It depends on the version of the app I think. There are different versions for GB and ICS. On ICS scores of 1600 are pretty decent (an HD2 definitely couldn't manage it)
The thread is in the wrong forum m8.
Btw, you should do the benchmark 3 times before posting the results for more accurate results.

Moreover, i think it's pointless. Great idea, but pointless.
Benchmark i only a number. It's not a PC or even laptop, where you have to have decent performance to, let's just say, render a model.
In smartphones it's about usability, stability and feel. And these can't be measured by a simple benchmark.

Benchmarking roms is useless and a bit boring imo, but if someone finds it funny... At least it should be done better!
The dorimanx for example must be tested with tweaks on it or you have a fake score!
The funny thing is that some dorimanx tweaks distort benchmarks
+1 YZ : Please move this 3d in the right section

Overclocking the GPU isnt possible manually, its part of the kernel (I think)
The new adreno libs are drivers released for ur adreno gpu by the manufacturer, Qualcomm. The ICS libs have been implemented directly into the ICS Tom's whereas the Adreno200 libs have a flashable zip.
Btw 1390 with Antutu is quite low. What rom are u on?

Which libs are u using?
No its not possible. The Blade has an arm6 CPU of 600 MHz. Clocking it to 844 MHz causes reboots. Clocking to 1500 (which is theoretically impossible since no kernel supports that) will literally cause the phone to explode
Libs from this topic.

CM 7.2 RC3
O/C 710
This test was done using Antutu Benchmark.
I did 3 tests using the Chainfire driver, but using a OC Kernel, the diference is pratically null. In pratice, using Chainfire driver the results is worse, in all kernels tested.
The firts test i use MIRACLE ROM V3 and after using CM7.2 cooper signed, but the results don't was expressive differents. This results are the mean of 3 test each kernel.
All the tests was done using the same device and the same sd card installing only new kernel code. Some results may be worng, sorry for that...
My next test will be of the battery drop. I'm not a judge, this is only for comparate and analyse for your future update in some kernel based these kernels for you enjoy the best of each.
Original kernel is the results of the Original kernel in CM7.2 cooper signed.

This happens with OC kernel? Because it has two frequencies, 806 and 787.
Thanks for this interesting info!
The biggest differences are SD read/write performance (original kernel very slow) -- however note this does not affect database I/O at all!!! Is there some cache at play here?
With the default 800MHz value in stock kernel, It is actually 787MHz
There was a post describing how kernels calculate a thing called PLU and such which makes it's actually 787

I could be wrong, but..
DATABASE I/O - This is the speed of input and output signals (Processor and ROM) and not the speed of acess files and folders in sd card. The test in sd card varies, so i include the line with Exclude SD Results.
Good work. You actually bothered to contribute to the community! Even though some may say benchmarks are useless, its still a widely used tool. And there is no better way to test

You're welcome. That would be great.
Great!
Thks friends.
I had assumed database I/O was combined file read/write along with CPU etc. -- sqlite uses filesystem based files so it should also be testing file access, but again this may be cached and therefore that is the difference to the read/write benchmarks? The Antutu website gives no technical description of what their tests do — very disappointing...
so ketut's kernel is better? i was going to try skynet28`s modificated by gorolegov in vo-1 (24.4.12)
should i change it or i keep with ketut's kernel?

I'm not judging any of these kernels, but for me, Blackhawk was more stable and showed a great performance. You can download them and draw their conclusions. Both improve the performance of the device! They're great work!

I think so. It makes no sense to me he do a test database I / O, and then read and write to SD card, if the test I / O is being tested on the SD card.
Hi dude, can u test this kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1658911, on miracle rom?
It's always interesting to compare the Antutu scores of our devices (tweaked or not tweaked), even if doesn't necessarily reflect the real user experience.
Advices before to perform the test:
- reboot your device
- wait for 10 mn
- do it

I don't know why I can get only 2000+ "android runtime" score in [email protected] as I can get 3000+ in official stock.
That caused my score only 38000~39000...

Ok. Google "Optimized Dalvik" and install it. Why? Because Qualcomm have made a special dalvik version to maximize the power of Snapdragon. And this is for only stock ROM, not AOSP. CM using normal version so it's dont use the full power of our phone
Optimized dalvik is faster than ART too

yaeh i know that patch, but i got 3000+ runtime score(it's a normal score,i dont know the patched score) without it in stock rom.And they say the patch/function is included in CM rom so this patch can not be installed in CM/ASOP rom,but i dont know if it's true.

but how you guys overclock the z1 to have 44K score?!!??
i adjusted min:1.3 max:2.8 performance/dancedance/smatassV2 gpu freq @ 650Mhz and antutu score was 32K !!

Seems unfathomable LOL overclocked but gave lower score than stock
Did you test after a fresh reboot?
I can't think of any scenario where a z1 should be scoring under 35k, fresh out the box is usually 37-38k

Yeah the highest I managed to get with a Z1 at 2.8 GHz CPU, 650 MHz GPU, performance mode, all cores forced on etc was 39k. Stock was about 33k.
LOL, I think my setting it's simple, none of you guys haven't testing and tuning and setting again?
So far with my record , our device is 4th place, still behind MIPAD (tegra K1), 1+1 and some chinese tablet (damm they are fast, but without thermal throtting and cheat )

Upgrade ANTUTU 5.0.
34K is a former version score.Maybe u can get 37~39K in the latest version @default frequency like me.
My setting? Criskelo or KitSlim AMG, trinity kernel 1.9 (lol if 2.3 was fixed buggy oc I swear that I will achieve 47k ), KSM, slightly oc and vr 4096. Also some private tweak....
