Just wondering if it's possible with the new touchwiz. I saw a demo of the USB otg on YouTube and noticed that it was landscape there. Anybody.
Btw, searched high and low and couldn't find anything about it.

Im new to the xda forums and i noticed something after i had completed the 2.2 update htc released this weekend. The evo goes into landscape left or right, whereas to the best of my knowledge it had only done left before i haddent seen any other posts about this, but had heard some gripes that it only worked to the left. Give it a try and let me know if it works for you.
thanks
Thats a new feature of 2.2. You are correct, 2.1 did not have that capability out-of-the-box. (you had to be running a custom ROM).
i use launcher pro so i can have landscape on my home screen. any way to do this with the sense ui with the froyo update?
that would be ideal, landscape on the home screen is the only thing missing...where ive noticed video playback has increased is on webpages and with the flash you view all the embeded videos on webpages, youtube.com is far nicer than the youtube app by far an faster from what i can tell
I'm pretty sure this is USB Rom which is based on CyanogenMod and Timur's USB Host kernel yes?
Is there anything special about this other than flashing the ROM and putting background images and shortcuts? And obviously adding a few apps to suit.
Are there any special apps not in the ROM to make it look like this? Other than the apps he has shortcuts to obviously.
I'm looking for a minimalist UI for car install and currently purchasing a Nexus 7 (2012 or 2013 I'm not sure yet).
Sorry for the poor screen capture. Was in a rush and the quality of the video was poor anyway.

Just a bump for a response.
So any idea if this also has a particular launcher? Running on USB Rom
Hello, so I started playing with my new VR. I know some sites seem to have a dedicated VR mode, however I am unsure how it works on youtube? I know once I go full screen, I have options for 360, 180, and couple 3d setting modes, but those do not seem to really look right.
So just wondering what advice might be out there?
Lets say I want to see a Miku concert or something in 3d (kinda like the PSVR has) anyone have an idea? Thanks. =D
Im surprised. No one here uses it more for 3d vids?
I am in the same boat, i dont know how to use it in youtube
The trick used with earlier versions was to start the Google Cardboard app and then place the phone in the headset WITHOUT fully connection the USB connection. This prevents the phone from starting the Oculus app.
You may find better explanations by searching for '"Google Cardboard" "Gear VR".'
Yea but its odd since youtube once you hit full screen, gives you more 3d options. So just kinda wondering.
Hello, this is an old issue that I tried looking up in the past, didn't find anything and forgot. It seems to have happened when I received an update for my Android (to 5.0.2 current, a long while ago), however I can't be certain, as I use the mode very rarely. But I'm fairly sure this has to be cause. The button to view a VR Panorama picture in 3D I made is just gone. I can't view any of them, be it old ones I made when it still worked or new ones I make now. Taking VR Panorama pictures still works fine, but I just can't view them in 3D mode, only the composite 2D picture.
Can anyone at least confirm that with a 5.0.2 stock ROM you can still make and view VR Panorama pictures? Or have an ideas about this or even help me fix this? I have some nice ones made in the past that I can't make any more and I'd really like to be able to view them again.
Thanks for any insight.
I'm talking about the normal and contrast mode. The normal mode is essential tonne as is the only mode trying to be accurate when watching sdr content.
Almost no one mention this in their and is difficult to find in the threads.
Has anyone find one asop rom that has this ability?
