Hello,where can i look the cpu temperature?x8 hasnt got cpu sensor,only for battery...

You said it. This is not PC cpu with termal sensors.

maybe he dissasembled his x8 and put on some 3rd party sensors

Tiamat kernel w smartass governor

It was suggested somewhere in the general forum not too long ago that the newer Linux kernels are less battery efficient, at least with respect to the Evo, and I tend to agree.
With constant use I was able to only use 10% connected to Wifi but now it's nearly 20% use, again in a constant setting on Wifi.
You can try running an app like "watch dog lite" and seeing if an app is causing an issue.
You can do this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=712990 which really works.

Overclock

If anyone out there has overclocked there phone, does it still run well after a few months etc.
I plan on rooting and overclocking to 1.5ghz (on demand) and just want to know if it will wreck the phone after months of use. I am aware overclocking is not recommended for long periods but just want to see if people have had hardware issues after prolonged overclocking..

Its not the clockspeed you need to worry about. It's voltages that can damage the H/W.

Well the higher the clockspeed the higher the voltage. Kernels like doomlords allow you to undervolt though. Keep in mind if you reduce voltage too much though, device will become unstable and reboot alot

Im currently running at 1.5GHz and have IncrediControl running undervolt at 1200 (tested for few hours seems OK so far)
Does this mean I am correctly undervolted and are these settings ok for battery life/temp etc

If it has been running well so far, I don't think you need to worry.

Just wanted to make sure undervolting doesnt cause damage to the cpu and battery

Undervolting wont damage the CPU. As long as it's stable, the less voltage the better

sometimes the screen goes half from one side
or it does down i.e the app drawer it show it up
with few words i wanna say the screen is messed up

Governor SmartAssv2,
Cpu 691mhz max,
Tick Underovlt,
Tick set on boot.
Reboot.
Or Try different Launcher. [Not Sure]
Key is no need to OC.
If Still doesnt work, Go back to 2.3.

VOLTAGES

Ive installed a custom rom (foxhound) but my volts stay between 4150-4250 is this normal. thanks

I don't think he's talking about cpu voltages, none are that high.

He's talking about battery voltages, which are normal on a charged phone without load.

On android assitant is reading on battery 4150 -4250 mv. my temps r normal. has going down 3700-3850 mv.

im getting around 4328 mv with full charge. may be you can go a bit higher.

wot temps do u get on charge im getting up to 46 on charge. thats with the offical charger.
