Gonna cut a long story short, first time poster but long time flasher
I managed last night to accidently over right my .nv_data.bak Backup just after i realised i had accidently deleted the one from the /efs folder, result was either corrupt imei or No service, actually no service either way.
Was in the middle of trying to get it back running (sgs tools reported my backup attempts as ok but were deleated on reboot due to permission probs)
When the 2.2 appeard in kies (hacked reg) so i though whats to lose, froyo got me into this mess to start with.
Ran the update and everything is now working almost perfect!
The one problem i have is Internal SD card apears not mounted? But Camera you name it writes to it no problem, Windows has full access to it.

Seams like you got lucky this time! Remember to be more careful next time
After rooted the official gingerbread my device was never the same.
Let me try to explain what is happening to see if someone can help.
Official roms:
When I turn my device to PC via USB and then choose the option Mount USB Storage what happens is in the device the Android stays Green with the option below to mount storage, the SD card is apparently un-mounted from device but in the PC I can see the SD card content normally and see it as a removable storage drive
Custom roms:
When I turn my device to PC via USB and then choose the option Mount USB Storage what happens is in the device the Android stays Green with the option below to mount storage, the SD card is apparently un-mounted from device but in the PC I can see the SD card content but can’t make any changes as it opens up as a CD drive. Imagine you put a CD/DVD in your drive you can see all the files but you cannot write on it.
What can I do as seems to be a deep system alteration that won’t change by doing anything at all such as flashing new roms, changing complete content of pink screen, factory resets, etc, etc.
Can someone plz help me with this?
try this with cm7
settings->about phone->project menu->USE GOOGLE USB
I stuck with 2.3 official again!!!
I think I going to deliver my phone to TMN and say that got ****ed up after official upgrade instalation
I've read somewhere that the TMN ones (or some of them) are called "black sheep" since they have some problems (installing other roms I think), maybe your problems where there all along and the updates brought them to the surface...
Yeah, send it back
Yes I know, but I got lucky as my device is like a Hummer.Mine is not.
Goes over of it all, until I messed up... lolol
druida did you format the sd card on the pc and chnage the partition size?
I have the device partitions resized months ago.
yes card was formated and formated and formated.

I have a so called "black sheep" and official 2.3.5 is rooted and runnin' flawlessly.
try revert to 2.2.2 using internal sd card.
I got it at last doing this:
Dial * # * # 2846579 # * # *
Background Setting > USB ports setting > choose "Normal Mode" and then rebooted.
The option that was by default and was giving me all this trouble was "Manufacture mode".
Tried to choose "Google Mode" but after reboot revert back to "Manufacture mode" again.
This way every time I connect the USB and choose the option Mount Usb Storage the SD was getting unmounted in the device but in the PC was showing as removable disk giving me full access.
When I unplug the cable I had to mount the card again.
****ing weird!!!!

no they are not (me +2other friends have such phones). it's hapenning the same as before: people messing up.
Well, this problem is not related to 2.3.5 update, but with updates in general, 'cause i have it about a month ago. Same thing as you, but if U use a 2.2 custom ROM (flb or void) you should mount usb properly. If U go to device manager you will see that the drivers aren't properly installed.
Altough I don´t know the exact time, i think my probelm begins when after flashing a ROM I got the blue screen and needed to install b138 elisa. I guess after we get a blue screen the phone never is the same.
BTW i got 0 imei. And have an theory to this to. The IMEI are related to an operator, so when flashing a official rom not from operator, maybe the phone goes crazy and the IMEI begins to shown 0, it's not a big deal, since we can communicate normally with people.
so how do I install the drivers correctly?
I found a way to revert from 2.3 and I'm in MIUI again but USB issue still there shiiiiiiit

I d0n't lnow, i don't have an solution, I install some drivers that are in huawei server, but with no luck.
The main point is: using a 2.2 rom, all ok, upgrade to a 2.3 rom, and U have problems, so the problem it's not on pc and in hardware, the problem somehow is software.
What I'm wondering it's that the official 2.3.5 help with this problem, but with your report the hope dissapear...
yes the problem is in the device nt in PC.
I think its missing the adb USB drivers inside the device.
and yes its software problem not hardware
Druida69,
Is your IMEI 0 ?
Do you have wifi ERROR in 2.3 Custom Roms ?
I have that USB problem since I tried to format SD Card directly from the mobile, with CM7... all problems started there... and there is another user over here that made the same with MIUI.

ME! Me Me! lol
I have this problem, but don't have problems with wi-fi, my imei is 0 also, but if you use custom or stock 2.2 the usb works fine, so don't think that the problem is caused by formating the sd... I guess is that the libraries in 2.3 somehow changed, i guess the libraries from geno changed a while ago, and therefore this bug appears. It's not for everyone 'cause we all know that x5 have personnality, so...
regarding IMEI yes its 0.
I don't know when it happen and how it was before as I never look for it, up to this moment.
Regarding the USB, I think start to happen when I tried to root the official 2.3.
All drivers in computer are fine as I uninstall them and install all again just to make sure.
Something change something deep inside the phone software and mess all of it.
I manage to do a shortcut though. In official 2.3 you can mount usb storage again if you do this:
dial *#*#2846579#*#*
then you will be inside Project Menu.
Go to Background setting > USB ports setting and you will see these options:
Normal Mode
Google Mode
CTS test mode
Manufacture mode
Authentication mode
Other Mode
By default all systems are with Google Mode activated.
Change to Normal Mode and it solve the problem.
If you try to change this option in CM7 for example, won't work, odd but I don't know why...
Hello !
This USB issue happens to me since CM7 (imei 0, wifi error...). And it happens with all roms (even 2.2.2 stock rom)
I can use usb storage, but in the end I have to manualy mount card again.
With 2.3.5 Official I went into Project Menu and was already in Manufacture Mode, if I change it to Google Mode everything works normally... but after a reset setup returns back to Manufacture Mode.
It is a solution... temporary... but it is
why dont u switch back to cm7 or oxygen and give it a try . surely there is some problem with official 2.3 , mine sometimes says " sd card damaged and stuff .format ... As I said before, this problem, regardeless appears more often now, it's not related with the update to official 2.3.5 since I and at least to people more, have this problem before official beta rom appears... It is related to the process of upgrading any rom, and I think it happens when we get a pink screen...
Hi
An FAQ thread for Blade users.
Credits to StevenHarperUK
This is a guide to cover most of the common problems.
It contains some words like ROM and Build.props and RECOVERY. PM me if u can't understand anything
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--I want to know whet generation of phone I have
[GEN1] or [GEN2]
There are now 2 Generations of the ZTE-BLADE device. Each have a different style memory
layout.[GEN1] BLADES use the baseband of 0x02A00000 and can use all of the ROMS made [GEN2]
BLADES use the baseband of 0x02600000 Trying to install a GEN1 ROM onto a GEN2 device will
brick it. GEN1 devices can be recovered and converted with a TPT
--How to find out what BLADE you have (GEN1 or GEN2)
You need to install this app Ask Mr Pigfish When you run the APP the first line will be
Mr.Pigfish says you have a Gen1 model
--How do i root my phone
ZTE Blades with Android 2.2 or lower can be rooted using z4root mod. If it doesnt work, or you have 2.3
blade there is a How to root thread in the Blade Android Development section
--How do i install a rom
-Download the Rom
-Download GoogleAps (CyanogenMod only)
-Backup your data using software like Titanium Backup
-Install clockworkmod recovery from Rom manager
-Boot into recovery (Power + volume down)
-wipe data/factory reset
-wipe cache
-install zip from sdcard option ---> select your rom
-do the same for GoogleApps
-reboot (first boot takes a while)
--The Custom ROM wont Boot Properly. Gets Stuck at the Animated/non-animated boot
screen.
This can be because of a few things You have installed a new ROM and need to clear you cache
and factory reset You installed a Theme or patch without letting the new Custom ROM boot
first The ROM you flashed was damaged when downloading - check with md4sum - re-download and
re-flash. Your SD card is in a very bad state Your SIM has a pin card (effects some of the
early 2.2)
--I want to change my partition sizes
Doing this will require a TPT. These can be made or downloaded using the App TPT helper from
the Play Store ( as of now, there is NO TPT for Chinese Blades )
--I Want to send my Phone back to the Operator - how do I make it back to stock?
The best way to do this is to run a TPT which has been made for your operator's original
ROM. A TPT that is built to do this restores the phone to exactly as it comes out of the
factory. This includes BOOT, RECOVERY and SYSTEM partitions. The DATA and CACHE are also
wiped.
--I can not get into Recovery (clockworkmod)
Make sure you are pressing (and holding) the Volume Down button (-). If you Just see some
large text of FTM then you have not installed a Custom Recovery Image yet
--Phone cannot READ/Mount SD Card
1)SD Card is Damaged
2)Card is not formatted correctly. Download - MiniTool Partition Wizard
3)Card not Seated correctly in Holder
4)The Card needs cleaning : take it out and carefully clean it with alcohol (and a
cottonbud)
--Fastboot can not Install ClockworkMod
If you get waiting for device Check USB debugging is on.On windows check drivers. On others,
check your running as root and try other USB ports/ cables. Try using ADB Wireless from the
market. If you get "writing 'recovery': FAILED (status read failed (Protocol error))
android" change the usb cable, and try another USB port.
--I want to get rid of the inbuilt apps but don't feel comfortable installing a ROM
This is possible, you gain root on the device, then use tools to remove the apps. Eg: Root Uninstaller or Titanium Backup
--Have I got TFT or OLED?
Well if you have a UK device you may have OLED If you purcashed it in 2011 you almost
certainly have TFT Both are good- but having a TFT device means that you must avoid non-TFT
compatibe ROMS (All new ROMs are TFT friendly)On some ROMS you can use the Dialer to find
out. Dial *983*24474636# in the dialer. On the Stock Orange ROM Devices that have TFT
Screens have the build Number OUK_P729BV1.0.0B08 (OLED can have this buid also - but rarely)
Devices that have OLED Screens have the build Number OUK_P729BV1.0.0B0. The build Number can
be found in - Settings | About Phone | Build Number
--How can I keep my apps and settings when I install a new ROM?
Before installing a new ROM you can use Titanium Backup to backup all apps you have
installed. After the new ROM has been installed you can restore the apps plus their data (to
keep your Angry Birds progress and scores, for example). The paid-for version of Titanium
Backup allows you backup and then restore many/all apps with the batch command to save time
reinstalling each app individually.
In general, system settings should not be restored on a new ROM. Restoring them can undo the
effect of wiping data/restoring to factory settings before you flashed the new ROM and you
run the risk of incompatible settings causing forced closure of system apps or, even worse,
random reboots of the phone. Contacts can be restored automatically (and safely) by syncing
with your gmail account(settings->accounts & sync and turn on both sync options) - you need
to do this in your old ROM so the data is in place before you install the new ROM. Many
people have reported that SMSs can be restored safely between most ROMs with Titanium
Backup, but other system settings, e.g. wireless access points, may cause problems that may
require the ROM to be reflashed. In all cases you should always use Nandroid backup in
Clockwork to save the state and settings of your previous ROM which will easily allow you to
return to a working state of your previous ROM in case things go wrong.
--How do I remove a custom theme I installed on any ROM, without factory reset?
Simply Re-flash the original ROM over the top in Clockwork. You'll get the original theme
back.
--I want to install a ROM, but remove some of the
included APPs
Simply open the ZIP file you downloaded and browse to /system/app Then remove the APPS you
don't want - be careful, you don't want to remove apps like mms.apk (SMS) and Phone.apk
--Orange SIM card will not make calls, other networks SIM cards work
The phone, as delivered by Courier is barred from OrangeUK's own network until "activated"
If you buy your phone from an Orange shop they are activated (unbarred from the Orange
network) and handed to the purchaser.
--Phone won't boot - only vibrates when I press power
When you try to turn the phone on with the power button you just feeling a quick succession
of vibrations. This means there is not enough power in the battery to boot. Make sure your
phone is plugged into the Adapter and is using the supplied USB cable.
--Wifi Keeps dropping
On 2.1 and leaked 2.2 ROMS - wifi is a real problem. There are many different work-rounds;
however now the kernel source for 2.2 is released - new ROMs don't gave it. Alternatively
there's a Blade wifi fix app available
--Phone wont turn on. It just Buzzes and red light is on back button
Try charging with another cable - your phone is out of battery
--The phone is Not connecting to 3G/ Cant get Data/ Cant send MMS, etc.
If you cannot get data over 2g/3g then your APN setting may be wrong You edit the APN's in
Setting / Wireless & Network Settings / Mobile Network settings / GSM/UMTS Options / Access
Point Names / then click the phones MENU button (hard button) then choose Add APN.
Also check your SIM is 3G
--I am trying to unlock the phone, how do I get to the enter code screen
You can only see this screen by putting in a SIM that is not the same as the ROM you have
expects So if you have a Orange TFT device that is on the standard (stock) ROM, you will
need a SIM that is not Orange (Virgin/TMobile) Once you insert a SIM that is not unlocked
you get the ENTER code screen
--The Phone Wont Read Any SIM Cards
Thickening the SIM with layers of tape (on the non useful side) has proven to work
--Cant make outgoing calls when Wifi is ON
The icon on the the top bar shows 4 reception bars gets a small x on it, the red led flashes
and outgoing calls cannot be made. Switched to airplane mode and back returns the signal -
it only ever does it when wifi is on. This is probably because you are running one
of the leaked Chinese beta kernels. Running a ROM that has a new 2.2 source
Kernel will fix this.
--What is an MD5hecksum
MD5 is a way of checking that the file you have downloaded has not been corrupted in any
way. when you run the MD5sum command against a files the response is the files
"fingerprint". If this differs from the expected MD5, then you need to re-download the file.
MD5 can be checked directly on the device by using a file manager like astro - if you look
at the details of a file an MD5 is generated Windows
Get your md5sum utility from:
http://www.md5summer.org/md5sum.zip
Extract this Zip file contents and put them into the folder you want to run the command in.
--I want to change the files in the system partition
To do this you can use ADB to modify files or Root Explorer
--I Used Factory Reset now my Phone wont boot
Custom ROM resets are best done in clockwork. However you may have problems with
Unsigned Themes. If you have a theme Installed, you may need to re-install the Original ROM
over the top to get it to boot.
--I want to change how my phone's screen looks like / Theme my phone
In any ROM you can change your background(click the MENU hard button when in the home
screen). However some custom ROMs have themes
made for them. There is a whole section on themes and Apps for the ZTE Blade - However the
most themes are specifically matched to a single or a few ROM's. Some themes are simply
applied to launchers that support them - i.e. launcher pro.
Other need to be installed via Clockwork just like a normal ROM - for these you should
always boot the ROM before applying the theme. Also you should always do a clockwork
(nandroid) backup before applying a theme.
--I dont like the keyboard I have
Keyboards on Android can be swapped. To change a keyboard - Activate it in Settings >
Language and Keboard Then in ANY app do a long hold in any text areas wich wold normall show
the keybaord - then choose Input Method
--Bluetooth file Transfer doesn't work properly
Plain vanilla Android has seemingly limited general file transfer capabilities. You can
download market APPS that are far superior. Bluetooth File Transfer (free) Astro File
Manager (free) add the Astro Bluetooth module (free)
--I want to use A2SD but what do I do
Firstly you need a ROM that supports A2SD, next you need to know if it support EXT2/3/4. Now
you need to change the way your SDCard is Partitioned. In Ubuntu use GParted - in Windows
get the home version of partition wizard. Now Copy EVERYTHING off the SD Card. Make the
FIRST partition the FAT32 one (primary partition) - leave 512MB or more for the EXT2/3/4
(where apps will be installed) Now Make Another partition (must be the SECOND) as EXT2/3/4 -
also make this primary. Now mount the Card and copy all your data back to the FAT32 Part -
assuming it fits. When you install/next boot you ROM, the EXT2/3/4 partition will be mounted
as DATA / this is where your apps go from now on.
--I have bought a bigger SD Card and want to swap it into my Phone
If your just using FAT32 (no app2sd) this will be easy. Right Simple - mount the current one
over USB on your Computer (you can do this in Android - or in Clockwork) Copy everything off
onto your computer. Unmount and Swap new card into phone. Remount over USB. Copy everything
back on
--I am upgrading my ROM and don't want to lose my contacts
If you sync your contacts via Google (gmail account), then the contact will be re-
downloaded when you re-enter your Google Account after flashing. You can see your accounts
in Menu > Settings > Account & Sync Otherwise you can go into the Contacts App and choose
Menu > Import Export. The Export will made a new large file with all your contacts in. This
will be written to the root of your SD Card. Import will scan your SD Card and look for any
files that are contact backups.
--I set a BAD SSID in the Wifi Hotspot - now I cannot start Tethering
If you set a SSID on your hotspot to be too long (over 32 characters) or with non valid
characters - then you make it impossible to start the Hotspot. You MUST use ADB to edit the
hotspot name manually
: adb -d shell
: sqlite3 /data/data/com.android.provid
If sqlite3 is not installed on your ROM you can download titanium backup from the market
then use the alternate command
:adb -d shell
:/data/data/com.keramidas.TitaniumBack
--I want to import all my contacts into Gmail - so they can sync with my phone
Google dont tell you anywhere what the Magic format is of their CSV. Copy the first line
from below, then simply add all the contacts you need into the format of the
2nd line Most Spreadsheet programs will let you open the CSV and edit it. Then just import
the file into Google Contacts (selecting a group when you do it) - I suggest a new group.
--How do i get ICS on my phone
There is no official ics for the blade, however, There are several ics roms to choose from. However there is no perfect release and all of them have certain bugs and issues.
--Can I boot more than one rom on a ZTE Blade

Guys feel free to reply with corrections and suggestions so that I can add then to the OP
Thanks to yash_p90 and karthiknr for assistance

Nice.
Good job. You should probably do some formatting. I can help you with that if you want!
Please note that there is no method available to change the partition size on the Chinese Blades. Thus the TPT method won't work. You must mention this in your question "I have changed my partition sizes to have a 128MB system, I want to change it back"
/Sticked. I hope this and the Faq thread I stickied yesterday will offer easy accessible information and resources to the ZTE Blade users. I hope you guys appreciate QuantumFoam and karthiknr effort.

I've a ZTE V889D bought from China. Is this Blade version? When I run Mr Pigfish, it says unknown model. It has similar spec:
http://www.zte.com.cn/cndata/mobile/mobileinfo/201203/t20120329_298335.html
No, that's not a blade. It uses MSM7227A as CPU, that is an ARMv7 (blade uses MSM7227 that is ARMv6). Blade in China is called V880 and that version has only 256mb RAM ( http://www.dealextreme.com/p/zte-v8...dma-3g-single-sim-w-wifi-white-101744?item=24 )
Your phone should be the ZTE Skate Acqua: http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=3403&c=zte_skate_acqua or something very close to it (looks like that V889D has dual sim support, but official Skate Acqua shouldn't have it).

Thanks Quantum !
Few things were total new. Like bluetooth file transfer capability, I thought it's only Blade that is having limited bluetooth profile.
Also can you add a question about swap. I know only poor (256MB RAM) fellows like myself are going to benefit. No issues for me for one plus week of usage without a reboot.

[Q] ***URGENT Help*** ZTE Libra stuck on BootLoop because of insufficient Internal Memory
Hello there,
I have a very big problem and i need urgent help to Recover All data from an ZTE Libra android phone INTERNAL MEMORY who is stuck in Bootloop after ran out of Internal Memory.
I don't have made any backup of my Data.
I don't want to do Factory Reset yet.
I have tried wipe cache partition that don't work for me.
About phone: ZTE Libra bought on amazon, i think is android 2.2 STOCK ROM installed, NOT rooted, USB debugging NOT activated,I can enter Recovery Mode by pressing Power button + Volume Down + Home Button,I can enter FTM mode (Field Test Mode) - i think its called by pressing Power Button + Volume Up, I can connect it to PC - Windows 7 with USB cable in FTM mode and Wondershare Dr Fone Recovery program recognize it but i am stuck on 2nd Step where it ask me to activate USB Debugging and i am not able to do so, I can connect it to PC - Windows 7 with USB cable while is Turned ON and in Bootloop and My PC list it in My Computer but if i click on it is empty - If i click Properties it shows empty also, but it shows there,
PS. I also contacted ZTE Support directly by email and discussed with them about this, and ask them for a solution. i still wait for answer at the moment as they told me so.
After reading all possible forums since Monday i have found some information who make me think there is possible to find a solution, in the forms of some Exploits/Debugging software made by Developers, etc
I try to achieve the followings:
1. I want to fix the Bootloop or restore back the phone to its normal state so i can use it again.
2. I want to recover Phonebook Contacts from the Phone memory, Notepad Notes from the phone, Whatsapp Data from the Phone memory, Bookmarks if possible from Browser, etc
3. I want to know if i can install ClockworkMod recovery from the sd card and install an factory image or update without losing DATA.
4. I have found a script in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2138661&nocache=1
Is possible to fix the boot loop by trying to free some space on the internal memory with this script ????
5. Is possible to install stock rom without wiping data or how to update stock rom without wiping my data ????
Here is some info i have found on some other thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/help/soft-brick-bootloop-stock-recovery-t2806516
" Also search XDA for reactivation lock threads.. some people were claiming that they have found bugs /exploits that may aid you in recovering. You might also be able to dump the data partition from a JTAG interface - but that would be a highly technical, expert level procedure where a misstep could brick your phone.
And as a practical last resort, if nothing else works, try installing a firmware update instead of a full OEM image. That may replace enough system files to fix the boot process and might not delete your user files in the data partition. "
In the last resort i think i reset to factory and then use Wondershare Dr Fone to recover my Data but i have very important Notes and Phone numbers that i want to recover and i want to make sure i can save them.
What happened is:
Monday i was using Whatsapp and after several times getting an error that Whatsapp stop working, and Browser stop working - Internal memory ran Out of Space lt was less than 1 MB just few kb left , i was trying to delete some Voice messages from Whatsapp to create some space because the phone has only 100 MB of Internal Memory and in the last time always tell me it Runs out of Space.
I deleted the voice messages and then i turned OFF the phone in the idea that it will update the memory space and show how much i have left.
When i want to turn ON the phone it got stuck in the Bootloop.
First i did not know what is happening but then i searched on google and found out about this.
Please Help me. I need urgent help from Professionals and Developers, i am willing to pay also to recover my data. Any solutions, there has to exist a solution.
I am waiting for your answer, Thank you so much in advance.

PLEASE HELP
I am trying to recover my data and i need some advice whether to use this methods or no
1 method
I have found a BOOT LOOP zip fix script here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2138661 that can delete apps from the phone in order to fix the boot loop. i am thinking to use this to create some space on the phone since my phone is stuck in boot loop because of insufficient internal memory. I am thinking to delete whatsapp and hope to be able to gain access to the phone so i can save my phonebook, notes, etc and then reinstall whatsapp and recover my messages from whatsapp backup. I need to know if this script work with a phone that is not rooted. i already sent message to the person who posted the thread but still no answer. I need advice if this CAN work or no ??????????????????
2 method

Hi everyone
I got a Wiko Highway (french), Canvas Knight A350 for you
He is slow, freeze, no more space. So i come here to install an updated ROM
2Go internal space for system and 10Go for user media shown in a "sdcard" (but not physically one)
my phone was rooted, i've installed phylz recovery (from : https://forum.xda-developers.com/canvas-knight/development/miui-8-canvas-knight-a350-mt6592-t3529989 links)
installation of recovery worked fine with https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mkrtchyan.recoverytools&hl=fr
i've reboot in recovery, wiped all.... then bug (or i havn't wait enough long) i've shut down then loop boot
i've reinstalled original build, a stock version from an officiel .exe (HIGHWAY KITKAT_V19.exe) it work and put all the phone like the first time (with my 10go user space)
i re do a root (kingo root) / recovery (phylz by rashr) / in recovery i wipe all, install from zip, then... no sdcard, it take a folder sdcard in the data of the 2Gb space, can't find my "10go sdcard" directory :/
then i've mount usb, transfered the rom in the 2Gb data/sdcard folder, installed the rom, worked but and got a phone with totally 2gb space for system/data/media no more intern sdcard T-T
any idea ?
it look like the problem is link to v1 v2 v3 things, did i missed something to do from stock rom v? to recovery v3/rom v3 from now ? wrong recovery ?
thx
- news :
> on officiel stock rom 4.4, i get back my 10go media place, deleted it / plug to computer to format in fat32 / used an internal sdcard fix / same pb nothing detected in the recovery :/
ok finally found !
wish it will help some other people !
the problem is that i'm not only a newbie, i'm french too (i see your smile ! )
seriously, its hard to find help about this problem cause we are not on the same start :/
looking here or other international forum for helps was hard (cause unknown prolem)
looking on french forums for helps was useless (cause they are french and just copy paste this forum, smile again)
so ! The solution is that my a350 is a "wiko highway", who got for last official update a stock rom v2.
like a newbie, i've installed a v3 recovery and a v3 rom on my phone like i read everywhere "just follow the steps"
yep but add, start from a stock rom v3 please :3
I had to install a stock v3 rom (sp flash > format phone > install a350 v3 stock rom) : now have 12.06GB phone place.
recovery now detect my internal sdcard, installation work, new roms work, got my full space
/ ! \ now got communication problem T-T, all work even data for internet but no phone no sms. ime = null, many post on this but not easy to resolve :/
- flashing back french orignal rom fix nothing
- changing with another sim card change nothing :/
>> i used fix ime apk (Chamelephon), to enter my ime manually, resolve call/sms but not sure i'm 100% bugless
/ ! \ bluetooth dont work (on slim6 rom, havnt test others)
>> had to insist, work

ho thx for reading XD
i'm desperate XD
after my 2 heavy post, i didn't want to monologue again but i'm still in trouble
the Chamelephon solution half work, i cant send sms. but i recieve, so i've format again for stock french rom, dont work.
i came back on the slim rom (same history with other custom rom, i prefer this one ^^)
sometime i got data connection (can go internet) other times no, but sms is constant, i receive, i dont send. (i've been able to send 1 time at begin dunno why :/)
i've just factory reset :
- bluetooth hard to appair, but i think its just a ****ty bt appairing thing so don't care i think
- pb with chrome to download in "sdcard", but perhaps a bug after many things done on phone
- pb with music app to find music in sdcard, but with an explorer i see them
maui, mtk eng, mtk droid tool, SN Write Tool, tools who seems to not work all on custom rom for me...
So i tried stock us rom, maui worked, i've put back ime (i think) now i kingo-root/recovery and flash slim rom
then i'll certainly have bugs again and test your zip thx !
what the detailed (advanced?) goal(s) of this zip ?

To fix Invalid Imei/Sim issues/serial issues/Null Imei/No sim/Network drop..
It converts spft flashable files(sec**.img) into recovery flashable zip.
If this works, book a trip for me to France.
heh
quite hot now in france btw ^^
fix done, no change :/
to be short if it can help to understand the mistake :
- got a 4.4 highway stock rom (didnt know but seem to been a v2 with 2gb intern memory and 10gb fake sdcard)
- phone is rooted with kingoroot, i used apk rashr to install phylz v3 recovery for a350
- i install a new rom v3 (slim/resurection/linage for example)
- i got only 2gb memory, no more sdcard, 10gb nowhere.
- i understand the v2 v3 thingie
- i use sp flash tool, to install custom rom (firmware update), same pb
- i use sp flash tool, to format phone (mistake i think), then format + firmware update with stock rom, i got my 12gb memory
- i use kingoroot / rashr / phylz to install custom rom v3, i got my 12gb memory
- i'm happy, but never test for each step the mobile function T-T
- cant phone, error translated : "no mobile band"
- i found the imei problem, yes i dont have imei
- get them back with apk Chamelephon, was looking good, phone, music, bluetooth hard to connect 1st time but ok
- but finally.... cant send sms. T-T
- I try reset factory, dunno if related but then chrome cant find sdcard to download, same for music app.
- wipe again, no more imei, tools to restor imei dont seem to work
- wipe again for us stock rom, maui work, i enter my imei
- still same pb, worst, got 3g icon, but no internet. then got it worked alone sometimes
- kingo root, rashr, phylz, wipe again "for a new rom", slim rom, reboot, sim fix, reboot
- same, no new thingie, dont see if something changed :/ (think the maui imei tool worked good, still have imei, or your fix too dunno)
2 bugs :
>> can't send sms, but i receive, can't find where to put the "mobile sms platform number", i can phone.
>> still got problem with apps who make **** for saving files on "sdcard" (save for example in storage/emulated/0/android/data/com.app.etc/files instead of simply simply storage/app/file or storage/download or storage/image etc :/
sorry for annoying

so :
SMS : send / receive ok
MMS wifi connected : send receive ok
MMS wifi off : can't
now i have a new past problem XD on my band icon i got a "!" no data, no mms work :/
this morning "!" was nos there, internet was working, really dont get it T-T

i've re tested to update to rom v3 (perhaps i did something wrong like formatting the 1st time) but still same pb data "!" and no mms
so still on kitkat stock rom, but old version and no space for apps then T-T

If you want to increase storage for apps on v2,visit miui 7 thread,it has ebr which you can flash through sp flash tools to increase app storage to 4,8 or 16gb as you like.
