Hi,i have a big problem: my HD2 when I install the HSPL 2.08/3.03,then i do a task 29,finally i install clk/magldr don't boot.
it remain at the htc white screen.
How can i do? i try a lot of time, but every time i must reinstall the original rom (1.66) beacause with clk and magldr the HD2 don't boot
For NAND Android ROM; You must flollow this sequence;
first check your device if it is 2.08.HSPL,
1. do task29
2. install radio rom 2.15.50.14
3. install magldr 1.13
4. do recovery 5.0.2.6(or clk)
5. Format your sd, create ext3(or ext4) partition
6. do clear cache and dalvik cache.
7. Choose your android ROM .zip file and copy it to your sdcard, load into magldr recovery and enjoy...

yep install the TyphooN_CM7_v3.4.0-magldr.zip instead of the one you did
you cannot use a clk rom on magldr...correction you can but its not as easy to setup

Hi guys,
I'm sorry, but i'm there 1 week trying to install this rom and I can not, can someone please tell me in a detailed manner from first step to last step how how install this rom?
Link ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075703
My smartphone and tools
HTC HD2 T-MOBILE
HSPL4 2.08
MAGLDR 1.13
ClockworkMod 3.0.2.5 OR 4.0.0.0
HD2 Toolkit
This is the procedure I did and it worked
Enter HD2 toolkit and select option MAGLDR Repartition, Choose system the Partition size (445), Cache Size (5) and finally Functions, Repartition.
After restarting the MAGLDR V1.13 chose option 8 "AD Recovery" then choose "monts and storage" and "mont USB storage" (this to transfer the rom to the card). After "install from sd zip" and "choose zip from sdcard" after installing the "reboot system now". The rom looks like it was installed normally, because there is no error appeared only after restart could not even boot ... the message "kernel NAND open failed" highlighted in red.
Please help me
you are flashing the magldr kernel aswell ?
I understand this error is because the rom was not installed correctly, but do not know why. Should any parameter is missing or procedure that failed to do.
You need to ext the SD card i think.
Sent from my HD2 using XDA App
Go into Magldr> ad recovery> advanced> partition SD card, 1024m or if you have a large SD card 2048m. Then you put the zip file on the SD card and install again.

Which file you tried flash?
Maybe you choose wrong file.
was it v2.4 you tried?
sybb,
I do not think I need to create partition on T-Mobile only on EU. Am I right?
langthang and Richy99,
Yes, flashing this v2.4 (Pyramid HTC WWE 1.35.401.1 v2.4 Tmous) and after Hieros cLK kernel for Pyramid v2.4, reboot.
*You have some ROM with 3D and Sense to indicate?

you flashed the clk rom when you are using magldr?
I use magldr, fashing clK because this post say
-CWR same as Magldr versions
- Flash Magldr versions, don't reboot, flash Hieros cLK kernel for Pyramid v2.4, reboot!
if you are using magldr you DONT flash the clk rom kernel or it will fail
you just have to install the magldr rom then let it install and reboot DO NOT install anything else such as a clk kernel
Thank you all,
I installed the ROM, but it has many bugs.
Someone may indicate a stable ROM?

1. It's MAGLDR, not MAGDRL

Task29 isn't necessary (usually it does nothing to help), and there's no point installing MAGLDR then installing cLK right afterwards.
so, i have normally a spl 3.03 using hspl4 can I install 2.08 HSPL doesnt brick my phone?? thanks
yes you can. "HD2 toolkit" consists HSPL3 tool. And you can install 2.08.HSPL.
thanks!!! i allready have HSPL4 so i'll use it>!! thanks

AFAIK, nothing different other than the fact that HSPL4 supports flashing from stock SPL 3.03 (i.e. Stock ROM 3.14) to a HSPL version (inc. HSPL 3.03)
:victory:****** Solved *******
Hi, thank you for all of your help and assistance.
It was all down to selecting the correct partitions (and me getting over enthusiastic in flashing roms and not reading FULLY on how and what partitions are required)
I have used HD2 Nand toolkit, and partitioned MAGLDR, then partitioned SD card within Clockworkmod.
Thank you all again for pointing me in the right direction...
Good Evening All,
I am sorry if this has been covered. I have searched the forums but cannot find an answer.
I have read all the FAQ and How-to's.
I am not an exact newbie, I have owned a HD2 before (about 2 years ago) and could install all sorts of different roms (including NAND)
I have Installed my Radio 2.15.50.14
I have installed HARD SPL 2.08
I have Installed MAGdlr 1.13
I ahve installed clockwork mod recovery 1.3 with 400M
Copied rom to root of SD Nexus HD2 jellybean v1.2 [dataonext]
and I have installed Nexus HD2 jellybean v1.2 [dataonext]
this installed fine,
I then decided to try another,
I downloaded QSEA_JB-MUSIC EDITION_V1 and placed on root of SD,
I booted into Magldr, then into clockwork mod
from here i wipe data, and factory reset,
wipe cache partition
and wiped delvic cache.
Then i install zip from sd card QSEA_JB-MUSIC EDITION_V1
when this is done,
It asks me to reboot,
Then it stays on the boot screen, and the rom does not load.....
I can restore the back up from the original rom install. but whatever rom I install (from Nand rom downloads) none of them install...
Please help...
Matt

1-Why? Use the HD2 NAND Toolkit to partition your system according to the developer.
2- Never reboot directly from the "reboot now" option of amarullz's installer. Instead, uncheck the "reboot now" option, click finish and reboot manually from CWM.
(The reboot option somehow makes your rom not boot, at least that happens to me every time)

Thanks,
I will give it a go!
Have already downloaded toolkit, and just watching the video on how to use...
Matt:fingers-crossed:
So, do I just use Magldr to partition and don't install CWM?
I tried to re-partition with CWM, but lost magldr.....
What am I doing wrong?
Still cannot install NAND rom.
Going to do Task 29 again, where from there??
Thanks for your help and patience...
try the links below, it might help

I don't use magldr, so I am not sure.
But I think you have to "MAGLDR recovery update" first, and then after it finishes you have to "magdlr repartition". Im not sure though.
How do I just install clockwork mod? Without using Magldr?
If I Task29 first,
What's my next step.....?
After Task29 (don't do task29 again) you have to do the following: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=25781675#post25781675 until you see the "recovery" .. from there, dont continue to flashing wp7, just put your rom on your sd and flash it from recovery. (don't forget to thank the the one who made the thread/guide)
Don't forget to NOT use 300mb, but use the one written on your rom's thread.

You can't have CWM without MAGLDR. If you've flashed CWM you shouldn't have lost MAGLDR at all, so I don't know what you did wrong. Task 29s are also almost always useless and unnecessary, if a guide says 'task 29' as the first step then usually you can just skip that part. I find that the best guide is the one in my sig, try it out.
Hey,
I love my HD2, but the windows not so much.. I'm trying to put Android on it but I am too confused in how to do it.
I have looked into it for a few hours, but I have absolutely 0 knowledge about phones ): and I don't understand it.
Whenever I look in a thread for a guide, I get linked to another thread for another guide, another, and another. This goes from the rom, to a magldr, clk and hdsp and all those things.
Can anybody just tell me in what order to do these? I'll look up guides and such myself, but I have no idea which guide to follow first...
Thanks alot, Kevin.
Okay, here how it goes:
HSPL 2.08 & 2.15 Radio
Magldr
Recovery (such as CWM or TWRP)
Your ROM.
cLK
Recovery (such as CWM or TWRP)
Your ROM.
Radio 2.15 is not necessary, but you need a radio that supports MAGLDR. But 2.15 and 2.12 are the most popular.
So you should first install HSPL 2.08, after that install a radio. Then, choose a bootloader (either cLK or MAGLDR). Then flash a recovery (I recommend CWM 5.0.2.6 if you are willing to install to NAND.). Finally you flash the rom from within the recovery.
You can look for the differences between cLK and MAGLDR, but generally, the differences are:
MAGLDR:
*You can't charge the device while off.
*Supports RMNET Data connection (stable)
*Supports Windows Phone.
cLK:
*Supports charge while off.
*Supports recovery repartitioning without a PC.
*Uses PPP data connection. (Said to be fast, but it's unstable)
download - magldr, nand toolkit, hspl4, radio 2.15.50
into bootloader (stripey screen)
use hspl4 to set 2.08.hspl
into bootloader
flash magldr
into magldr - usb flasher
run nand toolkit - may need to hit the button marked drivers if you have trouble connection, , or install the PC app 'myphoneexplorer' (no need to run it) which also sets the correct drivers.
in the nand toolkit select the desired partition size (the rom you want to flash will tell you what size)
click magldr repartition
--- cwm is now installed
reboot - magldr - 8 ad recovery
cwm will now start
choose advanced - format sd - choose an ext size (512 or 1024 should be fine to get started, 2048 if you have a large card) - (This WILL delete the whole sdcard so backup anything you wanna save)
using an sd card reader, or cwm - mounts and storage - mount sd card to copy the rom.zip you wanna flash to the sd card
restart - magldr - 8 adrecovery - cwm - flash zip from sd card - choose zip from sd card - navigate to the rom.zip file and off you go.
reboot
done.
it should take less time than it took me to write that out, once you get the hang of it.
Thanks a bunch to both of you, really helpful
Oh nevermind, just took a while to boot
