yep i done that flashed that ipl I think it is and then after that i I put that Onyx and it runs like a charm

You are not cid unlocked. I suggest to Uspl then Hspl.

as i will flash Rom for first time which is the best Rom available for elfin
i heard the onyx is good but still i want options to chose from.

You are cid unlocked but very old version, now try Hard spl 3.10 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=445666 then you can try without risk of bricking any cooked rom until you find the best for you.
