[Q] From RocketRom V7 to Stock Rom - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

Hello everybody,
After a successful RocektRom V7 installation I would like to go back to stock Rom GB or ICS. I understand that the safest is to go back to GB, however…
After installing Rocket, Odin PC does not recognize my phone and as consequence I cannot run it. Not sure if this can be done via Mobile Odin or any other way.
Your advice and help will be the most appreciated.
GT 7000
Android Version: 4.0.3
Baseband: N7000XXXLR1
Kernel: N7000XXLQ2
Build: RocketRom ICS XXLQ3 V7
Cheers!

[Q] SGS:whats the best stable gingerbread rom for this phone

Hi
I really need a stable gingerbread rom to flash for my samsung galaxy S that hasnt been modded in anyway and can a guide be posted with it? btw currently running DTJP5 2.2 Optus Stock
Thanks in advance
Daniel
There is plenty of information out there if you do a very brief look/search and out of respect to the forum by reading the faq's
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmvCpR45LKA&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Insanity cm017/glitch v10c
the most stable rom is probably official stock rom from Samsung with no modifications.
check this thread for untouched stock roms that can be flashed using odin
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1011901
or deodexed stock roms also flashed using odin or cwm
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=948790
flash the deodexed roms if you want to apply other modifications easily using cwm

Please Help!!!

Hi everyone. My SM-G7102 came with the following:
Android version:
4.3
Baseband version:
G7102XXUAML5
Kernel version:
3.4.0-2671946
[email protected] #1
Tue May 13 21:33:27 KST 2014
Build number:
JLS36C.G7102XXUANE2
SE for Android status
Permissive
I have flashed cwm based custom recovery and rooted using SuperUser 2.02. Everything is working fine.
[ Earlier, I had tried, Twrp and Philz recoveries, but they just gave me blank screen and reboots to system.]
I did a full nandroid backup today using my working cwm based recovery, on External SD Card directly.
I want to try out VANDROID ROM V1 by vandroid699. It says it is "E2 Stock Based ROM". My guess is that this is compatible with my device and its Jellybean 4.3.
I am also aware of the fact that once I upgrade the android version on my device, there is NO DOWNGRADING WITHOUT BRICKING THE DEVICE.
Please anyone confirm:
1. Is it OKAY to go for the Vandroid ROM V1 without having any problems?
2. Will I be able to do a "Nandroid Restore" if something bad happens?
3. I have also downloaded from Samsung update website this file "G7102XXUANE2_G7102OJVANE1_PAK.zip". It contains the Tar.Md5 file which is Odin-flashable.
Is it the RIGHT STOCK ROM FOR MY DEVICE? [btw, I am from Pakistan]
Thanks in advance
N.B: I have experience with Nexus 10, Nexus 7 2013, HTC HD2, in terms of flashing roms, kernels, nandroids, but I am new to Grand 2!

Well its just an E2 stock rom flashable zip nothing extra like s5 apps or anything just Samsung bloatware removed ( i haven't tried it ) ...if u want another rom try Gennxt Rom by ballibro and yes the nandroid backup will restore everything and you can flash the firmware you mentioned ...

Galaxy Grand 2 - Jelly Bean

Hello,
I have a rooted Grand 2 with stock Android Jelly Bean 4.3 running on it. I didn't get the KitKat upgrade for some reason.
I want to install custom ROMS like CM or Blisspop but both of these require Android Kitkat running on the phone (Correct me if I am wrong).
1) Is there some way for me to upgrade to KitKat first and then install the above mentioned ROMS?
2) Are there any ROMS available which I can flash directly on JellyBean?
Thanks
there is only one ROM available for Jelly bean that is [E2]Gennxt PreRooted ROM...i think the link for this ROM is removed by the developer..... So first download the latest KitKat firmware for ur country via Sammobiles and flash it via Odin... and flash custom recovery via Odin or recovery.img via Flashify then flash CM or Blisspop or many more....

defy mb526 unable to flash rom - please help

It is rooted, cmw and followed all instructions
I tried several 2.3.7 versions like nothing but speed and others. It installs correctly - no errors. I reboot ans surprise, it's still the same stock 2.3.5 rom. then i tried a few 3.1 and 4.4 versions, same result.
i simply cant flash any rom
what can i do?
build: 4.5.2-51_dfl-50
android 2.3.5 (factory)
model mb526
thanks
