One request though. can you put in the email app without the exchange security? If not that is cool, but I hate having to put a pin in because my company says so.

FYI- there's no "Cano" in Mortal Kombat. There's a "Kano," if that's what you mean. If you wanted to leave it spelled with a 'c,' you could always name it after the Yankees' second baseman

When are we going to get something new to flash? I've been jones'n for like a month now. What is next on the horizon for EPIC users? I need a tease to at least wet my whistle. It's been too damn quiet on the new custom roms front!
You could always make something yourself if you want to flash something so badly. The devs here work hard with what little they have to work with and are, quite frankly, terribly underappreciated.

Clearly he's following the everything's ok theme.
I can understand your anxiousness in wanting to have a new rom to experience but truthfully... we have what we need. Either acs or midNIGHT should be enought to keep you happy on your epic. If you want something to look forward to think about gingerbread and our epics finally being pushed to they're max. After gingerbread, if its light on bugs that is, the epic will finally reach its limits.

Agreed. I have had a rooted moment hero and now epic and I can say I've never been as happy as I am now runing ec05 with syndicate. Works flawlesly. Think where we started before we had froyo and the gps didn't work. lol this phone has come a long way in a short period. Thanks too all the devs

Dreamsforgotten, last I talked to k0nane personally on the night of the ACS/INC start he told me Dreams was knee deep in smali code (theming) for the Nexus 4g..
So we definitely have a lot of important pieces missing to the big Epic 4g puzzle... I sure hope one day they all come back so we can finish this picture.
We still have some great themers and developers, plus many new in the last month or so up and comers that have made a great impact on the scene so we are going to all have to pull together and do the best with who/what we have. Everything will be fine.
Now more than ever everyone needs to work together, hand in hand and share to make future GB and the last of EC05 development the best it can be for the Epic 4g.

Personally, I didn't like either of the nextgen roms. Without Sombionix they don't seem to be able to do much. Sombionix did say he was working on something but nothing ever came of it.

+1 on this. They don't seem to know jack squat but the developers always seem to find solutions to the issues.

I think they are creating multiple builds in a day so they have to use future dates to name them. I look at it as a positive, they are making an effort to finish this one.
I've been back on EC05 rooted for a few days now. It's much more sluggish than Gingerbread, but everything works and NO REBOOTS!

You know, I have the HTC Hero, and the first time we got moved to legacy devices there were so many people causing an uproar that they moved us back out.
