I just wanted to say thank you to all the amazing developers out there for the Kindle Fire.
Especially Hashcode, you have made the most amazing ROM's and the 3.0 Kernel made the icing on the cake.

Because it was 'Like New", 85$. So not too bad, but because its towards the purchase of a Nexus 7, its a good deal
they only offered me 60 and mine looks brand new. so I preordered from googleplay

When I tried CL, I had no luck. Also I prefer a quick sale.
I just sold mine for $150 pretty good.
Im going to move on to the nexus 7.

Wow, I really doubt that'd work at my Wal-mart they are pretty strict and not as easily tricked.

It's not a coupon code. It's a long-shot pricematch. You have to convince the manager that Trubull, CT Target is competition, finagle their vague price match guarantee (Walmart or other stores) and hope for the best.
I would pass one on to a fellow forum member but the five that I purchased were all snatched up as holiday gifts.

I know this has no relevance but I work at UPS and today saw two huge boxes of Kindle fires just made me laugh cause we handle a lot of single kindle boxes but this was the first time I saw a box like this each one had at least 200 kindle fires in it for a total of 400. I could not see if it was going to a residential address or commercial (pretty sure it was commercial) but made me laugh one person would order that many for them self.

Yes is does support ICS completely now with the 3.0 kernel. I am currently running Reloaded CM9 with 3.0 kernel #8 and everything works great including Netflix and Chrome beta.

It depends on the quality of the 3GS, but a good condition used 3GS is worth ~100$. You can probably pick up another Kindle Fire for around there, so with the 25/50$ I'd say it's a decent deal.

Well, the 3GS has a brand new battery + screen, and it's supposed to sell for $175, but a new kindle fire is around $225 here in Australia.
The buyer knows how to root and stuff, so he's not extremely interested by the rooted-ness.
And the seller decided on $30.

3gs is a really old phone. Even my fiance's iPhone 4 runs like crap. I wouldn't take two 3gs's for any version of Kindle Fire.
