This is actually a tip I stumbled upon.
Anywhere you are in full screen mode, without access to notification bar (such as viewing pix in gallery) you can swipe down where the notification should be and it will indeed reveal itself. Enjoy!

No I'm not ignorant to android I been an android user since eclair, if you try that on stock gnex(ICS 4.0.4) it won't go down but if you do it on io5 a little tab will come out to grab down, just like the feature to tap twice on top of the phone to go to the top on Touchwiz, is been on iPhone but you just tap the notification bar, so yeah there is features on Touchwiz that had always try to copy ios, and ios try to copy android, I'm a user of both OSs and ain't going to tell you this one is better then that other because is not truth, I like both, but no and iPhone for ios, I preferred it on my ipad, so yup

Alot of the deva have been trying their hardest and it just keeps boot looping they said. It can't be done right now because unlike the fascinate, the Epic runs TW2.5 instead of 3.0. Gotta wait for 3.0 to be availible on the Epic I believe
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
Isn't the Epic Experience Rom using TW 3.0?
People don't search no more. This question and awnser had been posted in many threads from roms to asking for the lock screen.

Really? Whenever I long press an app it only gives the option to put it on my homescreens. When i press Menu in the app drawer it only says List View , and when i long press the bottom icons it does nothing lol. But when I press the home button it lets me edit however many homescreens I want and it also has the numbers on the dots at the top showing which screen im on so I thought it was just a partial 3.0 or something haha.

Open the launcher, hit menu, select 'view type', choose 'customizable grid'.
Then hit menu again, and now select 'edit'.
Of course this is if you are rocking the Epic Experience ROM

The reason we got 2.5 is cause 3.0 wasn't working right in landscape mode. Are phone automatically goes into landscape once the keyboard is slide out. The other galaxy s phones do not have these keyboard. So landscape mode wouldn't pose a issue

WOW MAN I LOVE YOU!
lol I was like what the EFF why can't I move my bottom icons thanks so much this tip should be included in the features of the epic exp rom!
Porting the lockscreen would require using baksmali to mod the framework-res.apk. I've looked at it and it was way over my head. People without coding experience need not apply.
so, if it doesnt work right with TW2.5 and epic experience has TW3.0 from the fascinate then why dont we just port it onto epic experience? wouldnt that make it much easier?
EDIT: epic experience uses TW3.0 from the vibrant past 1.2.01. not sure what the difference is but it still should make porting it easier.

Thought it was fake too. Patents and such as Pulser mentioned there will be legality issues with porting this onto a non HTC phone.

I cant talk for others, but for me, i wanted the design of SGS2 plus the hardware with Sense.
Ive had 3 HTC phones and none of them could keep up with the speed, not even with Cyanogenmod on them.
So yeah... The smoothness of SGS2 with Sense UI.

been waiting for this since the first alpha of CM9! can't wait much longer, and looks like we won't have to.. WOOOOO!

AOKP does need something like this.. with an option to make the swagger button say and look however you want
Its in alpha stage right now, obvious by the fact that it had its own icon, instead of being built into the settings.
But I'll say its about a month away, providing no speed bumps along the way

This is nothing Samsung-special but an Android easter-egg they've first implemented several versions back.
