Does any one know if there is a Sense-Froyo Rom for Nexus One?

I'd rather post a quick question to people who are dealing with this frequently, than trawl the web, sift through junk and install something which has lots of bugs.

btw, i dont think there is a sense rom that has everything working like your stock version. i hope im wrong but i was interested in rooting to use sense, in the development section i couldnt find any that didnt have disclaimers about things that arent working, so i havent gotten to try it out yet. But again, maybe im wrong, and i hope i am.
Without a criteria of what he is looking for other than good and stable it's hard to give a good answer. It's not about e-toughness, it's about searching, putting together an informative post, and reading the forum rules.
'cymru' is 100% correct. All it took was a search and reading comments about what does and does not work, then nandroid backup and try the rom and see if it passes the "good and stable" test.

Sense UI has its bugs on the N1. I think LauncherPro is 100x better than Sense UI. It's just not as smooth (this is coming from experience using it on an Evo 4g)

I'd run a stable sense rom if there was one with Launcher Pro as my launcher... I want sense for the camera, calc, dialer, calander, emails etc. not the launcher. The applications on it are just way better quality!

Well there are some roms that have ported sense camera, and apps.
I do believe my "The Official" rom has them. It didn't come stock with the sense camera, but I had it installed (easy to do from spare parts, plus I have 720p recording).
The best you can do is look for a rom with those things ported over.

I might check that out...I tried KingKlick's latest rom and my phone rebooted all night long with it. Lamesauce.
I agree with cymru, its not that hard to click one section over to development and see what's there instead of someone making a new thread everytime, and xda agrees. Not a big a deal yes, just saying I agree

Luckily i've been a member for a number of years so don't fall into this category...
If it wasn't for XDA recently attracting many young people that weren't taught at home or school in how to do something for themselves once in a while they wouldn't have to come and anonymously display their e-laziness. Just shut up.

Hi guys, if the battle for whos the cleverist is now over, heres some feed back for the advice given.
I've installed, Evils q&d sensefroyo. Been running it for a few days, its cool. A little buggy, a few force closes, high battery use, no bluetooth, but very usable.

I tried kingxclikz and Paul's r23 roms, I must say the first one is very buggy and there are no ways to use it even for 24h(though I think it needs an eclair radio),Paul's rom is way more stable but the lack of Metamorph themes,trackball mods and BT are too important.
He promised to release a new version soon so all we can do is wait and see!

Is anybody even working on bluetooth for Desire roms? I don't think anybody actually is. There are a few people I think might be capable like Paul but he's busy with other things now by the looks of it

Excellent question mate. But only you can find that out. Get starting and tell us about it.
Currently using MCCM SE v3.3 after I broke my ShubCraft build (lol whoops!).
My favourite build I've used so far was a tie between ShubCraft 2.0 dropmode and MDeeJays DesireHD. I can honestly say tho the ONLY detractor from the Desire HD build for me was the camera not working. If it had I'd still be using it today.
BlueTopia is my newest, lovin it. The animations kick ass, and mms works on T-Mo out of the box. Hyperdroid 1.7 is great too. I love havin a 16gb card, I switch between 5 or 6 builds on my card using the Exceller loader all the time
maybe a proper question will be 'which one is the most working one?'
in matter of phonecalls, 3g internet, calendars...mail, camera, playing music.
I understand that some users want the best speed and are not really into an accurate calendar or alarm.
can you please point out which of the builds have everything working fine on an average level
at least some of you should know from personal experience...

Currently I'm using MDJFroyo Sense Revolution with the latest kernel or at least the one release a few days ago. I was a DarkStone fan for the longest (the longest length of time with his build was 2 months) and wanted to try a stock build, but didn't like it cause of data isssues. So I bounced from buil to build until I saw m-deejay releasing builds every week or at least updates and thought I'd give it a try.
So far, I really like it. Love that he includes a cool theme with his builds. Aside from looks the build is very stable. With the most recent kernel, data disconnects happen less frequently, and mostly when I'm at work and can't get much of a signal anyway. Thankfully my job is upstairs from a nursing school that offers its students free wi-fi lol.
Other than that, he keeps his builds updated which is also cool. I want to try another HD build, so when I get home I'll change a few things and go from there.
As far as set up:
I'm running HSPL 2.08 or 2.08spl (i haven't updated it in awhile so I forget)
Radio 2.12
Omega XT with GTX 1.8.5 Sense Theme (awesome build)

3- Now that most ROMs are fully functional, no need to recommend what you like or think is best. (Not that there ever was)
4- This is the HD2 section, not the S4 section. (And if by S4 you meant Sense 4, it's not even "fully" working).

Please, don't bother arguing when you're wrong. This thread is irrelevant right now but you brought it up again with a broken link and no valid reason. He answered you because you BROUGHT THE DAMN THREAD UP AGAIN so of course he's going to see it on the front page of the forum and wonder why someone's reopened it. Yes, he's criticising you because of you reopening an old thread and now, since you've replied in this manner, I'm sure he has a problem with you (just as I do). He didn't earlier have any sort of personal problem, but you're just being rude. If you have the GS2 then post in the GS2 forum (or better yet, don't post anything to do with best ROM at all) but not here in the very clearly marked HD2 forum. Also if you can spare a minute please state any noticeable differences of ICS roms ..is it worth it? ..im currently using americanandroid, cant fault it but i have been patiently waiting for ICS to develop before trialing please help me out..ps ii was unable to find any threads similar to this using search .
My favorite part of ICS is the soft keys, I love them. Also the task switcher is very handy.
I like the Ice Cream Tosti ROM. Lots of neat little tweaks that the CM9 build doesn't have yet.
If being able to make videos is important to you, don't switch to ICS yet.

At the moment ICS is quite stable, definitely useable for for every day. As moschino02 said, if video is important then there is no point as hardware acceleration is not fully available just yet, only a hack (not really sure how it all works tbh). A lot of the CM9 mods are also not working yet but give it time, the devs here are working very hard.
As I said though, it is working very well for the early stage of development its in.
What you could do is make a CWM backup of your ROM and try out one of the ICS builds. But if you use and kind of a2sd script in american then I would recommend using a separate sdcard here so you don't mess up your sd-ext.

Hey stuck around gb for a while, ics is under development for hd2. Though it works, it won't do it all, so 3-5 months more..

I have installed on my phone NexusHD2-ICS-CM9-V.1.3 and I use it every day now for about 5 days with out any problems. Of course it is an under development rom but it is still good enough for every day use. Cheers!
The ICESense Team wants to keep the Dev thread a DEV THREAD, nothing eles. Anything chat with the rom will be done here unless it is DEV related, and we will be getting the mods to really watch the thread and making sure that it stays that way.

I feel like this is going to be really hard to get the camera working because of all the new technology in the One series, I'm not a dev but I'm just wondering other people thoughts. and that is a FANTASTIC start for the 1st working beta of the ROM.

Well with the One V having hardware like ours, it is alot easier then when you are trying to port from a different processer. But for me not doing the work, that is just what I think LOL
People .. my problem is that after a timeout, wanting to wake the device, just turn on lights of the buttons below and must restart the terminal ...

Anybody having problem with Chrome Beta since 2.0 version?
It was ok on 1.3 though there were some graphical glitches sometimes, but I cannot even scroll web pages on 2.0.
Did HTC fix that issue with bluetooth that disabled bluetooth keyboards and game pads?

even though the camera doesnt work.. ist still a great rom.. in my opinion the best one out there yet.. very stable, have been using it for about a week now and ive used about three different roms and so far this is the one with the best battery usage.. everything but the camera seems to work, its pretty smoothe.. AND as a plus you get 25 GB of free storage from dropbox.. WHEN they get the camera working.. im going to keep this as my permanent rom

When I open Facebook app after few sec's wifi disconnects. It's like ON but not scanning and there are no available networks. I must restart to be in normal. Anyone else have this problem.

A very nice rom. I like it a lot, is very smooth, stable and it have a few bugs but not big issues. Hopefully the camera will be fix once HTC have released the drivers and we will have a the complete taste of HTC Sense(lite) on our devices

Hi All,
new member and new to flashing. Proud to say my first flash ever was recently on the Inspire with the Primo-S 3.4. It works great and I love it! I've read just about all the post on the forum and still wondering when the camera will get the fix you all have been waiting for. Most recent post on here was way back in April. Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong area or missed this update somewhere along the way so please, any update or redirect would be greatly appreciated.

Camera should get fixed as soon as htc releases the driver for it which shouldn't be taking long. Devs and truly dhd followers we've been waitong for this for a long time. I'm glad you got your first flash successfully there are some other Roms that you could try in the desire hd android development section. I am running sense 4.0a simply edition by rabim and it works like a charm.
