Broken digitizer needing replacement - Nexus S General

My daughter cracked the digitizer on her phone, it is a i9020t. Can u guys recommend best place to get a new one. EBay sells the digitizer along with screen but most are LCD and the amoled is 160. Can I even use the LCD version to replace the amoled ?
Thanks

Touchscreen for XDA

Anyone knows where you can buy a new tft screen for XDA I to repair it?
Do you need the lcd or the touch screen, there are 2 seperate components.
the lcd, there is black spot on my screen, so i guess it's the lcd.

[Q] Which of the two spare parts to get?

I broke my N4's glass and digitizer. The LCD works fine, but no touch and lots of cracks on the glass. So I found some spare parts, but I do not know which exactly should I get: the LCD and Digitizer assembly (1), or the whole front cover assembly (2). Here they are:

2. http://goo.gl/A3RCM
I suggest buying the second as it will be much easier to fix, but both would work

Well, the price difference is the key factor here. I was wondering if they both had the glass and if they do I will get the cheaper one. Since labor in my country is not expensive replacing it will cost around $10 here.

How to know if AMOLED is fake or real

Hi, the AMOLED screen of my S4 broke. Its not a build defect but due to my stupidity. I dropped it.
Im scouting around and official samsung store is charging me 400 USD to replace it while other cellphone stores say they have an original one for 250 USD. Is there a way to find out if it is indeed the real original AMOLED display that samsung has.
I havent had it replaced yet so side by side comparison wont work. Im sure id have to pay once they attach it.

Amoled not on the screen. If ur screen broke it's only screen and touchscreen panel will broke. Not the Amoled. Amoled is on black surface behind the gorilla glass. Amoled doesn't need back light. The original doesn't make your phone better than normal Amoled. As long as that is Amoled. Not Lcd that need backlight to work.

Its underneath the gorilla glass. Thanks for the reply. Will download a black wallpaper to make sure its amoled

Nexus 7 Screen broken, few questions!

Hey guys,
yesterday i broke the screen off my Nexus 7. So there are cracks in the upper glass. The lcd is still working, but the touch (digitizer?) won´t work anymore. So my question is: Can i buy a new digitizer and repait it, or do i have to buy a complete unit with lcd?
And where to buy these things? I could buy a used N7 on ebay or a screen but that is to expensive in my opinion.
I love my N7 and i miss it!
Greets
You'd be able to but you'd have to refuse the digitizer to the LCD, so just buying the digitizer and LCD together and replacing the whole thing would be better
Do you have an idea where to buy? And is the broken glass on the digitizer or LCD?

Cracked Nexus 4

Hi guys, so my dad dropped his Nexus 4 and the screen cracked and is unresponsive. There is also a red discolored spot on the screen. I am just wondering if I need to replace only the digitizer or both the digitizer and also the LCD. Thanks guys and Happy New Year!

It's far, far easier to replace the entire front assembly. Digitizer is only $20, but it requires specialty equipment (more money) and a lot of skill to do properly (which you probably won't), Assuming only the digitizer needs replacing. The screen assembly is about $45, but still requires you to remove it from the bezel and glue it back in. $60 for one already inside a brand new bezel.
