Hi guys
i had the some sort of similar issue with mine as well ... Rooted my Ori ICS noted and when in the CWM and press the Wipe data / factory reset button coz i was thinking of trying other custom rom .... instead it preforming the full wipe, it hang for a while and that my phone got reboot and stuck at the samsung logo and reboot again after a while.
Also it wont not allow me to go back in recovery mode ... Going in to downloading mode is still possible can i know which rom should i get ? or any 2.3.6 rom from Sammobile should work ? i have check the rom XXLC1 2.3.6 is for different region then mine
Sounds like a boot loop just and all i did was wipe factory reset however this was after i flashed the gb rom through odin and yea mate you need the gb rom that applies to your region

If you think its bricked search for forest 1971s guide to unbrick your note it helped me unbrick mine
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA Premium HD app
If i had the same issue after a factory whipe i would ofin back to 100% non-rooted stock. It sounds similar to the issues people are having with the emmc kernal on ics. If your sill able to get to download. I would do a complete reinstall as phones have been reported to brick under high I/0 strain something a ron install could possibley cause.
I could be wrong but better safe than un sh*t's creek. Lol let me know how it goes.

I am having bootloop problem with my galaxy note n7000
I had stock LP8 version of ICS before. I rooted it using cf-root cwm v5.5. I took a nandroid backup of my rom. And then used triangle away app to remove the triangle. It went to special boot mode and resetted my counter.
I tried formatting my phone from clockwork recovery but failed to do so as it seemed to stuck there for long. I switched it on and restarted it went into bootloop showing galaxy note again and again.
I went ahead and flashed LP8 rom via odin. It didnt seemed to help as it was stuck again in bootloop. Tried factory wipe from stock recovery and cache wipe. Still no respite.
I thought rom was buggy and went ahead and flashed gb KK1 rom via odin. But still it didnt helped and i am stuck in the bootloop.
Please help me. Also it shows custom count as 'no' and binary as
'Samsung official'. Does it means warranty is claimable?
Sorry for the long post, but it was my first post and wanted to put all details. Please help me.

Put cwm on your external memory card if you have one and install it then go to advanced and wipe the dalvik cache, it should fix your problem it wipes any left over info from the past rom

Hello guys,
I am a S4 owner, coming from a rooted S3 with custom roms. I am trying to root my brand new S4 but there's an issue whenever i try to flash the CF-Auto Root, i get the following error <ID:0/003> There is no PIT partitionand FAILED on Odin.
The phone is not soft-bricked, as I can perfectly boot it up.
I don't know what i'm supposed to do, i am still on the official samsung stock firmware, i tried flashing CWM Recovery before rooting and after going into recovery mode I remembered that you can't have a custom recovery without rooting first. Did flashing CWM mess something up and it's causing me to get that FAIL on Odin?
Cheers.

Going back to stock and starting again may be the best bet as the poster above said.

I've managed to loose alll the data on my internal SD Card now... I can't get it to reboot into recovery or into the normal boot. How can I get it back to a stage where I can boot it normally? I tried to wipe the data partition and then sideload a ROM.. which failed because it said update.zip wasn't available... did a reboot and now it won't go anywhere at all..HEELLPPP
Try it.

I grabbed that... The data on the phone is all gone.. so what I had to do was put the ROM (echoe) onto a Micro SD card and load it that way... It has loaded it says successfully however it just sits at the loading screen and never seems to go past that...so I tried using the ZIP file for the boot loop like was suggested.. but it seems to be doing the same thing... stuck on the loading screen... not rebooting... just sitting there playing the animation in its correct loop.
I tried using adb logcat but its not getting to the point that logcat can even see the USB device I'm not sure what else I can do?

SM-9005
I saw your firmware @ Sammobile and they have MI7 for your model and carrier.
I just tried using the Sprint AP and CSC file and it said "FAIL!" and now I can't get to CWM or anything.. The only thing is says when trying to go to recovery is Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again.
I don't know the exact model of the phone as I can't get to any place I'd normally know how to view it as there is no OS
Take the battery out and little stick at back of the phone or check the sticker on the box if you still have it.
I just had a look on sammobile.. and did a search for SM-9005 and got no results at all :\ There's also nothing in the latest firmware.. Am I looking in the wrong spot? http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
You will need to look under firmwares and look up your model. Im not sure if it will let you download unless you signed in. If not just register its free.
There seems to be everything BUT Australia or Telstra :'(

Ok let me explain so we can make this simple....
I have no idea what I'm doing with all this odin stuff but I just want my phone to turn back on so I can sell it.
I rooted the fone awhile back because I wanted to delete all the unnecessary apps with titanium backup and then I did a factory reset and then this happened.
I don't even have at&t anymore so I don't need the phone.

The firmwares they will show you are the last ones , they show you the release date too
Those are the steps :
1. Download the file ( about 1.5GO )
2. Extract it and make sure you don't corrupted it . ( you will get a .tar file )
3 . Boot in download mode
4. Open odin , when he recognise your device choose the file in PDA and press start
5.After 8 or 9 min as usual you will get your new firmware in your s4
Make sur " re-partition" is disabled !!

Hi guys!
(Please checked the attached file)
My friend has this AT&T S4. It was soft bricked and only going to Download Mode. We managed to boot in Jelly Bean using a .pit file and a PDA file through Odin, but the phone only works during the first boot. Restart and it freezes on the lock screen.
It is right now updating via an AT&T OTA update, so I guess it's going back to KitKat (was originally on 4.4.4)
Can you guys give us some guidance? We would like to install some clean LP rom (AOSP/CM) and root if possible.
Thanks in advance!
Ok so it did update, and now it's not responding again. It freezes on the lock screen. I think it may have to do with the Kernel, because I have had similar issues before with other devices. Unresponsive screen, no WiFi, etc.
Odin the nb1 tar file. DO NOT use a pit file. Safestrap is the only custom recovery you can use. And you can only flash tw based roms. See this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=56453100

Thanks for your help. I'm flashing the rooted NB1 tar file. Once done, I'm going to follow the instructions to upgrade to NC1 and OC3 (which is LP, If am not wrong)
EDIT: Odin does not want to flash it. It simply fails after I press start
Ideas?

Try different usb ports, use the ones in the back of the pc, and different cables. Odin can be finicky.

Thanks. It worked after a few minutes trying and trying. I'm running Nb1 now rooted and with Safestrap installed.
Do I now need to go trough NC1 to get to Lollipop OC3?
EDIT: I can jump straight to OC3.. Looking for FlashFire now! Will update soon
Thanks

Success! I have renamed the thread so that people with the same problem can find it.
I'm running TW 5.0.1
Just to confirm, AOSP/CM roms are not possible at this time, right?
Thanks again!

Quick question, but not a big deal. The phone feels a bit slow and unresponsive. Is there any updated kernel that I can flash?
Also the camera does not seem to be working. Black screen for a minute and then Warning. Camera Failed.
Again, not a big deal since the phone was completely unusable a few hours ago.
Thanks again!

No, there is no kernel you can flash with the locked bootloader. I'm not sure about the camera, maybe try a 3rd party app from the play store

I am trying to flash NB1. I am currently on I337MVLUFNI2. I am getting Re-partition operation failed error. Tried different cables and PCs but the same error keeps on haunting me. Please help.

You're on an i337m. This tar is for the i337. Go to sammobile.com for your firmware.

Thanks. There is no FNB1 but ENB1 for i337m but that is 4.3. Or can I directly go to lollipop. I cant find any 4.4.4 on sammobile for i337M.
Not sure why this is happening. I have a Verizon stock S7 and have never tried to flash or anything. I've noticed that this error message pops up everytime I go to reboot while in reovery mode. Whether it'a a factory reset/format data or a cache format. I've done factory resets fine since this error message so I'm not sure what it affects.
Has anyone else had this and what exactly does it mean?

Have you done the condensed display mod? I believe that made mine say invalid argument. I should say that I never noticed it until after I did the condensed display mod, so I guess it could have been present before that lol.
No have not tried modding anything. I only install from olay store and like pandora and spotify cracked versions

Called Samsung and they say a file may have been corrupted and I need to flash the os or something. They recommended I go to a best buy but that's an hour away.
Anyone know where I can get the files to flash it myself?
I've rooted phones before

Try this thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...-to-notes-root-install-xposed-unroot-t3411039
Follow the "RETURN TO STOCK (unroot)" method and if what Samsung told you is true, you should be good.

Tried it, issue still persisted. Thinking I need to use a PIT file or something? I'm lost.

Here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/how-to/firmware-file-pit-galaxy-s7-s7-edge-t3345885
That should contain everything you need, just make sure to flash the exact model of your device.

I cant remember right now. It goes for maybe 3 seconds and then fails. I really dont want to try again after like 5 factory resets. Im willing to try a new fix but not make it fail again and then have to reset all over.

Are you absolutely sure you have the G930V?
Are you able to boot up the phone and use it?
Try disabling device administrators (all of them) and disable reactivation lock. Then attempt to flash via odin again.

Did you happen to try out the method I suggested then? You can enable those settings either after you successfully flash or if it still fails.
And I just wanted to rule out some possible obvious reasons as to why you cannot get it to flash, thanks for the info though, we're narrowing it down piece by piece.

Can't find reactivation lock in my settings and really don't want to go through another factory reset... Did like 15 in the past 2 days. Annother user narrowed it down to just the way the code is written in the recovery.

Understandable, I would feel the same way. I guess just don't worry about it then until you ever feel the need to update your phone.
Just for S&G I went into my recovery and did not seem to have the problem you were having, I use the Verizon variant as well.
Good luck and sorry i couldn't figure it out.
