How to stop gallery from downloading Google + images on wifi. - Galaxy S III General (US Carriers)

Anyone know how to keep the gallery from downloading all my google+ images?
I can clear gallery data. But as soon as I connect to wifi it downloads them again.
Or if someone can tell me how to fix google+ so that photos from post are not seen as a separte album on my phone for every post.

I rooted and deleted g+

[Q] Gallery Albums

So, as you may have noticed(fellow N4 users), when browsing the Gallery you will see albums synced from Google+ and Blogger(I think?). How do you disable this? I've disabled Instant Upload, but I still see the album for it. I deleted my Blogger, but the gallery album is still there. There is an album from my Google+ post, and my profile pictures, and Scrapbook photos(my G+ cover photos) on Google+. Is there any way to get rid of them(without deleting my Google+ and it's contents of course).

1/Disable Google Photos from your Google sync account
2/Go to sdcard/pictures/cache/
delete com.google.android.googlephotos
3/Go to Settings => Apps => Gallery
clear cache, clear data
The photos should be gone from your phone for good.
Edit: you don't have to reboot. the 3 steps above are enough
Thanks+ Worked flawlessly.

Instant upload message.

Hi,
Does anybody know how I get rid of this message when taking a photo.
View attachment 2046836
For the sake of search engines it says:
The first time the InstantUpload is running you must be online, so the target folder can successfully created by the upload process
I don't know if this is a cyanogenmod feature; if it is I can't find a setting for it, or something to do with Dropbox or Google+. I don't think it is either of them as I have never seen the message on the stock Rom.
Thanks for any help.
Jay.

Instant upload is a feature of Google+ , you can turn it off and will not get such messages. Instant upload uploads any photo you capture to Google+ and pops in a folder in your gallery, since you are not online, it tries to upload photo but fails.
Go to Google+ settings and turn off auto backup option in camera and photos if you are on latest version otherwise it will be listed as instant upload in settings and turn it off
Instant upload was recently renamed to auto backup

How do I get rid of unwanted photos??

Seems as if my Hangouts pictures that I send to friends are appearing in my gallery... How do I take em off? It won't let me delete them and there's a bunch of different folders but I don't know how to get rid of em. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Sure. Uncheck photo upload in the google account sync section. Then clear the data from the gallery app.
When you reopen the gallery app, your pictures should be gone.

I already had the photo upload unchecked which is what was confusing me... didn't know all I had to do was clear data from the gallery app. Thanks man, it worked flawlessly!!
Any time brother. Us XDA members gotta stick together!:beer:

AOSP gallery with Picasa sync?

I swear I had a camera/gallery apk that allowed Picasa sync in the gallery. I accidentally wiped my phones internal storage and can't find it anymore. Is there one floating around here that I'm not seeing when I search?
