Request: q&a

So, most other phones have a q&a section, so why dont we? That would probably keep people from posting questions in development. Thanks!

But a Q & A thread in the General section isn't a bad idea - some questions have absolutely nothing to do with development, and everything to do with the already-developed.
And some questions don't need an entire thread, just one post to ask and one post to answer. Topics worthy of a full guide should then be the only questions with dedicated threads (and the OP can update the first post as new information comes in, compiling it all in one easy to find place)

Also if you have a separate section for Q/A, you can differentiate between different topics, instead of searching through the Q/A topic on the Dev section. Not to sound lazy, but it would be easier to search via topics in a specified Q/A section.

The hero has a q&a section, and it made things a lot easier to ask questions because no one was on your ass for being curious about something.

I have seen countless amounts of topics that are always moved because of confusion, or get bagged on for asking something dumb.
With a Q&A section, people would be free of asking a question, and with all the questions in one place, it may be easier to find the topic you're looking for.

Thank my post if you want a seperate q&a section like the nexus s, evo, captivate, hero, etc. has!

Ok, I got a pm from an admin and he said that he can't control if the Epic gets a q&a and that there are requirements to get one. Sorry guys

How is it a scapegoat? No one cares enough for someone to be blamed or there to be fall out.
Please just add a Q&A board. It would definitely cut down on the stupid froyo topics and the like.

ya sure. being a social animal we all should respect each other. never know who will be helping first when we are in trouble.
xda should put a main thread where users can interact. just out of topic thread. i meen to share.personal problems, comments, what they like/ unlike. just social matters only. no techinical matters. i hope it will make us close. what you think?

ya you are correct. but why cant we think like this" the are acting like this becoze they are not close to xda. " so can we request to start a thread like that to any moderator? . i have been a member of several forums. only few have thread like that. and i hope xda should start one. as it is the largest forum in internet based on a hot os. will it be nice?

XDA giffgaff thread.

So, I decided to make this thread for anyone here at XDA with questions concerning giffgaff, who don't want to go to the giffgaff community.
You could live abroad and have questions on giffgaff, or you may just have a question.
I am an avid community member, and I am often updated with information.
Sorry if this isn't allowed, but I don't see why it shouldn't be.

I opened a giffgaff thread myself a while back but it got closed by Archer because this is a development site, not a place to push commercial enterprise. ( His words, not mine)
I'm sure this one will have the same fate.

It's been awesome guys. Especially the devs. Thanks for keeping the EVO relevant. My upgrade has come and my EVO has gone. Maybe some devs from the EVO I will see in the GSIII forum.
