someone help me please how to change icons
I think it wouldn't be too tricky for you to tell us, which icons you want to change-would it?
Hello. I really want to make my apps their own icons, but the only way to do that is to edit their coding. I'm no coder.
So, I come to XDA asking a simple question.
Are there any apps that allow me to import icons, or take existing ones, and swap them around to different apps? Or that let me assign an icon to an app?
This would make my phone look complete.
Please help!
If not, would anyone be interested in making one possible?
Many would donate, including me, and I could help with the graphics.
You can use reshacker to change any icons you want. Search for it.
will do thanks
I downloaded Reshacker, but appearently it doesnt work with icon exchanging, even though its an option. You get errors every time you use your own icon.
Anyone else have another option? I made some icons. Here's an example of a Ginvaders icon.
New:
Stars hand drawn
Planet Ring hand drawn,
space ship and bullets hand drawn
I wanted to put this as the Ginvaders icon, but as you can see, I cant get res to work.
Please, anyone have another solution? Thanks.

If anyone here knows how to create widgets, and implement Home++'s scrolling widgets feature, can they please create Sense UI style Twitter (FriendStream) and RSS/news widget? I could help with the design and GUI of it, but I have absolutely no idea how to program.
I will help as much as I can though, and I want to bring the whole community together to work on this and create bigger and better widgets/apps.

Hey peeps,
I've been using hd2 for around 2months now and I love it. im still using the uk tmobile 1.72 stock version and im pretty content with it tbh
i love to customise, tweak and experiment there are endless possibilities thanks to the devs/chefs on this forum who will keep this dying breed of a device going for as long as possible.
forgive me for my stupid question but in regards with the windows mobile part of the device which is very ugly and boring are there any themes for a different layout? maybe just change the background colour ? or do i need to install a non stock ROM? im really happy with sense & touchflo3d which i think is fantastic
secondly i didnt want to ask this but im starting to pull my hair out, can anyone tell me how i go about changing the 'notes' program icon?? simply because i do not know where the program is located on the device? i can select it as a quicklink thats about it also im using jwmd icon changer
if you get a second to answer i appreciate it
go to settings -menu -all settings -today and choose a theme from the list.........
for your icon notes should be under office in jwmd......
hope that helps ......
First, is it possible to develop an Android app that simply replaces the clock/date on the lock screen? All I want is to have my own custom clock/date on the lock screen, and be able to open up the app and change its font and layout.
If so, where would I get started? I'm a .NET developer, but have never done Android or phone development. Doing the coding doesn't worry me. I would like to know things like how I target that widget (if that's what you'd call it). Some general guidance would be appreciated with respect to replacing this specific widget.
Thanks,
Jay
