R800x (CDMA) Sin Files

Hope this will help make a root possible for our Verizon Plays. I am willing to flash my phone if someone makes a solution.

I don't even know what these files are but I hope it helps lol
Why do people even have the verizon version of the play? In my opinion I doubt that root will ever happen nevermind unlocking the bootloader for those phones, the amount of time and effort it would take would be crazy. I would personally get a different one

because all in all it is a really nice phone, on par with the other 1GHz phones out there on the Verizon network just sacrificed 2-8GB of internal storage for a slide out controller.
Motorola locked out their bootloader but you still see people attempting to get past them, what makes this phone any different? OMG it has a GAMEPAD.
Either someone will figure it out or not, no use *****ing about what people picked, it was their decision. I am surprised my old piece of crap Eris had the following it did. Someone will figure it out. As this was mentioned before, for there being 1 CDMA model to the what 8 GSM versions it will just take a little longer then normal.
Or the GSM side will just spit in the CDMA side of it's face and attempt to forget about it, Either way it is still an amazing phone.

My wife got a Droid 3 and I was green with envy.... dual core OMAP... HDMI out... (no 4g in our area yet)... HUGE internal memory... amazing keyboard... until I tried to play Nova on it using the touch screen controls...
Gamepad all the way baby!!!

Possible to use the Shift on Verizon? Boost?

I've been searching Google and XDA both but can't even find anyone else ASKING about this let alone doing it. I had a Sprint Touch Pro once that I got working on Verizon using instructions I found on XDA.... would I be able to do the same with the Shift? The only keyboard android device we have is the Droid 1/2/3 and I can't stand those phones. The Shift is just about perfect but I'm not leaving Verizon anytime soon....
so, can the Shift be modified to run on Verizon? A coworker said it could be hacked to run on Boost Mobile, would the same principles apply?
From my understanding its near impossible to activate a sprint phone on verizon without knowing someone on the inside.... I could be wrong though. I know Verizon would need to add the ESN to their database.

well, I can say you definitely don't need to "know anyone on the inside". When I activated the Sprint Touch Pro on Verizon, it was just me and the instructions I found on XDA. I don't remember all the steps, I had to use a program via my laptop to change pst settings, and I THINK I had to flash the Verizon ROM? That would probably be the road block to getting the shift onto Verizon getting the ESN into the Verizon system was as simple as activating via *228. I know I didn't have to actually speak with anyone...
Like I said, I could be wrong. Just my .02. Hopefully you can becsuae my shift is 10 times better than my dads droid 2.

HTC Evo 4G LOCKED(OOW)

I just got this HTC Evo 4G from a friend for $30 bucks and I wanted to root it. When I went to the Bootloader screen,on top it says LOCKED(OOW).I already search what is means,it means that my phone is locked and is out of warranty. The phone was Remanufactures by Asurion. My question is, can I still root the phone? I read that using Captains guide I will be able to root it.But I can't find that guide. If anybody can help or give me suggestions I will appreciate it.Thanks

Is my phone hacked?

Hello,
Not sure if this is even the right place to post but I believe my phone was hacked and would like help with how to verify this.
My boss and some friends of hers have keyed my car and other childish things but now messing with someone's phone, network, and personal records, besides being illegal is beyond ridiculous.
Can anyone help me find out if they did gain access? Phone is Verizon HTC One M8, was rooted, S-off, unlocked bootloader, stock rom. I have done a reset via TWRP. Have not completed rooting with SuperSU, don't even know if I should.
Stupid question but is it better to get a new phone, get a new sim, or neither?
Thanks in advance for any help.

i think you can try to unroot your phone and the hacking software will report failed.
the other way is try the secure software to scan your phone.
btw
You can look for active keyloggers or maybe a metasploit file u dont reconize. If someone is taking ur info see if u can get kali that mjght help

Conative719-how does one look for those, and in the "For Dummies" version, please
If that doesn't work will try Evanzhou2000's suggestion.

To see if u have any of those what i would do is downdload the latest es file explorer or vet defender virus protecter the metasploits r kinda hardwr to find but i think one way is does it take screen shots alot?

Like the phone? Then buy another one for the $80-$120 they are on ebay, and then sell the one you own now. Don't connect to wifi that they may have access to. Might not be simple but if you legit think you've been hacked, stop using the phone you think is hacked then. Extremely simple.

ZTE ZMax One Z719DL r00t?

I don't see a whole lot of info about this phone anywhere, I am wondering if there is anyone working on rooting this model. It is a Straight Talk/Tracfone. Mid grade phone. It is pretty decent not too bad. Would love to get it rooted/custom recovery and so on. Just looking for more info.
did you find?
I been looking also, my email is [email protected] And can message me on here also to make sure I get to response.
