No Data Connection after flashing!!

Hey guys, i have flashed to a few ROMs in the past and my phone would always give me the trouble of no data connection. My tmobile wing is hard spl and running currently on papa's black diamond. whenever i tried to go to the comm manager to activate the data connection, it just wont turn on while other buttons i have no problem turning on such as wlan and bluetooth.
i've also tried launching internet but it just says there's no data connection and ask me to go to settings. i still can make calls but just completely no data connections. i have also soft resetted it several time and no luck. =/
help would be great!
ps. i've looked up several other threads with the same problem, however, theres really nothing under connections except add new so it didnt help much.

I think you have to use the Network Wizard. If it is not in that rom, can install it using the cab, it's should be around this forum.

thanks live! but i'm not sure which network wizard cab file works and which doesnt.. so a friend helped me set it up manually. thanks though!!

yes my fone is having the same problem and now i cant flash to a new rom

i flashed for the first time yesterday, and had the same problem. just call tmobile and tell them somehow your data connection information has deleted, and they will run u through what to put in the fields. and don't forget to go to the network wizard, to make sure its on the right network.

Same problem except it WAS working (my gprs/edge) until I added my first wlan entry.. of my apartment's wifi which works. But after I was done using it i turned the wlan off from comm manager and expected to see the big E for edge and instead just see the two arrows with the little x under it. I can no longer connect to gprs/edge. If i open the internet explorer to view a page, it flashes a "G" with the arrows like it's trying to connect forever. At that point it will not even let me make or receive calls until I reboot the ppc. Network wizard won't fix it as I've already tried, twice... no change. My data connection for T-mobile is set up already under "connections tab" but it just doesn't work. My best guess is something has gone wrong in the registry... but as much as I've searched for this kind of problem I find nothing... just stuff how to fix wlan problems. btw, i'm on tmobile. Oh, it won't even activesync if my wlan is off now... I have to enable the wlan and let it connect to my home network... and THEN it will go through activesync without error. This is nuts, I already hard resetted once because of this and now it's the same story. Maybe it's just a prob with the opentouch 6.5 nofrills version that's just basic and let's the users add their own apps.

Program issues with Touch Cruise

Ok guys, I recently switched from a Hermes to a Touch Cruise. Everything worked perfectly on my old phone, but now I have issues with some of the programs I used on it. None of the browsers (IE, Opera, Opera Mini, or Minimo) will connect using WiFi. The only way they will connect online is via Active Sync, or GPRS.
Any tips or suggestions?

i had the same problem. i called htc romania(i thought that my wifi module was down) and they told me to delete all the wifi settings. long tap on every AP in the list and choose remove settings. then connect to every AP you find... it should work. at least it worked for me.

I deleted all AP settings, rebooted my phone and my router. Still no luck. Anyone got any other suggestions?

WiFi is grayed out

Why is my WiFi connection option grayed out? Now I can not activate my WiFi. What caused this and how do I fix this? Thanks for any help you guys can give me on this problem.

you you have the hd2 pluged in to your pc ?
this will stop wifi from working.

Ok I have gotten my WiFi connection solved, but now I can not connect to the internet through my WiFi.

I have been having exactly the same problem! Even when the HD2 is not connected to my laptop the Wi-Fi stops being greyed out but does not switch on. The only way is going to Settings - Menu - All Settings - Connections - Wi-Fi and then tick the Turn on Wi-Fi. Wait around a minute until it connects... sometimes
I have the original T-Mobile 1.43 Rom (got my mobile only last week) and on the first two days it worked fine when connecting to my home Wi-Fi. But suddenly it just started doing its own thing. Most of the time I have the Wi-Fi icon showing but if I try and go online I just get an error message asking me to "check my data connection and try again".
The only modification I made was installing some of the wonderfull .cabs tested and tried on the HD2 by tboy2000 and by smaberg. Amazingly, the only one that did not work properly was the Touch X reset and wifi.cab; the Reset was OK but the Wi-Fi Toggle didn't respond. I am going to try and reinstall.

Well, reinstalled the .cab, but I think that was not the problem. When I press the Wi-Fi Toggle and wait for around 50 to 60 seconds it actually connects - for a while - and then freezes.
If I press the Wi-Fi Toggle again it disconnects from the Internet. I actually went back every single time to check Settings (Wi-Fi box would respond accordingly) and All Settings - Connections - Wi-Fi and (un)ticked Turn on Wi-Fi box. So, the Wi-Fi Toggle works fine. But there's the freezing thing that I don't know where it comes from!

aiwama, I simply shut my phone done completely and then turned it back on after a few seconds, tried it and it worked just fine and its been working ever since. Hope it works for you also.

4.4.2 WiFi wont find any networks ..

Pretty odd, up until yesterday it worked great but suddenly my WiFi cant find any networks.
It only works when i installed the application "Wifi Manager". Only with the app i can find and connect to WiFi networks, which means the WiFi is alive and well, but without this app, and only using the WiFi on the Settings menu i cant connect or find any network.
I tried to Wipe Cache and Davlik, issue persists.
Any suggestions regarding the issue ?

Slow WiFi connection after receiving August 2016 update

Hi All,
Need help on how to fix my wifi connection. I received the August 2016 update on my s7e and after installing it, seems that any app I open that needs wifi connection tooks forever to load like youtube and instagram. When I tried to switch on my LTE, everything is loading fine. And tried it also on office wifi, seems everything is fine also. Connection at home works well with other devices. its just slow on my phone after the update.
tried to change the channels on my ac router but still encountering the same. i tried also to forget the wifi on my phone and connect again, reset network settings and still having slow connection.
Please help what other things i need to try to restore the wifi connection. I'm avoiding the restore factory settings as it will took a while for me to restore everything on my phone.
