doesn't make a difference. The GPS logo isn't lit up in the quick toggles either, so I have no clue what's turning it on.

Today over the course of 5 hours, in standby/battery saver mode, data off, WiFi off, GPS off, everything off, it drained to 84%. Normally it drains to 98%. GPS is still using the most when IT IS OFF. This is ridiculous.

Notification toggle does not turn off GPS function completely. Hold for advanced settings and you will see. With other settings on, it can still be "pinged" showing ghost stats. There are more "GPS" functions than just that actual hardware. Think Wi-Fi and Google / mobile network.
I keep location access off completely. I said that in the OP. Why is it everyone keeps telling me to do what I said in the OP I already do?

Because apparently something is accessing your GPS. The sensor wouldn't pop otherwise. I have 0 issue with this.
