The program HideBar (http://ppareit.github.com/HideBar/) works on our transformers with ICS!
HideBar allows to hide the systembar. This can be done from the notification area. To show the systembar again, one can swipe from the bottom (or from both bottom and top, this is a setting). It is possible to start HideBar at boot, and it is even possible to run in a kiosk mode!
Thanks for the good news but they said it removes the wallpapper? The fix is to use a live (animated?) wallpaper. Is it impacting the CPU and power consumption?

It kills a process in systemUI which also controls the wallpaper
The work around is to use a live wallpaper since that is a separate process, hence not killed. So you get wallpaper wizardry (think I got the name right) which is a live wallpaper app that displays one static image. Appearance wise it seems like you just have a normal wallpaper picture.
I know because I've followed this issue for the app Gesture Control. It's got a thread here at XDA. One of the things you can have it do based on a gesture is hide/show the bar. Implemented the same as hide bar, killing the process or starting it so it has the same problem.

Sounds cool, but since it removes the wallpaper I'll stick with the option integrated into the ROMs :-D

Ok, so I love having the assistive light widget. Its the only flashlight app/widget I've seen with the ability to launch it and simultaneously view other apps or lock the screen and have it continue to operate. However. The widget is larger than it need be and is above all ugly as sin.
My idea is to use something like Desktop Visualizer to create a 1x1 transparent widget to place in a second dock in Apex Launcher or somewhere on the home screen.
My problem is I cannot find the corresponding app or action to link the custom widget to the Assistive Light widget.
Does anyone know what it is, where to look, or can find it? Because I have been at it for two days and continue to fail lol.
Thanks for the time and help.

Might I suggest TeslaLED from the Play store? It comes in very handy and has a 1x1 widget that isn't an eye sore. It also stays on whether you turn off the screen or start using other apps.

Is it possible to add custom shortcuts or otherwise change what appears in the S-view window? For example, I'd like the music widget to control google play music, which it does not appear to do.

I would love to be able to do this also for the same reason.
I'm looking for this as well. I saw a mod for the s4 that allowed this so I'm hoping someone will make one for the GN3.

Having a problem with Widgetlocker on my Note 3...
Installed Widgetlocker via direct purchase from teslacoilsw.com. Software is installed & basically 'works', but I'm unable to pull up the Add menu via long press. Tool mode and/or lockscreen...neither pull up the Add menu. What's strange is I get some haptic feedback during long press in tool mode and if I tap around a bit & can get random stuff to happen (like adding an app shortcut to the screen). It's like the menu is 'there' but it's not visible or something. Any suggestions?
Reinstalled & all's good now...nm. (mods, delete post if needed)
~thx
Hi,having the same problem...for my case if you used custom wallpaper then the add menu is like hidden behind the wallpaper, maybe you need to check using custom wallpaper first
Sent the dev an email and he's looking into it. I found that using an alternate wallpaper doesn't do good either.

Would love to be able to send the developer and email. After figuring a way to install on the Note 3, since it shows unavailable for Note 3 on "play" - now I have the pull down notification bar sitting "behind" whatever I add to my Widgetlocker screen...making the pull down virtually unusable...maybe if you could tell me how to submit this to developer...?

On the play store I believe there is a link. As a work around I hide the notification bar and use Dashclock. I also think the dev just became a "daddy" so we may have to wait a bit.

I was wondering how you could hide the lockscreen notification bar.
I am using nova launcher prime and that easily lets me hide the homescreen notification bar but I couldn't figure out how to disable it on lockscreen.

oh yes I was aware of the widgetlocker option but i had to uninstall it for reasons already stated in this thread. I thought I am missing an in built setting somewhere to hide the notification bar. lol

I need an app which can dial phone number being in background and just show me a small icon om the screen.
So that I can continue my work while dialing numbers.
Some overlay type dialer.

Where can i find these apps?
Xhalo floating Windows is an xposed module, you will need to be rooted and have the xposed framework installed in order to use the module. Information about all of this including file downloads can be found here on XDA Developers. Rocket dial is a dialer replacement app that can be found in the play store.

thanks just downloaded xHalo, but not working for stock phone app, for some reason play store isn't working here, i'll check it with rocket dial when it starts working.
Another way of achieving this would be to use Widget Windows, and Simple Dialer Widget, both can be found on the play store.
Widget Windows allows you to create a floating window of any widget you have installed, you can customize size and transparency.
Simple Dialer Widget is just that, a dialer widget that is minimal in design and offers dial pad, call log, and contacts tabs.
Floating widgets created through Widget Windows can be minimized to an icon that can be freely moved anywhere on your screen. Tapping the icon will re expand the widget.
You can use another program called Custom Notifications to pin a shortcut of the Simple Dialer floating widget to your notification panel for easy access.
