hi there may i know why
1. in my galaxy tab under menu then go to setting then about phone cannot find the ota update stuff.
2. I saw on My galaxy tab the Version is
pda: p1000buji4 phone1000buji3 csc: p1000vd2ji1 but on my laptop kies why it detect my tab version as ji instead of buji.
3. may i know which country is this buji using.
4. I don't really know how to check whether its unlock set or ap set... the shop guy say its
euro unlock set help........ I'm trying find out before warantee ran out.

hi i try to update my galexy note 7000 PDA thorough Odin3-v1.85 but i think i hv placed wrong file File Name-I9100XXLPQ_I9100OXALPQ_I9100XXLPQ_HOME.tar.md5.
And now the phone desent shw any display but i can head the booting sound .
plz plz plz help
9100 is sgs2 not note. Try flashing the correct file trough pc odin

I think the clue is in the file you used. I9100 is a samsung galaxy s2 and you have a galaxy note n7000. I think you should read the forums before atempting anything on your phone as people around here will not help when you should have done your reasesrch before flashing your phone with galaxy s2 firmware.
As for your problem can you get your phone in odin mode.

This is a new thing, since my phone was previously detectable on this very same PC. I installed some Huawei drivers to root a friend's phone. Since then, my Samsung Galaxy Y has become undetectable.
I tried uninstalling the drivers, but no luck so far. How can I get my laptop to recognize my Samsung Galaxy Y?

install kies or moborobo..basically an app that recognizes android phones..BTW wrong section
Mahn search forSamsung Universal/Galaxy Y USB Drivers.....
Only 20-22 MB setup , really helps.....

Thank you for moving my thread to the right section. I did download Samsung Kies. The Kies installation went pretty well, but it is unable to establish a connection to my Samsung Galaxy Y. I also tried the wireless option. In the wireless option, it requested me to Run Kies air and refresh.
I could not find an app called Kies air, when I looked on the google play store. I don't have any other markets installed.

Hello XDA family here is a solution to fix your corrupted IMEI
first of all you must only use this for the devices below
Samsung galaxy S3 GT-I9300 model ONLY.
Samsung galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 model ONLY.
Samsung galaxy S4 GT-I9500 model ONLY.
Samsung galaxy S4 GT-I9505 model ONLY.
DO NOT USE IT FOR ANY OTHER DEVICE!
Before starting:
Backup your important data first just in case of this process corrupt your data.
Download and install Samsung mobile driver (Skip this if you already have Samsung Kies) (Link below)
Download MODEM.tar.md5 file then unzip it only one time (Link below)
Download Odin3 then unzip it (Link below) Disable the antivirus software, Close Samsung Kies and disconnect any device connected to USB
ports on your computer.
Flashing instructions :
1- Run "Odin3" as administrator, Click on PDA button and navigate to Modem.tar.md5 file that you extracted.
2 - Shut down your device and make sure your device is completely off
3 - Put your device into download mode by pressing and holding (Volume Down + Home + Power) buttons
4 - Press Volume up to continue
5 - Connect the device to your computer by USB cable and wait until you get a sign in Odin (ID:COM section) and "Added" in message box.
6 - Make sure re-partition is NOT SELECTED!
7- Click Start and wait a few seconds until you see "Added!".
P.S:
In some cases this won't fix the wrong IMEI or "not registered on network" message
If your device stuck in boot loop after downgrading, factory reset your device from recovery mode (Vol up+Home+Power)

Bro .as you mentioned It's DMG1 Modem for N7100 & if I am not wrong it's for JB 4.1.2 only.
Wondering,if it's working on 4.3/4.4.2 Stock firmwares.

I thought I had stuffed my note 2, do not know what went wrong , I changed my rom a few times just for fun and then one time, would not register to network, looked for 2 days, tried all sorts of stuff I saw on internet then found this, thanks, thanks, thanks and thanks. I really like my note 2 as I am older and need the screen space to see. :good:

got the same problem .. will it work for note 2 for the UAE stock ? .. and if this didn't work .. do you have any other solutions .. got this problem 2 days ago but i had this phone for 9 months and this prob appeared .. did'nt apply any update to be exact

I'm facing the same problem with my Note 2 GT N7105 (not registered on network) but the IMEI seems fine.Is it worth a try and where can i get the Modem.tar.md5 file i can use for the N7105. Only calling/texting is giving me issues but data is working just fine.
And is there an alternative solution ?

I was trying a different rom , and after i flashed it i noticed i was not getting a data signal, also i have signal for calls but when i try to call it says not registered on network. The imei is coming up normal , i tried flashing stock through odin and that didnt do the trick. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated, i have not had a phone for 2 days . thanks
