So now since its a more stable CM6 rom out yessss!! Lol when will themes be available and also to do theme development is there any differences from doing it for the regular roms or are they all the same

Once we get a rc1 instead of a nightly i will start my devolpment of themes on cm. The maib difference between a theme for a tw rom and a cm rom is the lack of twfranework and the aosp apps

koo man i been wanting to hit u up again but wanted to wait till christmas was over dont like being a bother im learning TW now thanks to dreams forgotten and others but i would love to learn both and my first initial thought was CM must be easier kool

There are a lot of advantages to an aosp rom like cm6 put foremost (at least for me) is that without the added bloatware your phone is blazingly fast. Also, there are native color fixes and a built in equalizer. Finally, support for bluetooth input devices like a wiimote. But again, speed. For the record, pre cm6 I got a 943 ib quadrant and post I got a 1697. Its ****ing quick.

Oh thank god! I was getting tired of all the gingerclones. This is awesome! ASOP Froyo look is so much more prettier than ASOP Gingerbread. Can't wait to see your work. One request though. can you put in the email app without the exchange security? If not that is cool, but I hate having to put a pin in because my company says so.

But really, always glad someone can break the mold around here. As mentioned above, almost every one of these ROMs are blending right into each other. Don't get me wrong, the developers do a great job, but I'm getting sick of green haha

FYI- there's no "Cano" in Mortal Kombat. There's a "Kano," if that's what you mean. If you wanted to leave it spelled with a 'c,' you could always name it after the Yankees' second baseman

Can you change led notification lights?

I was curious if you can change the led notification lights on an evo shift to different colors. I know that on other phones like the touch pro2 and the atrix 4G you can just want to know if you can for the Shift and how.

Nope the shift only has 2 colors......amber and green

I'd be willing to bet that changing the actual hardware LED could be done with some degree of ease. Now that I think of it, I actually know someone that works in a Sprint repair center. I'm sure he could pull it off. I'll see what he has to say about it.

Lol..I just tend to think that the dude made an error and now we've actually created more work for the mods. Not only do they need to move the thread, but now they need to clean it up to make it relevant. I know it was all in good fun though and I'm certainly not here to crash the party.

I might make working flashable version at some point, but if I am the one who does it, it might be awhile as I am pretty busy, and will need to get ahold of my shift to test on.
Although, I'm sure someone with a bit more experience will jump on it before I do.
I posted the One V leak, because it is already scaled for WVGA screens.

This is an RUU of a GSM phone, so getting data working at all won't happen until maybe the shift gets an RUU leak of ICS (or at least the EVO 3D/EVO Design)

NRGZ Sense Rom

Well here goes gentleman. I'm posting this up at the request of a few other members. One of whom contacted NRGZ to see if he would port one of his Roms over to the Shift. The Rom that he is thinking about porting over to the Shift is on THIS Thread. It is Sense 3.5. I've tried it on the OG EVO 4G , and it is quite nice. So if you want another Dev to possibly work on the Shift. POST UP . The link to the thread will be sent to him, and he'll be checking to see if there is any interest.

Yes yes prboy is correct this ROM Is awesome and runs great on my OG evo and I really hope you guys are as happy with this ROM as I am... Thank you again PR for starting this thread .... And many many thanks too NRGZ28 for his time for porting Thiis over I know the shifters will love it... Give thanks to him he doesn't even hAve Sprint service but is taking his time to keep the shift moving...
