Easy and not ugly (like sprint's mount) idea for windshield mount

I got this idea from a story posted recently for a diy mount for evo.
Yeah it isn't cheap, but it works pretty good. I already had all the parts, I just got extras just in case and I wanted to use my gps.
You have an evo. Get the hard case with the white back they sell at sprint store. Get a replacement garmin brand (not generic) suction cup windshield mount for the nuvi 205w from best buy. Put the hard shell case on the phone. Put the phone into the mount in landscape mode with the volume buttons on the top. Put the bottom in first then the top, just like you would put the gps into the mount. The bottom of the mount clamp is the wider clamp. Once that's done, make sure the case is in the clamps as far as it will go in on the bottom and top clamps.
The phone should stay in the mount pretty good by itself. You could glue the case to the mount for extra holding power. Just take the phone out of the case when glue is being applied. Also cut off the white stuff off the case where you plan to glue. Finally, make sure you don't obstruct the camera lens view with the suction cup or mount.
Sorry no pics or videos yet...

R800 Component Replacement, Schematics here

I have attached for everyone interested, here are the Component replacement and schematics for our phone.
On that note, I keep seeing in the component replacement that there is a coaxial connector, is that for a wifi antenna? I have a few old wifi antennas from old laptops that have the same connector as that... if one of these connectors works with those coaxial and it is for a wifi then I would like to try it.
Can anyone tell me if this is a coaxial for wifi? Thanks... not meant to be a question thread, but it sort of turned into it.... this is still more of a "
here you go" kind of thread
Due to size limitations on XDA I have posted them below

In regards to the coaxial plug in the component pdf, this is what I am referring to with my little question about that coaxial plug being a wifi plug...

you're not going to be able to install another wireless card into a phone using the connectors...

I took mine apart and the coaxial connectors are too small. I ran a wire underneath the wifi sticker and connected a stripped end to the underside of the wifi antenna and ran it down about half way along the side of my phone inside. I can now get about 50 further away from my home wifi then before

[Q] Stuff around earpiece

In the area near the earpiece, where the top of the glass meets the chrome ring/trim, I have some dirt or something in their. Any ideas for how to get rid of it? Tried compressed air, didn't do much. Think a toothpick or needle with Q-tip cotton wrapped around it would work? Open to suggestions. Thanks

Try blu-tack, plastercine or chewing gum.

Raspberry Pi Case

I am a manufacturer of raspberry pi cases and wanted to ask you want you would like to see in a case. Right now i only have one on amazon but am looking to make more designs very soon.
Look up current case on amazon under FlexPi or Lasergoodies
I'd like to see cooling vents and some motherboard style mount points cause my pi just rattles in its current casing. Would love to find a case that has gap for the reset switch mod aswell as space under the pi for an led ambient light or a case styled like a micro atx chassis you know to look like a mini PC
Then there's random things like port covers, no SD slot in the end for people that have micro SD adapters,
Flush USB socket edges or girly designs for if people wanna make a media centre for a girls room
Not all in one case tho

Cooling
You could deliver a transparent case with Heatsinks. If you Overclock the Pi, this is very usefull.

Is there any way to have the case act as a heatsink itself

Or with a mini fan

I bought a Pi and WAS going to put something like this in there feeding off the 5v microusb input. 4mm is quite thin, so can squeeze into the smallest cases easily.
Unfortunately it never happened as i sold the Pi due to lack of time to do what I wanted with it. I did put a heatsink on the cpu and regulator chip but never got around to drilling the bundle of holes for the fan so I could install it.

There's a few aluminum cases out there that have built-in passive heat sinks; don't have the links off the top of my head, just search for Raspberry Pi aluminum case on Google and they'll come up. Can be kinda pricy, but they look freakin' sweet.
Hi

Make a "bronze" or "gray" tinted clear case with built in heatsinks.
adafruit sells a solid aluminium case that has sinks built in but its rather expensive.
Something that protects the sd card better.. Mine took a slight knock and damaged the slot on the board. It's now wedged in with some cardboard!

Sea salt is not so good, but you can try blowdrying the headphone jack (make sure you turn on Cool air not Hot). Give that a try
I turn manytimes but no solution

Salt water is harsh on electronics. Quite likely there are mineral deposits or moisture remaining in the headphone jack.
Try using a minature bottle brush or perhaps pipe cleaner to gently clean the jack. Using a little contact cleaner or even a little distilled water (not tap water) should help. Then give it sufficient time to dry before using it.

I make all solution as you says but not working headphones& IR ????

Can u describe me what's that mean ?????
Sent from my SM-G900H using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
That is an excerpt from the S5 hardware test menu. It shows that the bias level parameter for the heart rate monitor didn't test within expected bounds.
Nominally that would mean that your HRM is misadjusted, has a dirty window or has otherwise failed. But it's probably a spurious result because you aren't testing under controlled conditions, specifically the test procedure outlined in the service manual.
If you clean the sensor window and rerun the test several times, with your finger over the sensor, away from it, etc, you will probably show that the sensor passes after all.
.
Until this moment IR Blaster & headphones not detected by my S5 ????
