I use mikshift 1.1 with x99percent kernel its a good setup
Cm7 nightly 122 is stable for me..no bugs whatsoever that I've seen. And also using sparcos kernel with a smartass governor. I get excellent battery life

CM7 stable with scaryghoul kernel or mikshift with 99x kernel
Both run great, just a question of interface.
Where would I find cm7 122 I can only find cm7 121

Try out shift deck, or evervolv if you like AOSP.
Evo SHIFT
Shift deck is the best rom imo and I've tried them all.

Really, the best option is to overclock to 1.2 or 1.4ghz before playing a game. As far as I can tell, and in my experience, not a huge of difference is present between gaming on different roms.
Slimbean will most likely give you the most amount of RAM free for gaming though.
Re: AnTuTu Benchmark - Post your score
Well i personally recommend cm7.2.0 with 2.3-BIGMEM-65FPS KERNEL
You will get 405 mb of total ram!!

Where do you find that kernel?

BUMP!! (for 2.3 kernel link!)
the GB roms are the best for gaming, like oxygen 2.3.2 and CM 7.2
for jellybean roms, as said littlebigsnafu slimbean give you the most amount of RAM free to play games
here a kernel wirh bigmem for GB! --> http://byeonggonlee.blogspot.com/2012/04/gb-lynx-kernel-150.html?m=1
I really like JellyB-TSM 17 with Marmite 7.3 (non CM).... read the thread, some gamers on it singing it's praises!
Hey guys i am running purity rom and purified kernel. I am just wondering what kernel alternatives there are for this rom, specifically looking for a combination of the most features+performance in the kernel. Purified is good but lacks some features such as my wanted sio governer and performance seems to be lacking on benchmarks. Any suggestions?

Before you flame, could you suggest a fast 4.4.x ROM that would make up for the fact that PSX is no longer upgraded?
Is Purity fast??
Ty in adv for your opinions

I hear ya but I did not think PSX was that fast or rather faster than some of the rest. Now specify what type of speed are you looking for benchmark speed or just daily click an app speed. Because Semaphore Kernel can help any rom that you feel is not fast enough for you...
Best ROM threads are not allowed, try a few ROM's and find out yourself.
