I wish I could buy one for my wife as well, because keeps taking it and playing Fruit Ninja for hours on end. I swear, she uses it more than I do.

Sd card will be huge for me, I'll be buying a 32gb and just filling it with music.

My wife owns the Xoom now. She was very impressed by it and was excited to get it. I want a better screen but if no good contenders present themselves, I may pick up the Wifi only version.
I like it a lot more since she owns it and not me.

Wish I could trade my wife to a girlfriend so my xoom will not be interfering my personal life

Hehe, my wife already hates my phone, wonder how much more she'll hate the Xoom when I get it.

Same here. Once it's working I'm planning on ordering a Sandisk from Amazon and filling that puppy up with music or movies.

I ordered the pick plus when they had it and got it in just a few days. So I think it depends.

i was thinking of buying the 20 dollar speakers. but i heard bad reviews about daily steals.... can some of you vouch for it? or should i not take the risk?
and what company do they ship it with? ups? usps? fedex? answers greatly appreviated

I ordered a Palm Pixi Plus from them last month when they had them for $24.99 and it only took like 3-4 days to get the phone. They either shipped USPS or Fedex, i can't remember but it didn't take that long

hpw was the quality of the phone?

I did that first day, rooted mine and installed pershoot's kernel for OC. Just recently loaded In Paris v4. So f'ing good.

Get the Nook Color if you want a cheap tablet that you will root and mod. It doesn't have a camera or gps and can be had for as low as $150. XDA has great support for it as well.
Also, look at the viewsonic viewbook 730. It is similar in specs to the nook, except it has a camera. Not much support in XDA from what I can tell, but I have seen some for less than $200.

I'm thinking about a Kindle Fire. Amazon got it right with the price point. If I wanted to spend $500+ on a tablet, I'd just get a laptop.

Is there an OTA dropping soon? Mom and sister are still using Epics and have been bugging me if I knew about any updates coming down the pipe

(HC 3.2 tegra 2, 1 gb ram, 7 inch tab) Acer iconia A100 at 189 on black friday

Guys this 7 inch tab is the bomb. I have no idea why the dev section is so dead. Acer promised ICS official release on January as well.
Only downside is 3000mah battery which leads to around 5 hours usage.
1 gb ram, dual core tegra2, name it this tab has it. So if you are looking for something other than a nook color at value price this is it. all we need on this is dev community! (For instance I'd love cm7/miui option on it haha)
It is going to be available on bestbuy on black Friday. To all devs out there- BUY IT! lol
Also if anyone could be kind enough to pick one of these when they are picking one up for themselves and are willing to ship one to UK ill give you a big hug lol. Will pay obviously for the tab and shipping and a tenner as a thank you!

It will protect anything from surge outages and also, it will still run whatever you are using for a while so if your running a server etc it wont shut down.
