[Q] Need help rooting galaxy s4 with VPUAM9F build.

Hi everyone, I'm new to android and having problems rooting my Sprint S4. I tried to root using ODIN but apparently Sprints newest update has made it impossible to root. My phone was believed to be rooted but the supersu app say that there is currently no binary installed. When I try to update the binary it just fails. I don't know where to go from here. I was going to flash the stock firmware but I cant find one for this build. All help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Rooting KitKat 4.4.2 I9505XXUFNA5 ??

Hello,
I just have upgrading my i9505 to 4.4.2 I9505XXUFNA5 KitKat.
I tried to root my 9505 after upgrade with CF-root "jfltexx", but after i got PASS on Odin, i opened SuperSU and i got message "There is no SU binary installed and SuperSU cannot install it. this is a problem!!"
How to solve this problem? Is there any upgrade to CF-root jfltexx?

This is the answer, but please don't post these qustions in developer forums
you must to flash the super su update zip for the new 4.4.2 Roms my friend
If you have installed the CF autoroot you must to flash philz Revovery or CWM
and then flash this zip Link

Galaxy s5 sm-g900w8 new user

Hey all, Just picked up the phone in the title, and I'm looking around, and can't seem to find anything at the moment that answers my questions. It's running marshmallow, and i'm wondering if there is a root and twrp that works with that yet, or do I need to downgrade to 5.1.1. If that is the case, can someone point me in the direction of a 5.1.1 I could download, and I assume flash with odin. Thank you.

Hi coltonbauman
At the 3rd post of the main S5 CF-Auto-Root thread you will find the root you need.
You should also follow the S5 TWRP main thread. Read carefully and you will find the link at 2sd post.
I STRONGLY recommend you to get acquaintance with XDA Search Engine as soon as you can.
Nice regards and good luck.

In super su settings you can unroot. The stock rom guides are in guides section. Be aware you flash the rom suited for your device, don't downgrade!
Please don't post same question multiple times!
